I m a cat sitter too: Always take a VOICE NOTE of their owner . It always works during the initial days when the owner is away.Play them when you go to them for feeding and littering cleaning.

Some cats will hide, or are in no hurry to come out to greet their catsitter. It's good to have a bag of their favorite treats you can shake to get them all out of hiding at the same time. Some will come out for treats, others for their favorite toy or the sound of their favorite toy.

Nice timing, I am going away overnight and realized I forget to drop off the keys! I will block the access to the catio as this time of year we could get a surprise snow storm and the wet snow can damage the catio. Plus I will be gone over Halloween and just better to be safe. Your little escape artist was having too much fun! Even though they have the amazing set up some cats like to be “out and about”.

I’m cat sitting my daughter’s cat until Tuesday, some people think cats can be left alone for days, but not really, I would never recommend it. My daughters lil guy Beans 🫘 is so demanding 😂 he loves to crawl under the sheets, with a person to cuddle. I love cat sitting my grandfurbaby, it’s a real joy. I have a cat of my own, it’s like raising a child, I have 3 children, so almost the same, only that I can leave the cat alone for a few hours. 😂lol

Very nice video with great tips. I was waiting for the part where you had to climb the tree to get her. That would have been so cool. I’m a bit suspicious that after running away, she came right to you with a sweet meow…..
