Hey Navie I got a question.. do you think you got your placements from youtube? Like doing videos or did they find your track on youtube? Or did you send it in through email?
I bought a email list but I think its fake because all of the emails come back.. im just super frustrated and I've been producing for almost 8 years and I still can't figure it out.
Very nice sir ,bt this automation thing not working in 3/4song i dnt knw wts happening Problem is this each one chord in my 3/4song =3beats and gross beat has 4 beats So one effect/pattern doesn't combine with other in 3/4 song plz tell me sir
My favorite technique with gross beat is to apply the half speed effect, increase the project tempo by about 50%, and take my sample an octave up. With the right sample the result is very dreamville like
By far the clearest explanation of Gross Beat I've seen. The only major thing missing is an explanation of Trigger Sync and Position Sync - both really worth understanding!
That automation tip, taught me that I don't have to open multiple gross beats to use different presets on the same instrument. Just right click and create new automation clip.
Absolutely needed this one, I was stuck on a project not knowing how to manipulate specific knob values with peak controller and volume automation, to create modulating stutter effects
You a god my Ggzzz 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 love your content! Been following your videos and your production for a grip now and salutations beloved you never disappoint!!! I was wondering if you have any tips on getting placements if you haven’t already dropped a dope video on how you stepped up in the game WOULD LOVE A FEW POINTERS FROM A MASTER OF THE ART
Your channel is amazing and slept on. It’s quality content and very useful. Your work on pedro is incredible! I’d say invest a lil on ads or look in to it because I can definitely see this channel being bigger. Keep doing what you do!
Thank you so much Theo 🙏🏽 glad you enjoy my stuff. I only began making videos recently but the growth has been pretty good all things considered. By the way, is there anything in particular you'd wanna see a video on?
Navie D. I have a list actually lol. How to make a song with space for the artist. Or song structure without getting monotonous. How to have multiple instruments and not make them clash. How you generally start and finish a beat in FL, your process, how you think. How producers make a song feel full but not over saturated so much for an artist to feel overwhelmed? Any of these would be very interesting.
@@thatsotheo awesome man, thanks so much. These are great ideas, I plan on incorporating some of them in my upcoming video in a few weeks so it's good that there's interest in the idea
That was a great tutorial. I suppose if I had anything to add, I'd say touch base more on the automation clips if there is anything left to touch on. I know that copy value and paste into the automation clip. But is there another way to make gross beat work on the clips? Or maybe an export/import option of the clip? I kinda assumed that how it was done but I guess I'm way off! LOL Thank you.
Bossssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, You bring smiles to our faces each day. Be blessed in multiples. so that we can also be continue to be better from your teachings. One stop Shooooooooooooooooooopppppppppppppppppp. You are a Genius.
And please do well to alert me in advance , anytime you may decide to charge for lessons, so that I can prepare as well. Because I have just fallen in love with the lessons, and I am getting amazing day by day in production, from your lessons
Yo Nav do a slicex and mpc essential tutorial on how to do a diff sample with another sample! (FL studio) (Mpc) How to place a sample loop and keep it running while you do a trap beat I’m having that struggle since you explain very well I’ll appreciate it!
Honestly exept going though the presets I didn't know how to use it thanks! I also just discover that patcher has a lot of great presets. I know how to use it but it could be an idea for a video, that's a super powerful plugin
Can anyone please explain how can I cut off Gross Beat after a certain point? I just wanna apply it to a small section and mute it on everything else. But I always end up with Gross Beat working after that point and cutting the remainder of the sound, so for example instead of just getting normal reverb after GB was applied, it always cuts the sound again and sounds horrible.
Does gross beat reverse just not work right on Mac with that delay in the first bar. What do ya do when you want to use reverse in gross beat

Hi,i still dont know how to apply some effect for only one section of bars, for example i have 8 bars and i want to aply tape off to 4th bar, how to do this?
So say you want a gross beat pattern for only like a forth of a song can you do that? Is that what the automation clips are for so you can place it on only one part of the song? Instead of the whole song?
Last night I've got a script error I accidentally pressed the space key I think it was because of gross beat. Ive deleted the project and I think it's better now. But every time I turn on gross beat it has a clicking sound even with no gross beat Effekt on it clicks bei start and stop help
Bro i know im late, but, how the F*** can i put the effect for example (Backwardsreverse) just at one specific place in my track???? It runs all the time and i dont know how to do that. Please help
navi what if your trying to go to different presets in the top right of gross beat? i cant figure out how to do this if i create an automation clip and one preset is on monetary and the other is on pattern then the automation only work within momentary and wont switch to pattern any way to correct this would be apreciated
Whenever I try to use reverse speed my sample gets delayed by a full bar, even if there's no silence in the beginning. Is there anything I can do about that?
At that point, I would either go into the Gross Beat pattern and erase everything but the 4th measure (erase as in put it back to the straight default line), or you could just turn the dry/wet knob all the way down and automate the dry/wet so it goes full wet in the 4th measure.
If I have Producer Edition, how do I gain access to the full version of Gross Beat? Do I have to upgrade to the Signature Edition? Or is there something on the Image-Line website that can unlock it?
Imagine if a company developed an actual Grossbeat standalone hardware. Or how would a analog version of Grossbeat would look and sound like. That would be pretty dope.
I just want a plugin that will allow me to increase/decrease the bpm of each pattern, the automation clip that comes with FL Studio controls all patterns, i just want to modify the bpm of my drums.
I use studio one, I don't have any plugin quite as cool as this for chopping up samples. Is there by chance a plugin like this that works outside fl? Great tutorial man!!
I'm confused tho when I use reverse on Gross Beat its quiet then it starts. Maybe I'm just dumb but I can't find a way in this video that helps fix that.
It DOESNT WORK PROPERLY WHEN I HALF SPEED A SAMPLE, IT EATS OUT THE BEAT NUMBER 3 AND 4 FOR THE FROM BAR. HOW CAN I FIX THAT? i LIKE HOW THE HALFSPEED MOMENTARY EFFECT WORKS, BUT I WOULD LIKETO KEEP MY WHOLE MELODY WITH THE EFFECT BUT WITHOUT LOSING THAT PART FROM THE MELODY.
Yeah, Gross Beat works on a 1 bar loop. So if you half time, the second half of your pattern will not get played. You can try playing around with the BPM, reprint the same, etc. Gonna have to use a workaround if you want to Halftime the whole thing
@@NavieD i figured it out and got the effect to play at a certain part of the melody. But, the way it sounds from me playing the song from the beginning versus me playing the song just before the effect plays sounds pretty different. Idk if that makes sense but idk how to fix it
Most likely the reason you are running into this is because your sound isn't starting at the very beginning of the bar. Half time takes whatever is playing in the first half of the bar and stretches it out over the full bar. So if you have a gap in the beginning of your bar before a note plays, that also gets stretched
