22 Jump Street was a great sequel actually.

22 Jump Street wasn’t a flop. In fact, it was more profitable than the first. I personally like this one over the 2nd. This is where Channing Tatum really started finding his footing as an actor. As someone mentioned in the comments, Johnny Depp and Peter Deluise were from the television show along with some other cameos (Holly Robinson Pete). The show was cool when I use to watch the reruns, but the series is definitely for an audience of a different era.

The lady who gave them that car for school is Holly Robinson Peete. She was in the 21 Jump Street TV Show back in the day.

the undercover cops at the end were the original main characters of the tv show that his is based on. as well as them being famous actors themselves (the lady that gave them the car in the intro was a main character on the tv show this is based on. that part was major because it means this movie is in the same universe as the o.g series
