Muslim or not, we are not Arabs or parts of the Arab world like the Sudan. We should not aspire to be part of the Arab world either. Therefore, we are not obliged to respect or recognize Arabic as a national or official language. Its one thing if people want to learn it in schools on a individual level. People should be able to learn any language that pleases them. But, it is not the state's responsibility to protect and promote foreign languages. Only Tegrena should enjoy national and official status. As a Habasa you should not disagree with this position.

People's ancestry is determined by their ethnicity and national identity. Though i would not consider myself to be particularly bigoted, i have no love or affinity for Arabs and I certainly would prefer to be a bigoted Habasa than a Arabaphilic Habasa.
