Ditch the tub and go with the shower. I also would spray isolate. It will be worth it in the long run......

Ditch the bath, not worth the time. Stick with RockWool for the insulation - it has so many great qualities over spray foam (fire resistant, animals don't eat it etc etc) You want your walls to be able to breathe and let any condensation out, not trap it all in with spray foam. Love watching all this progress!

Enjoyed following your progress. Maybe consider an outdoor tub connected to a copper coil and burning wood inside the coil for heating the water. Might be nice outside in the summer with just cold water. Wheres your mains water coming in, and where’s all the waste water going? Wouldn’t we normally see the groundwork’s done for that already? As others have said, the ground looks way too close to the wood for my comfort.

Perhaps I've missed you mentioning it, but I'm just wondering what actually keeps the skylight in place, since it's not gravity as usual with a skylight. Keep up the amazing work, very inspirational.

You'll definitely be in by then, Once the Windows are done, Everything else is indoors, Once the floor is down everything else is nice and dry indoor stuff. I assume the drainage for waste water is already onsite? Personally I would go will the basic shower first so you can get a good wash after each day working, and then make plans for something cooler later.

Will you have an overhang to cover the top flat edge if the skylight frames. I would be worried about standing water or active rain getting into those gaps. Anyway, love the channel. Keep up the great job!

Hey I'm from the United States but where I'm from you can't have any wood touching the ground because otherwise termites come in really quickly... Not sure if termites are a thing where you are.... but yeah, maybe check on that? ..Because it does look like you have a number of pieces of wood touching the ground that are part of your Construction... Can't wait to see it when it's all finished..I have no idea how to build a house. Simply know how to install basic things in my flat. U can do it!! A bath sounds amazing but it seems people think a shower is more feasible. I think the major problems are piping/ drainage and insulation? Stay warm. X

Honestly, ditch the bath idea, takes up too much of the limited floorspace too.... With a shower you can leave yourself more space to put other things such as cupboards etc.

nice work on everything! I'm just at the end of building a 3m x 4m workshop/garden room in my garden essentially exactly how you are doing the tiny house. One suggestion for cladding the back wall cheaply is feather edge board. I did two walls in metal cladding but the two visible walls I was going to do in Cedar but couldn't afford it and went for feather edge in the end as it's just a glorified shed - easy to install and looks fine and is super cheap, would be fine for your back wall for sure.

PLEASE don’t invest in a spray insulation kit. I know the US love it. But it causes so much damp as it seals to well causing the wood to sweat. Over time it will grow mould. Stick with compressed rock wall. It’ll take a little longer but so much better than spray foam. P.S. I dropped a message on your last video regarding your fireplace chimney.

I had marble counter tops and the trouble with marble is soft and when any stain got on it, it never really came off. They were beautiful but I should have picked something else. I, also, put cork floor which didn’t turn out and I had to replace. It was great to walk on in the kitchen but the person who put it down really didn’t know how to put several layer of shellac.

I know that I am blocked somehow from commenting on YT, but here's a simple Q.... Why did not you put a 3 - 4 foot roof/rainfall/shade extension around the place to stop any residual and damage from the elements, such as rainfall? Doh?.

Insulated backed plasterboard is overpriced, it's essentially the solid insulation boards you can buy glued onto the back of plasterboard sheets. I wouldn't advise purchasing it in a situation such as yours as you will be screwing the boards onto wooden battens rather then dot & dabbing. If you want high efficiency you'd be better off just straight up buying something like Kingspan rather then rockwool, getting it thick enough that it completely fills the voids and then screwing your plasterboard on top, making sure to use foil insulation tape on any joints. Would be interested to hear others thoughts on this!

Gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, all in realm of "are you living in the real world?" so roll with it. BUT the shoes! That brand of trainers are great. They are NOT good enough for a work site. Come on, plenty of reinforced toecap stuff easily available and wearable.
