Lo Miller the sound Is truly amazing, being really close to the cab and all, it reminds me of a big rig when low in the rpms, mine is 7" angle cut 36" tall, the height is what makes the deeper sound as opposed to an exhaust tip. But it generates a lot of heat in the surrounding area and heats up your glass and roof paint. I unfortunately had to remove mine because I haul hay very often and have my dog in the bed and do not want to damage her hearing. Would recommend
I had dual 6” in my truck for a while. LOVED the look but grew to hate the cab noise and losing the first 6 inches of the bed to piping, I now have dual 4” behind the wheels and love it. But to be fair my truck is a gasser so the cab noise might be different on a diesel

I ran a 7 inch on my 12 valve for about a year. The sound is amazing. It sounds like a c15 cat , but if you go on a long trip it gets super old and everything in your bed gets covered in soot
This is a good representation of what it’s like to drive my 95 12v with a 4 inch straight pipe and 7 inch stack behind the cab. It’s too loud of me with the rear window open to I keep it closed.
Why? I get the sound deal, it does sound good but why #1 take up space in the bed, 2 can't keep the back window open cause you can't hear shit and everything gets smoked, 3 the back of the cab and everything in the bed gets smoked. Just a question.
Jacob Millspaugh yep, very true. I personally like side pipes, or a single pipe exiting down and just behind the passenger side rear tire. This stack does sound great though.
A shit load of mistakes made in this video man. Sounds good but im just going to be hinest with you. You will get tired of it being right there. All of you youngs ones out thete will probably argue but I'm telling you the older you get, if you still have that truck, it will get old.

Wind tha neck in, fella. wind your windows up.. and lengthen that 8-inch smokepipe a bit, not much, just a bit.. so that smoke don't get in the cab. Sounds very sweet very sweet indeed.
I don’t have stacks but I do have strait pipe on 2007 6.7 wit exhaust break that sound berry good too. I will post a video soon. For all the Cummins aficionados like us
Mississippi Mud Team they do not make jake engine breaks for small ci motors like this. Only 10 liter and above. That is why pickup trucks are only offered with an exhaust brake. And no, jakes cannot be fabricated to mate with the head of a small block diesel
Erik Ayala they never designed jake engine brakes to mate up with small ci pickup diesels. Only for large ci big truck diesels. That is why exhaust brakes have been the only option for pickup trucks.
