There's no rush to come out so whenever you feel ready and feel it's safe to come out to others. It's okay. In the meantime, we're here to offer support and a safe space for you. So, just because you're in the closet from your family and friends, doesn't mean you're in that closet alone. We're all right by your side offering support and acceptance.

It's so tremendously sad to me that the stunning and brave LGBTQ community only gets 259 holidays per year. I am litterally shakeing and crying as I type this. When will this marginalized community ever be noticed, seen, and heard? How can we be satisfied with only 259 days per year? Brothers, sisters, fellow zimsters and zirsters and themsters, we must keep on fighting the good fight of our pride faith and demand 365 days of accolades and admiration, nothing less can be tolerated!

Sara is an amazing individual with whom I respect dearly, and who helped me through some tough times. I'm glad to have met her, and I'm glad her creation, Asexual Awareness Week has become so international!

Okokok im so smart i just texted my mom and asked her what the Mardi gras parade was, im hoping that I can figure out how accepting she is by her awnser, if she mentions the LGBT+ community then she's probably pretty accepting but if she doesn't then she's either not that accepting or didn't think to mention it Edit: she thought I was talking about fat Tuesday in New Orleans....... Edit2: OMG I AM SMART I ASKED HER WHY WE DONT EVER GO TO CHIC FA LAY AND SHE SAID ITS BC THEY ARE OVERLY AGAINST SOME PPL IE THE LGBTQ SHES AN ALLY WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ( still not coming out yet tho, that would be stressful)

This video was great Matt! 10/10 with great explanation! I didn’t expect this many holidays but now knowing there are many more Holidays than I thought! Also now I can celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month in October AND my birthday (October 27th) at the same time!! (This also gives me a good chance to come out to my dad 😰💖💚💙)

my 5-year-old brother keeps calling me a boy and my parents keep correcting him saying I'm a girl but I'm gender-fluid so I don't correct him, but my mom always tells me "enough with the gay stuff I don't want you influencing your siblings" and I tried telling her I'm bisexual and gender-fluid and she told me that gender-fluid doesn't exist its not a real thing and neither is bisexuality and that there's no scientific proof that it exists. I don't know what to and how to be myself around her when she's saying what I identify as isn't real when it is and it's a part of me.

The Netherlands were actually the first country to legalize gay marriage in 2000. Not that the Irish Marriage Referendum Day isn’t important, but Ireland wasn’t the first country to legalize gay marriage… I’m pretty sure at least a few other countries legalize it before Ireland but don’t quote me on that part.

Yea, I came out as a furry in a livestream a while back. My fursona is a Labrador Retriever named Amante Dellosso (Italian for Bone Lover, a total gay puppy pun). That’s why our cover photo on our channel now says LGBTQ Education, Furry Positivity, and so on because we’re furries here and we accept them into the positive nature of this safe place.

I know I'm 4 months late but a few months ago I saw one of your videos as the first video of yours I'd ever seen.(the pride flags one.) Slowly but surely you have helped me discover my true sexuality. I'm such a big fan and just want to say thank you. When I thought I was bi I came out to my parents. One is Catholic and the other said I shouldn't understand (9 years old, almost 10 now). I'm not coming out to my parents again until I'm 15-17, but thank you very much for helping me discover an important part of myself. You will forever be in a place in my heart. ❤💛💚💙💜

One thing I would like to see during some of the transgender holidays that are celebrated I’d like to see someone bring up to make more awareness of the cost of the healthcare for transition and try to make insurance companies aware that we need to be insured and need to have our surgeries medication and all covered considering I personally I am on Medicaid Medicare and I also receive Social Security benefits which makes it hard for me to afford a lot of surgeries but the clinic that I go to they are trying to do their best with getting bottom surgeries covered by insurance and I have just put in with my clinic about a boob job as well as my gender confirmation surgery and hopefully this time I will make it and get it done but I still just have to deal with the bill for laser hair removal and my boob job which insurance companies need to cover those for those of us who are transgender can somebody help with making this awareness in trans holidays more visible I would love to be able to do that

All of them listed are the exact dates for 2021 but most are labeled in the video if they change from year to year because most holidays stay on the same date every year. The only mistake in the video is National Day of Silence which we said was on April 9th but this year it’s actually on the 23rd.

Right? I wanted to comment this, but I thought this crowd would devour me alive. Considering there's so many holidays, some of them complete copies of celebrating certain things, like for example, the appreciation days, then the awareness months, then dedicating whole months to certain people in the LGBT. They already have pride month, what's with all the extra holidays and why so many?
