26.69 to 22.97 200 Meter Dash Transformation

This is a montage of all of my 200 meter personal best showing a progression. This took about 3 years from 2020 to 2023. While the progression seemed very linear there were many moments where I didn’t run PRs and sometimes ran bad times. But that didn’t stop me from eventually improving. Those loses where necessary for growth and were a part of the process. The journey is an ongoing pursuit. Subscribe to follow the journey

What a great idea for a video. Your transformation from just a kid running to being a very tough opponent is amazing to watch. You have some tough competition it looks like. You definitely have a strong kick, and good technique. The 400 meters is calling. Keep going!!! Great job!

Now this season I opened up with a 23.05 and now currently my pr is 22.60 which I ran in -2.0 wind. I ran that pr last week on friday. Hoping to get down to 21 before season ends. Keep up the good work bud. hoping to see you in a meet when I come over. (Im from the Bahamas.)

Good video. This puts into perspective how the top world-class middle distance and long distance runners are practically super human. I watched the World Indoor Track Championships a couple weeks ago and the winner of the “metric” mile (1,500 meters) ran the last 200 of the race in about 25 seconds.

@@AdamPlanetaryI also injured myself a week ago, which cost me my track meet, which was the day after my injury. 😢 But good thing I have spring break right now, to heal. Also I strained my hammy, I don’t think it was intense tho, just like very mild, but I can’t run for a while now.

hello! i'm from s.korea! You're a really good motivation. I'm also practicing 200m but I can't break through 25 seconds. The 100m run to 12.3 seconds. My goal is to run 200m up to 23 seconds, can I get the 3 most important tips? In track schedules, fitness exercises!
@AdamPlanetary
@AdamPlanetary 5 дней назад
Im glad I could motivate you in your journey. As for the three tips I would say sprint fast often at 95% or higher, eat enough protein to aid in repairing the muscles that you train, and sleep enough hours to recover about 8-10 hours. These tips are simple but can take you a long way.
