I Used To Install Petcocks In Those Holes Until I Figured Out I Never Drain The Block!!! I'd Just Punch A Hole In The Rear Plug And Let It Drain From There!!! 😂😂😂 I Hope You Get It All In A Bucket!!! It Won't Be To Bad!!! Keep Rocking It Out North Of New York In The Great White North!!!!

I always thought that you needed to replace the frost plug till it used more water than it took you to get to work ….engine flush everyday. Ford has similar drains , never know what you will find when you drain them …sand , gaskets . Good luck buddy. RR
When i would change a dead block heater i wouldnt even drain the rad. Pop it out and let the tub catch the coolant. Its very rare that a block drain will come out. I dont even bother.
