Wow, I have watched every single walk-around Terra has done, and at first, I thought this was going to be a simple bolt on the truck, but it turned out to be one of the best builds so far imo! I love when I can relate to the builds because I built a lot of my truck with the limited resources I have. Also, there are so many innovative features I have never seen done before on a prerunner. This guy really knows what he is doing, It's so cool that he got to build it with his grandpa too!
Such an awesome video! This guy and his truck are badass!! Best part of the video though was the Grandpa bit at the end. As someone raised by grandparents I really dug that part. Wish my Grandpa was still here to see when my own project gets done. ❤️
Sick truck man! Very similar to my dream/future build. Big power, Do it all suspension, sound system, even the dual side exit exhaust that i wanted! I just chopped my tundra up to fit 37’s on a 3” lift but im already looking to upgrade to King shocks 💪🏼
Thanks... I had already designed a removable winch for the rear tow hitch on mine but the idea of mounting a front winch is now my new project of an addition...
This thing is unreal! I love it. Here I am stoked over the new rims and bfgtires I put on my 2007 tundra 4.7L lol. Eh I am still thankful for it tho. This is def inspiring but way above my league 4 sure. Excellent work, thanks for the smiles!!
@@andrewash2021 sick truck brother. I’m building a 4 linked 2011 tundra and where can I get that upper j-arm set up? Can I contact you to get more info? Jason
Just traded my 2nd gen tacoma for a 21 Sr5 4x4. Definitely going to plan on dumping my money into this rig instead of the tacoma. Absolutely love this build!
I was wondering about the rear diff the whole video, so glad he chose to run that 10½" stock Yota beefcake! Us 1st Gen Tundra/Sequoia guys really got jipped, 2nd gen front diff is bigger than our rear diff 😂 Sick build thanks for some great ideas!
There is a video of a stock 2nd gen tundra pulling a 300,000 rocket. Only thing was toyota made sure to have a braking system on the rollers for the rocket. The issue wasn't the truck pulling it. It was the truck stopping it. The tundra is no joke. Love them things.
Running 4wd Baja style is hard on the front axles. I've blown 2 so far. Good thing they're cheap from salvage yards when stock width. Short suspension vid on my channel, when I had dumb 20" wheels on 37s.. fukin noob I was
Cool build. Will it hold up to abuse? Id like a vid on what breaks. Not just on this truck but any truck. Also, what happend to the terra crew ranger build?
Check out terra crew most recent post from clean the desert in ocotillo. We rallied the truck around a small course with a whoop section, jump and even a double, with socal Eric in the camburg tacoma race truck. Truck drove out to ocotillo, rallied with a race truck, and drove back home all while towing a trailer back and forth.
These travel numbers crack me up. When are people going to start calling BS on these numbers. Same with all the ford kits. Claiming 16+ with 4wd. I need the stuff that these guys are smoking in Cali. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have airbags on daystar cradles, hauling a 28 ft toy hauler. We are MAXXED out towing. Nut having the brake controller set up correctly it tows Nicely. I lost so much travel with airbags. Bottoms out harshly!
Bro does this for a living. Terra Crew spotlighted the build and knows what's wack and what isn't, and here you are tryna spread green jealousy in the comment section.
If you had a full cage instead of cab cage your body wouldn't be moving around and having issues.. all trucks without cage work move. You have a cab cage no engine cage.. nothing coming threw the fire wall from cab into front frame horns or rails.. hoop n cross bar isn't a cage
I mean, it's not like you can't ask for clarification in the comment section to Terra Crew. Yeah, I don't think he said that was the case. Sounds like you're projecting assumptions.
Metal militia was in the Early to mid 90's.. not 2000's. It was dead .. sand rails was also a term back then. Rhinos where also Early..2000's they where dying
@@manoncouch4042 they died out in 2000'.. and link is now trying to bring it back.. I was a 90's kid in highschool.. I went to school with "Twitch" and I got introduced to Deegan at that time also.. they also where young at the time. I was there when mulitia started and they all moved to Temecula and fallbrook around 98.. Deegan branded the mulitia very well and made it a brand. Around 2001ish it started falling off. By 2002 it wasn't much of anything.. except their was still some merch available in stores at the time, but as a group and freestyle it died. And has been long gone now. Link has a small group he's trying to keep together but the mulitia days are 6 ft under
