What is the solution to persistent shoulder pain? One of the easiest ways to approach shoulder pain is to divide it into 2 areas. Firstly, the muscles of your shoulder connecting the humerus (arm bone) to your shoulder blade . These are called your rotator cuff muscles of which you have 4 of them.
And secondly the muscles around your shoulder blade. These are called your scapulothoracic muscles. Rhomboids, trapezius, latissimus, searratus anterior muscles.
