3 Easy and Relaxing Abstract Mixed Media/Watercolor Doodles

Hi guys! I have something a bit different for you today, 3 very easy abstract painting/doodle ideas for all levels including beginners, where you can also explore your own colour combinations and textures to combine with different mediums. And since this is super easy, I could also explore a bit more with my filming angles, so I tried to make the video a bit more artsy than usual. It did take me longer to film and put together but I hope you guys can relax while watching this weather you're going to actually paint them or not. Hope you enjoy today's video guys! Cheers! ^_^

Thank you so much! I tried all three variants and I find them beautiful. The "tree" reminds me very much of the autumn on an island in the Baltic Sea. Sometimes I miss this play of colors, because just now I'm living in the south of Spain. There is no autumn here like in Germany. Listening to you is pure relaxation. And it's so nice that you show your work in real time and not in this crazy time-lapse.

Wow. I can’t believe that I just found you. I just started watercolor, but don’t really care for the ‘normal’ stuff. I like that carefree and doodled look, especially now during this pandemic era. I’m going to subscribe and scroll through your videos to see if there’s more of this type. I sure hope there is and that you will post more. Your teaching style is so awesome. One that I’m following now stated she would not do tutorials unless you paid on Patreon so wasn’t sure if that was a thing for all watercolorists. Like I said, so glad to have found you.

Nice!! Such a great way to get used to your brushes, paints, and have fun without pressure. I think your abstract painting is just as fun and helpful as your more realistic paintings. I saw someone mentioned framing all three of these for a set. Great idea! They do look awesome lined up together at the end. Looks like you snuck Ashton in to help. :) He looks happy.

I actually thought of that but realised that my wall is still a mess from my old paintings HA Ah no.. ashton never helps.. he just sniffs everything and gets into my space 🤣he was so happy to be let in the house last night he leaped so high to land on the stairs to get up to my room... Bad idea! He tripped as he landed then walked a bit wobbly, then after he slept he's all normal again... what a strange one xD to think that he's turning 11 yo this year!

@@Nianiani Its going pretty slow for me this last month, but grateful for that much. I remember seeing many panitings on your wall so I understand. I finally had 2 of mine framed a year ago and havent put them up yet. Ha. Pets are silly and are just like kids. You know hes old but he doesnt. Haha! Hes just so excited to spend time with you. I havent had any dog visitors at all since this pandemic, but Im enjoying watching videos of all sorts of animals on the internet. Keep up the lovely paintings. We all look forward to them. 😆❤🐶🐕🐾
