I have been having a very bad week with my blood pressure soaring up to 170/75 or worse. Taking the emergency medication wasn't working. In despair, I looked up ways to lower blood pressure quickly in You Tube, and landed on this video. After practicing the the accupressure, quigong, and 478 breathing, I took my blood pressure. 119/72/62 Can't believe it, but thank you. I definitely have subscribed and thank you for helping me!
Thank you so so much.I was told to take myself to A,E.friday evening..my blood pressure was 200 / 105 . I was absolutely terrified. I have been told to see my gp . this week aft the hosp inform them of my visit. They told me i would need medication no doubt. It came down a tiny bit whilst there. They did tests and let me go.home. Told me to do my blood pressure until my gp contacts me. I have been its been high until.now...it has gone down to.148 / 91. I cannot thank you enough. I will continue these exercises all the time now and will pass this on to anyone that i know. This has made me so happy . Simply amazing
I practised many accupressure and breathing exercises. Two days ago my bp shot up to 190/105 and then I looked into many ways to reduce bp. First I tried to reduce 70 percent salt intake and I saw today this video. Morning I followed the accupressure as well as the three breathing exercises. Morning bp recorded was 128/83 and then it got reduced to 115/82. Today evening I checked twice my bp. It recorded first 110/79 and after accupressure practice the reading was 105/77. This is really amazing. Hats off to you sir from India bangalore
152 systolic to 141 systolic! Diastolic 71 . First BP taken 20 mins before doing this. 2nd reading immediately after exercise. Amazing. I can feel the difference! Thanks!
How many times per day do we do this pls? Oh, i tried this and before exercises i was 197/107, then after it was 178/101. I still have a long way to go. Thank u
Thank you for your kind feedback! Please stay positive and keep doing easy aerobic exercise like walking. This helped my dad a lot after he had a stroke. All the best!
It's really effective! 😊😊 My BP came down from 197/134 to 140/116 then I repeated the exercises & it finally went down to 116/98 in just 5-10 minute interval each. I can't thank you enough. God bless & prosper u sir!! 😊 😊
I tried the breathing exercise and massage technique on my elbow. Earlier my BP was 133 0ver 82 and after this exercise it was 122 over 72. I will continue this. Thank you very much, it is helpful and reminds me of Tai Chi Chuan
Glad it helped! You are doing the absolutely right thing by performing both calming activities AND light aerobic exercises. Good luck and please keep updating us on your progress!
Hi, yes, these calming exercises produce short term effect. For longer positive effect you need to complement it with aerobic and short HIIT exercises on my channel. Please give them a try.
Hello! Your exercise really helped me to lower my blood pressure from 121/85 to 116/85. Thanks so much! However, i couldn't find your Breath app on my Android phone. Will you be introducing your app soon on the Android platform?
Thank you for sharing such a valuable app, very worthy of sharing with family and friends. I'm a 70-year old senior and my bp was 133/92. I've been following your breathing exercises for three days now, and my bp is 103/71!! I am eagerly waiting for your android app... Thanks again!
Sorry that it did not work for you. As you could see from the feedback it works for most of other viewers. Please try other calming exercises on our channel and let us know how they worked for you
Hi, thanks for your questions. For almost all slow breathing exercises it is better to inhale through the nose as it helps with incremental production of nitric oxide by the body. Nitric oxide helps to dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. Please try other exercises on my channel and let me know how they worked for you. Have a wonderful day!
@Mallika Nayak better if u do it from nose. If u r feeling uncomfortable breathing out thru nose . Then breathing out from mouth makin fish mouth shape is also good.
Oh i wish I found you earlier! The very first time I did your first exercise immediately brought down my blood pressure from 143/87 to 115/ 70. I just happened to be taking my blood pressure at the minute I found you. At the end of the next minute I took my BP and found this exercise to be remarkable!! What a HUGE blessing! Thank you so much
This exercise works better for some people than others. You may consider performing other calming exercises on our channel. Please let us know how they worked for you
Even more important than exercise, my understanding is having REST and a CALM MIND does wonders to lower BP. Avoiding high stress levels and avoid haring around all over the place like a headless chicken lowers BP. If you are constantly on the go and stressed out and have lots of nervous energy and high cortisol levels of course your BP is going to be through the roof! Try sitting down, relax, listen to some calm classical music, read a book and you will see how your BP will fall! Try it! It will work! Did for me! It’s all a state of mind which is why many people have what’s called “ White coat syndrome” when they have their BP taken in a clinical environment it causes them stress and anxiety and heart beat goes up as does BP! Come home, make yourself a cup of tea, sit down and relax, take five, switch off and then chances are your BP will be much reduced
You have described me to a T. I am worrier and always feel anxious as though I am waiting for something bad to happen. Now, I am older it is really taking a toll on my body. High BP, blurred vison and so on. I envy anyone who has a laid back attitude, i wish i was like that
Sorry about this. As you can see these exercises produce positive results for most viewers. Please try other exercises on my channel and share your feedback.
I have been checking my BP as requested by my GP. This morning my BP reading was 170/101 and I have just come across this channel and have followed the exercises. After doing the breathing exercises i took my BP and it measures 112/60. Will doing these exercises everyday help keep BP normal? Even this gentleman's calming manner helps me to relax. thank you very much.
Glad that this video helped. These calming techniques produce only short term positive impact. Please watch other videos on the channel to learn about complementary specific aerobic and VO2max exercises which help to lower blood pressure long term
Thanks for sharing, I couldn’t see your foot stepping forward, I was hoping I could take a screenshot to remind me when practicing qigong , but I couldn’t see your feet.

I've come across with your vlog only last night and as a senior, i also have issues about my elevated BP. I'm taking maintenance already but sometimes it still goes up. I followed your exercise this morning and took my BP and was really surprised that it really works. Thank you for sharing this and I will make it a point to also share this to my friends with similar problem.
I am a senior too, and I plan to try the first one and glad to hear it worked for you, and wish you well. Me: I have succumbed to the fact that my blood pressure will eventually be 0/0 when my number is called. Had a nice 5 year respite of normal readings and now the back of my head feels like a baseball bat keeps hitting it.
You should talk to your doctor about medication. The best plan of action is to share with your doctor how these exercises help you to lower blood pressure and agree with him/her how they can be integrated in your overall treatment plan.
@judymahabir899 mine are very much health anxiety related, due to my Diagnosis of Chronic Inflammitory Response Syndrome and the long term inflammation of the brain and body and depletion of almost all the main hormones as well as a build up of toxins in my system. All my brain can do is pull the alarm whenever something feels off. But I'm going through treatment for it now. Any time my blood pressure spikes due to the fight or flight, I use these exercises to at least bring down blood pressure and then it's just a matter of taking care of the rest of me
Hello I want to ask question..I am anxious or will get nervous if I want to check my BP and my bp result is high.is that the effect of nervous can make my bp high?

Hi again, you asked in your text if we want you to discuss any other matter. I wonder if there is any possibility for them who suffers of arthritis (knee) can run. I have found for some months back that I have 3rd grade knee arthritis. After doing exercises for 3 months I'm much better and walk without feeling pain and stiffness. Do you think I can ever be able to run and pressurize my knees that much?
Wow! thanks a lot for amazing feedback! Sorry to hear about your arthritis :( I am not a medical doctor and certainly not an expert in arthritis, so, unfortunately, can not give any advice on this matter. My personal experience is that gentle stretching exercises helped me many times to overcome knee and elbow pain. I would strongly advise you to discuss this topic with a matter expert. Wishing you to overcome your arthritis and start running!
Hi. I am not sure if I am doing the exercises correctly. Usually after the exercises, my blood pressure seemed to go higher and only after relaxing , it would come down. I have no problem with breathing in 4 sec and holding the breath for 7 secs sessions or even more but just at about 7 secs towards the end of the 8 secs Exhale session, I am almost out of breath! Please advise. Thanks
Hi, thanks for your question. This breathing exercise is supposed to create a relaxed state of mind and body. It feels like it creates extra stress for your which is not good. Please try to reduce the duration of hold and exhale phases by few seconds and see how it works for you. The key is to feel more relaxed after this exercise. Please let me know how it worked for you
This exercise should help with your blood pressure short term. Please consult with your doctor how to integrate these exercises into your overall treatment plan
What is it about English spoken with an eastern European accent? It has such a hugely positive impact on me. I heard acupressure was good for anxiety and so typing in acupressure, this video came up. The combined effect of the exercises with that accent makes me feel as if I'd just taken a diazepam! Great video.
Just I come on your video and I want to give you my compliment for this guided video. Sure I will try these exercises. And if I have done I send you a comment.
Simplicity is the best solution to all the issues.Change your life style.Enjoy/spent most of your time with your best friends, laughter is the best medicine.Forcibly adopt hunting which gives you nice walk, nice food, nice pleasure, nice gossip. When you do this, get rid of all the diseases.
Hi, thanks for your comment. As you can see from other feedback to this video, it works for most viewers. You may consider trying this video one more time or try other exercises on my channel. Hope they will help.
As you suggested, I did try it again the next day, and it seemed to work this time! BP was 138/80, and after the exercises it was 127/79. Maybe I wasn’t massaging in the correct area yesterday…
Thanks for this valuable information. It did bring my blood pressure down. For the breathing exercises, not sure whether to breathe out through my nose or mouth?
