Holy crap I was doing 125 for the past year (no moving up or down) on squat for some reps because of but pain and now I released all that tension and squatted 240 today. Thank you!
Thank you! Truly I thank God and you for this! What a relief!! I have been suffering for YEARS and thought I was going to just have to live with this pain that gets so bad at times I can't even focus on anything else which causes problems at work as well in my personal life. So grateful!
I’ve been running for the last few years and often have been getting glute trouble after long runs (6 miles +). Tried a variety of post glute stretches, with little to no avail, but these stretches are gold dust!
Funny enough that was the only one I knew. I used to run daily and was so bothered that I could feel the glutes needed stretching but couldnt figure out how. Didnt even know what it's called so I couldnt find the words to Google it for. But one day I was adjusting my running shoe in the figure 4 sitting in a chair and realised it was being stretched when I start to lean forward with a straight back. It was like finally scratching an itch you've had for a very long time.
I know this is old but I have to comment. I’m an 8th grader who is a starting forward on their small team. While conditioning I hurt my hamstring. With a foam roller and LOTS of stretches it mostly went away. Then I hurt my glute. I woke up at 4am bc of the tightness. I was getting discouraged and wondering if I would be done with bball for the year and would not be able to run my last year of track in my small school. These stretches were life savers and will be added to my list of daily stretches. Tysm!
I’ve really struggled recently with what’s felt like hamstring pain right under my glute and also tight glutes. I’m assuming that’s all linked and that these would help??
Omgosh thank you doc! Im competing in the crossfit opens and today my glutes were so sore i could barely walk! Now i need stretches for my abs legs arms, etc 🤣
These are so much needed. ... It’s been 6 months. Lingering Sciatia. Piriformis may be from a tight glutes and hips. Or is it overstretched hamstrings. Or is it from spinal stenosis? Anyway these exercises should help!!!
Hope it's ok to ask this, I'm having trouble walking more than 20 mtrs having to stop for 2-3 minuets then off I go again 20 mtrs stop again this goes on until I can't go any more and have to rest a while. The pain is in both hips towards the bum cheeks deep pain. I have had an x-ray two MRI scans of my hips & lower spine orthopedic surgeon say he doesn't see anything that would cause my pain. Could this simply be my glutes, also suffer from some lower back pain that some exercise helps.
WOWWW !! dude thankyou so much !! I was playing as a goalkeeper in futsal and I dive suddenly and my ass was uncomfortable as if it was pulled or something. I let it slide since I don't know how to stretch my glutes. the discomfort continues until the next day, and at night I was searching glutes stretch and by following the first one and holding it for 20 seconds or more it actually relaxing my tight and pained glutes.. THANKSS !
