Good work, this is your second video of atego service i see 👍 why you start the truck two times? And i think if open up the pre fuel housing filter and the main one the pressure leaves so no fuel can come out. I changed mine yesterday, and the pre fuel was closed, a lot of diesel came out under pressure 😤 btw there is a valve i think mercedes is bleeding the system with vacuum, but not important, at me i took 10 seconds, then the truck started after filter fuel replacement 👍

Hi Samo, actually for fuel filters change on this engine Mercedes suggest the use of a portable fuel pump that connects to the fuel service connectors on front of the fuel filter house, once opened the fuel tank cap, is used first for remove the fuel from the housing and once changed both filters refill the house and remove the whole air, I used only once, if you do quickly it will start easily, I change one and start before change the second one because less air on the fuel lines less risk of damaging the fuel pump..

Yes you're right, i will do this like you in the future 👍 on our dafs lf and man tgl they have pumps on housing..but I never had problems with the fuel pumps on ategos although it took long times after leaked lines to start 😌 how often you change the engine oil, 60000 km or earlier? I have to change now the transmission (6speed automatised manual gearbox) and axle oil. And the rear disc brakes, but I need the tool for axle seal or wheel bearing to take off..i don't find any information about the size of the nut. Maybe you can upload a video with that stuff :) good time and stay healthy 💪

Mercedes trucks are quite clever about service, on this model the warning for engine oil change come on counting 10000 km or 2000 running hours, but it can be changed with xentry machine the gear box 45000km and rear axle 35000km I think Mercedes put the km for service low down a lot for warranty reason so if you miss it you pay for it and for the rear hub I can give you the Mercedes tool number is on the shelf I’ll look at tomorrow and I will send you it by message..

@@samobmw5075 the most affordable tool for that nut you asked for it is laser tool 6973 hub nut removal check the sizes for make sure it is the right one there are 2 different sizes and be careful with the abs ring distance before remove it is tricky...

Hi @bobl78. Sorry if I found your question just now, for some reason some comments don't appear on my notifications. The service cycles for Mercedes trucks can vary by the models, and engines duty. Anyway from Xentry WIS you can download or print the pages with the list and intervals between the services. The engine service is due once indicated by the dashboard, the first engine service comes together with Z1 additional operations followed by J1 service additional operations after the first year. JS is the time based maintenance service Is the safety relevant operations every jear, V2 adjust valves clearance after the second engine oil change. But as long as you follow the services warnings from dash and get the vehicle for safety check and maintenance every year your truck will be roadworthy at all time. If you have any specific questions the chassis number or model is the only way I have for give you the right answers.

OM 934 It is a euro 6 engine... fit on Atego 3 from 2013 till today

@@alexsemenov3019 it is one of the latest merc OM engines everything different from the old 926 la. They upgraded every single part of it

I'm Harish from Saudi Arabia I have some problem mercedes actros Bluetec 6 1842 .Display truck stating time automatic acceleration rissing 1000 rpm.Display cluster showing error code(Engine speed increases. Temporarily increase emission control required) problem please support me bro thanks you

Hi Bro I’m fine thanks. You should leave it parked in neutral running till regeneration ends for at least one hour then let me know if it ends it... but does it has engine management light on?

@@harishman1682 if engine management light is not on there is not problem it just accelerate by himself because it’s doing regeneration... can take over 1 hour. Make sure has at list a 1/4 tank fuel and 1/4 ADBLUE do not touch gears, pedals, leave hand brake on, and automatically will rev till the ashes level on dog goes to 0 it has do finish it by himself then if there’s problems will give you another fault on dash trust me... try, wait and let me know....

@@harishman1682 it was regeneration successfully done? Let me know please if the fault comes back there’s a scr problem or something that don’t let the vehicle complete the regeneration, it requires: More than 1/4 fuel tank, More than 1/4 adblue, Coolant, oil on level, More than 82 degrees coolant More than 400 degrees exhaust gases before and after stream, Gearbox in neutral, Hand brake on, Be in a ventilated area, It will take from 1/2 hour to over 1 hour, it will rev by himself and smoke out all the ashes trapped from the dpf on dashboard will show a warm up fase and a count down. During it do not touch any pedal do not breathe the fumes...
