In the Levantine dialect, we have three different negations we use all the time "mou, ma, and mish". What's the difference between them and when to use each one of them to negate:
- All the different verb tenses
- Active Participle s
- Have or to have with me
- Can, Want
- There is
- Should, Supposed to, Possible, Forbidden
- Pronouns
- Adjectives
- How to say not at home, meeting, work...

Another wonderful lesson. I learned A1 with lebanesse Arabic, so I am used to raj for future, and mish for negation...it is very helpful when you point out the differences between the dialects. What was very useful for me in this lesson was some of the vocabulary and the modals. 7 months learning arabic and I still run into modals I dont know. Need a video on modals aside from the typical "lezim".

Very helpful.... thank you very much... In the Lebanese dialect I heard from all my family, I think they used "ma" and "mish" mostly and very rarely the "mou"... but very helpful because I have a few Syrian friends as well...

Dialects are biggest discouragement keeping from learning Arabic . I have little spare time . My mind wants the Arabic of Qur'an , the most eloquent and purest form of Arabic . But apparently I have to learn later forms of Arabic that are different from classical Arabic to some extent.

@@LearnArabicwithManar Thanks, dear Manar for your answer. Your lessons are very very well presented, understandable and useful. Thanks once again. I would like to ask you, is your accent, if that is possible to call it so, Damascene? Because as far as I know, e.g. people of Damascus and Aleppo speak somewhat differently.

mar7aba manar. Your lesson is helpful but i still get confused sometimes as i’m not a native speaker. Eg: if i wanna say “i will not tell you” can it be “msh ra7 e7kelek” and “ma ra7 e7kelek” I feel like it’s right both ways. So how do i identify where to properly use ma, mu and msh.
@LearnArabicwithManar
@LearnArabicwithManar Год назад
Ahaln Aysha 👋🏼 yes both ways are right 👍🏼 You identify because we can't use them exchangeably all the time. I mentioned that in the lesson 🙂
