You are such a a blessing from the Lord. I to was married at 16 had my 1,st child at 17. I'm 65 and I still have to be reminded of these things. They are jewels. Thank you so much. I'm still raising children,my great granddaughter and 1/2 brother we adopted and my son 10, has ADHD,PTSD and autism and you are so helpful. I'm a better mom since listening to you. Thank you

The decor and home addiction: that is me!!!!! We rent as well and since we moved in here 5 years ago, I have said it never feels like home here, and that has caused me to have an addicition to home decor. I do everything I can to make it feel homey but it feels like a never ending cycle. Your story hits home....hard. As far as sacrifices: i tend to sacrifice a lot of my time, energy, effort and money to work, my further degrees and my kids schedules.

I’m having a difficult time engaging in more church related activities. I don’t have a church right now. Due to my work schedule I’m unable to attend on Sundays but I’m available for evening services. My own struggle is that I need to take my adventurous 3 yr old who is not used to church. It’s embarrassing even though I know the church doesn’t care. I also feel like God isn’t getting my full attention since I’m constantly making sure my kid isn’t running off or talking loudly. Do you have any words to help or a video I could turn to? Thank you everything you are doing ❤

I think part of it is working with our kiddos at home on how to sit, listen, play quietly, etc... so that when we go out they can know what's expected of them. Have a snack, take some quiet toys, things to color with, etc.... It may take a little time- but our kids knowing what's expected of them, practicing it at home during the week (like a "quiet hour" at home, ideally around the same time, and then putting that into action at church) can really help grow that self discipline. :) XO

@@HeavenlyMindedHome thank you! The quiet hour is a great idea! I’ve fallen into a chasm of using tv to distract my kid so I can get some things done around the house and I’m trying to break that. I know it’ll take some time, but hoping to become less dependent on “the screen”

I personally do not choose the KJV- but we encourage all to use whatever translation is best for them in all studies! If this is in regards to KJV-onlysim we would absolutely refute that as it is against what the Lord has called us all to be. 🙏🏼

Hello:) I have a question with regards to acupuncture and homeopathy, I'd really like to know if these modalities go against God or what your opinions might be on them, and sorry if you have answered this queation already one million times!

Hi! You didn't ask me, but I think (however have never tried it) acupuncture can be great! Not sure about the science behind homeopathy, however there's not a lot of research to indicate that it is effective for major conditions. Much like with a lot of things, moderation is key. So if you are prioritizing that over your worship, or spending more money than you can afford on it, etc, then I would think that would be where it would become a problem. I hope that helps!

It is amazing what you teach but are you saying that if your house burns to the ground you won't care?! I believe that our hearts can be on the Lord and not on our possessions but I don't believe that if something happens to your house you just don't care. I watched some of your videos and it seems like you exaggerated the way you express yourself. Maybe you just get super excited but it sounds false.

I've lost all our worldly belongings before- we woke up to a flood and had to be evacuated from our home by boat. I say that knowing exactly how it feels to lose all your possessions. All our sons baby items, my wedding dress, family heirlooms. Stuff is just stuff- and while I appreciate the things I have, I understand they're not promised to be here tomorrow. And not where I put my focus. Losing everything was very eye opening- we've given away all our belongings a few times since then... and I'm very thankful for being able to view it as what it is-- just stuff. :)
