I'm new to WW. WELL, I did it years ago but wasn't successful. Appreciate the recipes, it helps so much. My family isn't on WW but they are losing as well so these are nice for all of us❤ I have an autistic 13 year old who's like a 2 year old soooo the quick and easy recipes help me sm🤷♀️
It's always nice to find things that are WW friendly and the whole family likes. I have found that my kids are all about the WW desserts which is nice because then I don't have to make a lot of separate non WW treats. Being easy and quick is a plus! I hope you enjoy if you try them, thanks for watching!
We were so intrigued about using Sprite on a cake. This is so cool and we love pistachio. It looks like such a light cake too. Really love this second one. I've never mixed angel cake with with anything and I can see that being so versatile. I was just thinking about pineapple and nuts! The dump cake sounds delicious too.
The sprite works really well in that cake, it seems to lighten up the texture. The angel food one is about as easy as you can get. I have done it with pineapple and coconut, nuts would be good too!
Hi Alicia. I have used the cake mixes for cookies and dump cakes but your recipes are new to me so I saved this video so I can make them later. Thanks for sharing my friend. Have a great day.
Alicia, I have been collecting a lot of your recipes. They all look so good!! I really appreciate that you're sharing all of these. It really helps to have recipes that are tried & true, especially ones that are kid friendly!
Hi Angie! That Angel food one is so good with a lot of different pie filling flavors and it doesn't get any easier! Thanks for watching, hope your week is going well!
All of these are very interesting Alicia. Cool use of sprite! Sometimes I put sprite in beer batters or to thin out egg based sauces . Nice touch with the chopped pistachios on the cake. Looks like a nice treat.
Hi Ryan, good idea on using sprite in beer batters or egg based sauces! I never thought of that! It definitely works well in that cake too! Thanks for watching and have a great weekend!
The pistachio looks so delicious, it's been a long time that I had pistachio! The 2 ingredient cake looks so yummy & easy! The berry cake looks so delicious also! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Hi Karen! We love pistachio flavored things so that one is probably our favorite! They are all good though! Thanks for watching, I hope you are having a good week💕
This looks good bet the sprite keeps it light and fluffy, wow super simple two ingredient cake and cherries yum 😋,yum berry dump cake, they all look delicious I think my favorite is the berry dump cake 🍰 have a great day
Wow, these all look delicious, Alicia and they are so quick and easy to make!! I'm having a hard time deciding which one to try first! But, I think I'm gonna have to give that pistachio cake a try super soon! 🍰🤗
Thank you, Marcelle! I like to have easy desserts like these for when I have a sweet tooth but don't want to spend a lot of time making something. Thanks for watching!
Hey Alicia, As always, really enjoyed this video! So many great pudding ideas! Slightly drooling now however 😂 that pistachio cake looked amazing! Hope you’re having a fab week, and looking forward to the next video! Xx
Hi, Alicia! Wow, all of those desserts look amazing! The first cake definitely reminds me of my Watergate Cake recipe. Yours has actual pistachios, so that is nice. The lemon lime soda goes surprisingly well with the pistachio. I was shocked! The cherry cake looked really good. Loved the color: perfect for Valentine's Day The berry crumble was good as well. Loved the purple color of the filling...you should use the other half of the bag to make a pie, haha Thanks for sharing!
Hi, Parnell! The sprite works surprisingly well in that cake, it makes it really moist and it does taste good with the pistachios! The cherry one is about as easy as it gets and the berry crumble is good stuff! One of these days those berries are going to make it into a pie! Lol Thanks for watching, my friend!
Hi, Alicia! These desserts look so yummy and I haven’t seen any of these before. That was so interesting you used sprite for the first one. That was definitely a new one on me. 😊 It looked so light and fluffy too. The angel food cake mix was a surprise. I didn’t know you could put angel food cake mix in a regular baking dish.😄 Then you add pie filling to it.🤯 Mind blowing! I feel like I have been living under a rock!😆 The third cake looks amazing as well. Especially with all of those berries. All of these recipes have very few ingredients and look so easy to make. Fantastic share my dear friend. I need to find some gluten free cake mixes now. Or learn to make my own.😆😆 Wonderful recipes as always. Happy Wednesday. Many blessings to you. Have a beautiful day dear.🥰❤️❤️🌻🌻
Hi Michelle! The sprite works so great in it, I was really surprised when I first saw the recipe that it would work so well! The angel food cake mix and pie filling is about as easy as it gets, I love that about it. They have a lot more gluten free cake mixes now than they did when I was gluten free which is nice! Thanks for watching sweet friend! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Hugs🤗💛🌞💖
OMG - I just stumbled upon your channel today and I am obsessed and have been binge watching your videos for hours! You definitely have one of the best channels on You Tube. I am obtaining so many great meal ideals! I was a long term WW member but now just trying to count calories and reduce my carb intake! Would love it if you could include calorie content for the foods you prepare but certainly realize that would require more time and effort. At any rate, just wanted to let you know you gained another subscriber today and thanks again for all the awesome WW food ideas!! I am thoroughly enjoying your channel !
Thank you so much, Lori! I really appreciate it! Unfortunately when you use the recipe builder to create a recipe in the WW app, it doesn't give you nutritional values like calories, carbs etc. It just gives you points so I don't have the info to share🙁Thanks for watching and Happy Friday to you!
You're welcome!! I also used the flavored sparkling water but only 12oz since I was adding the gelatin. My favorite was orange bc it reminded me of orange sherbet🙂. Enjoy your journey!!
Just tried the angel food cake with cherry pie filling tonight. I have to admit, it's insanely sweet. Maybe the kids would like it, but over-the-top for me. Super simple to throw together though.
FYI, I just looked at the box and there are 23 g of sugar per serving. Yikes, that's crazy. I was going to try the spice cake mix, and pumpkin purée, but even that has 18 g of sugar per serving. I'm used to eating things like yogurt that has Stevia for a sweeter, and those are 2 g and about 80 cal. I like the ones from "two good". And please don't take my criticism as anything to do with your efforts! Fantastic job on the videos. All of them are very well done. I've uploaded a few myself, and I know how much time and effort goes into things.
The cake mixes do have a lot of sugar. I have used the sugar free ones here and there but they aren't my favorite. I tend to like to use real sugar in baking if I can get away with it for my own personal reasons but I know a lot of people like the sugar alternatives. You can always use a sugar free vanilla cake mix and add pumpkin spice to it to make your own spice cake mix. That works pretty well! No worries, I am totally fine with constructive criticism. I by no means am a chef, just someone who loves to cook. I learn new things every day and get a lot of great ideas from my viewers, which I appreciate!
I have only used the sugar free a couple of times and it does save a lot of points but that isn't worth it if it causes those issues! Thanks for letting me know, Julie!
New to your channel and loving all your recipe vids! I’m on WW Blue plan but I’m also avoiding sugar. Do you happen to know what the points values would be with a sugar free cake mix? Thanks and pls keep posting recipes! So helpful and entertaining! I made the cheeseburger bombs the other night and hubby raved about them. ☺️
Hi Faith! I just figured the pistachio cake and the berry dump cake with the sugar free cake mixes and they both come in at 5 SP a serving. I don't think there is a sugar free version of the angel food cake mix, at least not that I can find. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the cheeseburger bombs, we love those. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much! It was very sweet of you to figure that out for me. Please keep doing your excellent recipe vids! I am working my way through all of them and taking notes. It’s so much easier to stay on track when you have lots of new recipes to try! ☺️🥰
Did I miss the soda details? In the beginning you mentioned you needed 2 and a half cups of soda. How much was in the cake, and how much in the frosting, for the pistachio cake?
Hi Angel, it is 2 1/2 cups for the cake and 1 cup for the frosting. I list all the ingredients and instructions for the recipes down in the description box of all my videos. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
I think the different brands of cake mixes are really similar when it comes to points but they can vary sometimes so I always run the points on them before using a different brand!
