Playa Puerto Nuevo - This beach also known as Balneario de Vega Baja, and it’s the perfect place to spend a fun day with family and friends. Characterized by its beautiful golden sand, and a shallow pool where kids can swim and play, this beach is unique. There is a large limestone wall that protects the pool from waves and gives the beach a beautiful shape. This beach has been awarded the blue flag for clean waters for 2021!
On this beach, we had an amazing encounter with some sea creatures, what an incredible experience!

Los Tubos Beach in Manatí:
Los Tubos Beach has a beautiful long coastline where you can have a stroll and enjoy a nice evening. Because of the strong currents it’s excellent for surfing. Los Tubos is not a swimming beach, but it’s a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the view.

Mar Chiquita, Manatí:
Located in the north coast, Mar Chiquita is one of the most popular natural pools in Puerto Rico. The beach is shaped like a huge shell or a half-moon, giving this place very distinctive scenery.

Too many memories come to my mind when I was 20 I spend a lot of afternoons and weekends on those beaches mar chiquita was my favorite, when I get married I hook my wife too now we live in Ga. mountains it makes me wants to go back. Thanks

@@natalieandgabriel I do not have a favorite one as of yet. I’ve only been to a a few in PR. The one in Condado, Cabo Rojo and there is another one I’ve been to but unfortunately can’t remember the name right now 😔 I need to go more often to the island so I can visit them all. 😉😘

Can't wait to go back to Puerto Nuevo on a day with clearer water and get some even better sea turtle videos!! When swimming with sea turtles, it is important not to put yourself between a turtle and its source of food or air (don't hover above them - you could bully them into not taking a breath when they need to!) Turtles each have their own personalities - some are shy and some are very trusting of humans.

The turtle in this video is an endangered green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas). Puerto Rico is also a nesting site for endangered leatherback and hawksbill sea turtles :D

Hi, my family and I are going to Puerto Rico in mid August. I have family in Anasco, but we’re planning on staying in Cabo Rojo for a few nights and Viejo San Juan for a few nights. We really want to see Buye Beach & Playa Sucia. We’ve never spent time in the southern part of Puerto Rico,. We want to go to the bioluminescent bay at La Parguera. Hi!! I like to start at the far left corner of the marked swimming area (where the ropes are) and then slowly swim back and forth in that area. Remember grass = turtles and if you're patient, you'll find them!

What's that obsession with wearing a mask? Even when taking to your partner holding a camera :)) You girl constantly eat unhealthy 'foods' clogging your arteries but you are afraid to breathe? Masks don't work. Make a research like you did about PR, please. People forgot to use the grey matter called 🧠. I am sorry to make a comment like that. I really enjoy your trip around the island but it really 🐛 🐞 me to people unable to use a common sense. Good diet gives you immunity not mask & jabs

Gabriel here, the reason is that in many places that we visit, it's still a requirement to use a mask inside their premises, so we are abiding by their rules, when we are outside, sometimes while we are recording, people are walking close to us so she keeps it. Another reason is that sometimes we just forget we have the dang mask on, so, as you can see, this is not about not using the brain, it's about following the rules while we are doing our videos, sadly we can't please everyone but what we can do is follow the rules as long as we are doing videos in public places, even if we don't agree with the EO's. Common sense is understanding that every person has opinions and being able to respect their beliefs and wishes. Also, when this video was recorded, it was a requirement the use of mask in public spaces. Have a nice day.
