For my first experience with Vieques, my son was young, and we were looking for a calm beach. My wife is intimidated by waves so she wanted something calm, too. The parador where we were staying recommended Media Luna. Not only is it calm, but it stays shallow for a long ways out. Luckily next door I found Playa Navio which I got to enjoy some waves and a cool cave. I'm a sucker for a beach with a cave, and Navio delivered. And to the other side of Media Luna was Sun Bay, which was big and beautiful and totally worth checking out, too. The variety of beaches that Vieques offers is pretty impressive. I'm more of a river/waterfall kinda guy, but Vieques has something for everybody as far as beaches, and is worth checking out ... ESPECIALLY if you are a beach person.
Hi did you stay in vieques? And How did you go to different places did you rent a car? Or is everything included in a tour? Excellent video I can say is the best thanks
Thank you for this experience. During the early 1960's I was there several times with the U.S. Navy Assault Craft Unit 2 and beached in Puerto Ferro Cove at Camp Garcia Marine Base. The island was much less developed than now. Our boat would sail around the south side of the island, past black sand beach, on past green beach to Roosevelt Roads Naval Base. The snorkeling was fabulous and the bioluminescence was amazing. At times we would walk into Esperanza in bathing suits for recreation. Vieques is still on my bucket list to revisit.
Thank you for sharing that beautiful memory!! I can only imagine how gorgeous Vieques was back then and how fun it must have been to snorkel in those pristine waters
Thanks for the video. I'm in PR right now & have 3 weeks unbooked coming up so I'm contemplating Vieques & Culebra. I'm not sure which way I'm going to go but this was a good video.
Thank you! I would say Vieques, and bio bay tour! We also have some ideas of what to do while in Puerto Rico on this video! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oGP6KwqptHA.html Also, if you want to experience good snorkeling without leaving Mainland PR, take a look a Peña Blanca in Aguadilla, it's an amazing place (This video) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iefF9FuIv54.html

Hi, we used the ferry from Ceiba. We had someone in Vieques with a car. There's a few places that rent vehicles and club cars(golf cars) for Ferry tickets, you should go to their website for availability www.puertoricoferry.com/en/routes-schedules/ceiba-vieques/ or you can check in Ceiba ferry port for tickets. They usually sold out quite fast. For cars or golf carts, you can check out viequescarrental.com/st_car/vieques-golf-cart-rental/ Hope you have a great time!
❤️😊🌹🎶🎵🙏✋ Extra Good job🤝😘👍 Wow. Great view, I love to see new places 👍❤️ Great movie 👍👋 Bravo 👋 And I have a new movie from a walk around the city 😊 Yours sincerely, DJ Janusz from Warsaw Poland 🇵🇱😘🎶🎵🙏✋
Wow so many beautiful beaches. Punta Arenas, that's awesome. ❤🧡😍 I'd like to go to PR someday and enjoy their beautiful climate and culture. Thanks for this sharing. Enjoy your road trips. 👍😍😊😍
We are so grateful! Punta arenas is one of the most gorgeous beaches we have visited! Hope you can visit and enjoy this paradise! Thank you so much for watching and your support!
Hi! We appreciate so much your comment! As a small channel trying to grow, we are so happy to get comments like yours that encourages us to keep going! Thank you 😊
Muchas felicidades.
Great video! We are planning our trip there so this was very helpful! I definitely want to see Punta Arenas, it was not even in my list of places to see there before watching this! Great snorkeling! Did you see any of the non-beach spots? I want to see the hacienda ruins and the huge ceiba tree and look for the hidden bunkers too. Hopefully I will be able to make a beautiful video like yours.
Hi, thank you so much for your nice comment and for watching. Sadly, We only did beach related activities on this trip but I'm sure that you will have a great time on any adventure you do. Punta Arenas for snorkeling is amazing! We are sure you will do an awesome video and we would love to watch it!! Once again thank you so much!!
Ah lucky you, you are living THE LIFE! 💗 You were beach hopping at different beaches with different terrain. Hope you stayed in one beach one day at a time ;-)
Thanks!!! Yes, we could totally stay all day at each place snorkeling!! We were a bit on a time crunch so we were at each beach about 2 hours. Every time we go back to Vieques we go to Punta Arenas to search for turtles 😀😀
Hi, we had someone that took us around the island, but the most common and easy way to move in Culebra is renting Golf Carts. They are everywhere!! Thank you for watching!
Beautiful place, thanks for sharing. Great movie, I really like watching new and interesting places. You have an interesting channel, so I'm staying and watching. Big like, stay connected, greetings 🙂
It always makes me pause in amazement when I hear that there are only 5 biobays in the whole world, and 3 of them are in Puerto Rico ... including the brightest of all. What the heck!? I've experienced Mosquito Bay several ways, and my favorite was the one that we did in kayaks.
Pro tip for Playa Negra. Bring a magnet or collect a little bit of the black sand to bring back with you. The black sand is magnetic and fun for the kids (and adults) to play and/or craft with. We Brought some back and made a little tabletop Zen garden with the black sand and included a couple magnets in there along with seashells we collected and the normal little rakes and tools. Really cool
Hi, May I share the most important news you will ever hear? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
I visit Puerto Rico frequently, but haven’t been to Vieques. I was looking for some information before visiting and this video was very informative. Thanks!
That is a beautiful comment and make us feel so special. That is what we know about Puerto Rico! Huge hearts and welcoming people. 🙏 we are so happy to have your continuous support ❤
That's a very nice video 😍😍. Loved the snorkeling part so much specially that star fish 😀😍😍😍. Keep going my friends 💪💪💪. Looking forward to the next adventure ❤️❤️
Saludos!
I guess it depends on your personality if you would find it stressful. The port is super dirty and muddy and disorganized, and the ferry is always super crowded and noisy. Plus if you get at all seasick it will not be fun. I think it was mostly stressful at the time because of covid
Thank you so much! It was stressful because of how many ppl trying to get into the ferry at the same time disregarding social distancing. Apart from that, it was smooth sailing ⛵. Hope you enjoy the beautiful island of Vieques and have a great time! Enjoy your vacation!
Hi, You can use a transportation service from San Juan To Ceiba, and tell them the date you are coming back from Vieques so they can pick you up. There's also the possibility of renting a car and leaving it on the Ceiba Port, but i believe it's not safe to leave a car there overnight. You can also use Taxi services to get to the port. From San Juan to Ceiba is about 1 hour and 20 minute drive. I've seen some companies that provide this service, so if you want, i can share them with you.
@@natalieandgabriel Thanks so much, renting a car is not an option, no cars availalbe, taxi maybe the way to go but open to car service if you have any to reccomend
www.luquillotaxi.com try that one.. if you want some phone numbers of a private drivers that do that kind of service, let me know, visit our FB page and i can send the info via messenger! We hope you enjoy your trip!!
I want to see you in pata prieta beach. Is hidden also has a dessert like Forrest with saguaro 🌵. I loved that one too. I enjoyed your video. Ven otra vez!
Hi! The ferry is safe. Do you have a plan for transportation once you get there? The Vieques ferry does not allow rental cars so you would have to rent a car on Vieques and bring a car seat. I don’t think the públicos (taxi buses) in Vieques would be very safe or easy to deal with a carseat
@natalieandgabriel thank you for this recommendation. I have actually already been to both of these beaches and was looking for something I have not been to yet; so now looking into Puerto Nuevo in Vega Baja as an option.
