The Splatoon games have a lot of mysteries and spooky lore in some places if you go deep enough. With it being close to Halloween, I wanted to highlight 3 spooky Splatoon Theories which I wanted to add my ideas onto. These 'unsolved' mysteries are very interesting and there might be some you did not even consider.

2:17 from what I remember hearing, dedf1sh did not in fact want to be *fully* sanitized. If I remember correctly, they only wanted to be sanitized partially (and yes, so they could lose all the bad feelings and just focus on making music). I haven’t finished the video yet so idk if you already mentioned this theory but I remember hearing a fan theory that the song #8 regret was about the regret they felt afterwards

well, what i heard about Dedf1sh was that she never knew she was gonna be sanitized. It turned out that the Telephone offered her a job as a DJ, erase all bad feelings, and to let her go to the surface afterwards. But later on, she realized that she had been tricked, and he sanitized her.

For the sounds: I saw a theory that the bosses we here the audio are the octolings, octarians, etc getting grinded up by the phone in the deep sea metro

In octo expansion in splatoon 2 when you go in to the blender u hear voices saying “don’t go in there!” And “nooooooooo” maybe those are the 100007 people that got killled

We still hear the mysterious sounds even on Splatoon 2 We get them from make noises because inklings below try to escape from Octolings and mysterious laughter from the statchus being cursed with called "scared giggling" in boss spawn point we also have it in Splatoon 2,3

I think Splatoon 1 came out when I was seven, Once I was playing it because my mom bought it for me and it was like during a splatfest and I heard them laughing. I haven't touched my Wii U since

My theory is that a grieving parent somehow connected the spirits of their dead children to the statues to still hopefully be with them again..... but they get no answer, therefore thinking it did not work.....and you can see, at night is when the children's spirits are awake

we having early Halloween vibes but it's splattoon but dang the statue's laughs are giving me Child's Play vibes and more horror games/movies- 😩🖐 but I have a theory on the sounds I think it's the screams of octarian souls dying, past agents that their souls are crying for help or souls that are trapped and they need help-

when my brothers and i heard the screams in the creepy noises after finishing the Octo Expansion, we realized the screams that you hear from the Telephone while he's turning into a blender match the ones you hear at the Octo Stamp battle stage

This isn’t a spooky thing but the first time I saw the octo maw was on a Zackscott thumbnail and I kid you not, I thought that the Octomaw was a garden warfare chomper so my dumb kid brain thought that there was a splatoon x pvz splatfest, maybe in splatoon 3? Plants vs Zombies vs Gnomes?
