Yes. As a genealogy researcher that is so true. Never met a great great grandparent. I knew about 10 great grandparents and their siblings, but I was too young to think to talk with them. Even as a family descendant I know their official basic info but no idea what they were really like.

I can relate, since my once, deeply wounded mother was intensely controlling. I learned on my journey that whenever any of us are in a controlling mode-to whatever degree-it’s because we don’t feel safe within (often due to childhood traumas); hence, there’s a strong need to control our outer environment. However COMMA that doesn’t excuse manipulating and/or controlling others in a mistreating way. As an adult, I learned about INNER True Love, to unconditionally love more and more (ultimately neutral) aspects of WHOLE Self/self (Soul/physical self)… to include remembering my Divine Self/self-worth, and further developing and maintaining: IMPORTANT healthy boundaries, self-compassion, self-forgiveness (for not standing up for self in the past as an adult), self-respect, self-esteem, self-encouragement, self-upliftment, self-empowerment, self-inspiration, self-confidence, and all other parts of invaluable self-love. I DECIDED to protect myself-that I later learned was protecting my inner child-from ANYONE who DARED to mistreat or abuse Self/self. To my great surprise-though it took LONG-@$$ 50 years-my mother seemingly transformed into another version of herself who became respectful, genuinely kind, and overall pleasant. From a multidimensional (Soul level), expanded perspective, I fully trust that she began to MIRROR🪞to me my own INNER transformation 🐍🪲🐛🦋 (like the profound wisdom of The 7 Essene Mirrors of Relationships, gratuitously and eloquently taught by Gregg Braden). So the saying is true, that we cannot expect so-called others to respect and/or like-let alone UNconditionally love-ourselves, if we’re not even willing to do this for ourselves. I used to run away from certain fears (to include avoidance)-especially related to my mother-but once I decided to further FACE MY FEARS… I was able to receive invaluable gifts 💝, especially THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE OF ALL…. What is the right thing to do that won't hurt others but will bring about good results. Being mindful, like stepping into other people's shoes to try to understand them (compassion/empathy), allows people to grow in maturity and have self-control in situations.

My half -sister felt so guilty after her sister, my other half, actually committed suicide by fire from the guilt after all was said and done. Ridiculous. All over money. Now her 3 daughters have no mother all over greed. Much wisdom in this message. Grateful for your time, Mr. Hopkins🎉

Sometimes, it takes tragic things to knock off the nonsense. I don't believe a loving God punishes our souls when things like this happen. Maybe I just tell myself that. Who knows. I will always watch over those girls. It takes time for sure. So many human emotions I didn't know even existed. I only wish people would learn to listen more closely to others with authenticity. Meds can only bandaid so much. Thank you for your kind words. I did notice the "IS." It's si weird because just a few days ago and thought to myself that it really IS my responsibility to take care of those girls. She was always trying to protect me from the eldest. I don't think he was advising people to bankrupt themselves but to be sensible. There is no point in hording money to the point you can't enjoy any of the good things in life, like a meal out with friends or the occasional concert, a nice dress, etc. What is the point in dying rich having scrimped, penny pinched and lived like a pauper all your life? 😊

Easy for him to say being a very famous, rich, successful actor, but not everyone has the luxury of spending $100 on dinner one night or a $1,000 trip. Money is easy in Keynesesian economics land. In most places, money comes hard. Deferred reward ensures success. I went to the best restaurants as a young man. I lived in the best environment, though it was a financial burden. I learned to cook good food, and dropping over the Summit on Highway 17 every night, Santa Cruz air was like food. But, I could have been much better Leveraged had I saved diligently.
Wellsaid that's why they hate me due to this is my mindset and I spent everything I have earned last 13 years of my work career on myself acutely but my mindest is always ,honest /positive /kind to everyone...and noone can stop me from doing what I want .

i can not do the second one. i have little to no money but back when i did have some i was open with it. did not give to street bums. (seen way to many fakes) i have tried to give of my self when possible. it has paid me back very well.
