Another reason is she feels she married down because SHE ALLOWED Chad to use and abuse her, but he wouldn't commit. But you received her, and she is taking out her resentment toward you/all men. Driven by her low self esteem she will always compare you to Chad. who was wise enough to reject her.

Om already gone emotionally and physically from my verbally abusive wife. Unfortunately i cabt go anywhere else because i don't have money for renting another apartment

Don't give up. There's books that can help. Workout. Be in nature. Try to find joy in life. Your not hopeless.
