This has been my go to pain relieving and tightness reducing practice for months now. I'm recovering from a knee replacement and doing PT for back pain every other day. This has become my eagerly anticipated off day practice. Thank you!!!!

Thank you for another wonderful practice. Enjoyed but for me, the breath audio was a bit distracting as I enjoy the focus I find when I listen to my own breath - which also helps me be more meditative in my practice. Thanks again

What a luscious, grounding, and expansive practice. I did this in the morning, and the relaxed spaciousness it created allowed my energy to rise, and I feel so much better as I head into the rest of the day.

Thanks for the lovely comment, Stéphanie! From a functional yoga perspective, Supta Baddha Konasana can be considered a variation within the Straddle archetype (aka Dragonfly archetype), targeting the groin. For some people, SBH is an effective groin stretch; for others it's not. I have never sequenced SBH as the primary pose in a functional yin yoga practice, but I might offer it as a variation when I'm sequencing a groin stretch like dragonfly or frog. I have, on the other hand, sequenced butterfly at the wall with good results.

Yes they are! However, the lymph system tends to benefit more from gentle repetitive stretches rather than static ones. You can find several flow yoga, yang yoga, and somatic yin yoga practices on my channel.
