Good morning Sweet darlings, Happy Memorial Day , it is May 29th 2023 @ 7:47 am . I'm still very tired but I'm so glad that I was able to complete this practice. It's really hard sometimes because of my liver disease. But , I refuse to give up. I wasn't able to do yoga for a loooong while , at the beginning stages of my illness, because I was so weak and filled with fluid , my muscles atrophied . So , im doing everything I can to rebuild. I usually do yoga with Adrienne, but I'm looking around to see what else is out there. This has been fun , thank you so much. challenging, energising & affirming !!! oh yesss especially the warrior 3 sequence was a challenge, i could feel my heart racing after the first side and negative thoughts of not "doing it right" but i greatly appreciate the centering breaths we took after. The mini recess gave me the space to challenge these thoughts - i also had a eureka moment and realised that just like on the mat, I can do hard, difficult things off the mat as i take imperfect action. thanks to your chakra teachings and holistic yoga, i'm learning to live intuitively with what me body wants and needs. i have so much gratitude for this channel and your mission, thank you so much Allie

This was my morning practice for today. For some reason I haven't been doing any Warrior poses in a while, so it was really nice (and challenging!) to reconnect. Also love that you gave us so much time to prepare for savasana, it gave me the opportunity to get my warm socks on - really nice in the cold Swedish winter! My affirmation was "MY BODY IS ELECTRIC", a bit inspired by Walt Whitman. Thank you Allie 💜

Hi Allie! I just want to say thank you for your work! I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and have not kept up my yoga practice consistently throughout my prenatal journey due to just not feeling well. In this last phase before I bring this baby earth side I have found a very strong desire to really get into my body through yoga. I so needed this full body practice today and was able to do it with appropriate modifications which I have learned through many teachers over the years including you! I have learned to connect with my body and intuitively know what it needs and make those modifications. You are really good at teaching and supporting a practice with modifications to make it individual as well as providing a whole body experience. Thanks for being you! and sharing your work! namaste

Just had a question whether I can perform the Kundalini Chakra Pranayama from one of your earlier practices immediately after performing this Chakra flow? That was very nice Allie. It seems one side is more comfortable to do warrior 1 than the other, is this normal? I can only square the hips when my left leg is in front, but when I do warrior 1 with the right leg I can't hold the square hips very much. Any tips on this? Or perhaps is there an exercise to help them open or square? 🤔💛
Hi Motita! Thank you for stepping on the mat with me and sharing what you found there. Being more tight on one side is completely normal. However, it's very difficult to provide advise on this platform, as I cannot see your body in motion or know it's history. Please be easy and gentle with yourself, explore about 60% of your efforting on the mat and come out of any postures that create sensations of pain, impingement, or compression. 😊
