How does a .308 make it beyond 1 mile effectively? Rex demonstrates the use and application of proprietary ELR (extreme long range) peripheral equipment and ammunition.
The TACOM HQ Charlie Tarac magnetically attached prism device is an optical accessory that adds from zero to 1,000 MOA (or 300 MILs) of elevation adjustment to scopes instantly without having to change your rails, rings, cheek piece, or 100 yard zero and enables you to shoot with full magnification. Each Charlie is preset to an exact MIL or MOA (true not shooter's MOA) value custom to each order.
The Steyr SSG 08A1 is one of the finest factory sniper rifles ever made, standby for full review soon.
The TROM FLIGHT SUPERSONIC 7.62×51 round utilizes multiple patent pending technologies related to flight dynamics to give rise to the most accuracy and precision at distance for the 7.62×51. They remain dynamically stabile well, beyond the max supersonic range of the bullet. These are precision made and individually inspected bullets of the utmost quality which translates to incredible consistency from shot to shot and lot to lot.
The Accuracy Solutions BipodeXT TAC III, provide the ability for the shooter to extend the resting point (fulcrum) beyond the muzzle of most rifles, thus reducing the point of impact shift caused by unintentional movement at the toe of the rifle system, during the climax of the firing sequence. It make aiming stability much easier to attain quickly in the field.
Enjoy!
Thank you for your donations to the Rex Reviews Project! We hope these videos continue to be a great help to you all.

Got a Sig763DMRv.1 w/.308 exchangable to a fancy 🤑 higher caliber Grendle round that's got better projectile stability at long range. $till accessorizing the front. Was real surprised how damn much weight was up front. Hangs a lot different than a light woodstock rifle. Seeing the one in the video, I think that's the first thing I need to change out/acquire. Time to put my new girlfriend on a diet, right from the start. Top-heavy. As an inventor, I've taken some interest in reducing recoil and looking at what kind of technologies / gun components handle the "fire-hose of force". Developing a front end barrel mount device that's universally adjustable. I think better recoil "balancing" could greatly improve the homing time b/t shots and solve the problem of variance in shouldering. Imagine how much that would improve the capability of entry-level riflemen & recruits. 🤨

@pieterveenders9793
@pieterveenders9793 4 года назад
At what kind of ranges do you shoot with your AR-10, and what kind of parts did you use? I always thought that self-loading rifles shine in target rich environments or for rapid follow-up shots, but much less so at very long range shooting when compared to bolt-action rifles. But the advent of AR-10's in much more suitable long range calibers such as 6,5 Creedmore definitely changed that a lot.

Achieving balanced flight is paramount to getting this task done when doubling the max supersonic distance your cartridge can produce. Everything has to be perfect in both the projectile and the internal ballistics of the system sending it into flight. Then, you need proprietary equipment to gain enough elevation adjustment to get your sights on the target. Prism devices like the TACOMHQ Charlie Tarac can add as much as you need. The final challenge is delivering a sound shot from a stable platform in the field, Accuracy Solutions with the TAC-III is very helpful. Crazy things can happen when you make sure every link in the chain is strong.

@JerryWDaviscom
@JerryWDaviscom 5 лет назад
@@3vil3lvis I think the TROM cartridges shoot pretty flat. It would be very cool to see the trajectory of a .308 / one mile hit on a 40" target graphed in a slide. I suppose that the top of the arc would be where the crosshairs are. One mile is a heck of a shot with a .308 on such a small target. What was the drop, TR? In feet.

After watching him shoot again, I had to follow his lead. Found a new Styer SSG Pii today, and pulled the trigger on it. I remember back in 1986 while stationed in Germany, drooling over those in the Rod and Gun Clubs. The cost was too much for me as a SSG in the Army, probably $1,500. I’ve wanted one ever since then, well 34 years has been long enough. Now, to get the correct scope and mounts. No rings for my S&B PM2 5X25, that would be perfect in my book.

There is a spectrum of biological input one can employ to control the rifle. One needs to know how to modulate the scale between free recoil and full recoil management. I would also try the Berger 200-20X bullets. They have one of the highest BC's of bullets in the 200g weight. I would trade the BC and weight for velocity. Shoot them around 2,750. They will leave muzzle slower but tend to retain velocity further down range.

Jez what all are you going to strap on to that rifle. I could hit target with a 22 with open sights.

I made my own from a thick hiking sock and teddy bear filling. Its light as plastic pellets but the pellets are not round and lock together like sand will do when compressed

My setup is a Weatherby Vanguard SUB-MOA factory certified 30-06 with a Swarovski 3-10x42 mounted with Tally rings. $2,400 hunting rig that'll pull 1/4" groups at 100yds all day
