Indians & Pakistanis both should realise that Jammu & Kashmir will be free one day or another. It's them to realise how long they are willing to hold the land just to satisfy their own egos. Both the countries should remove their armies from the land & let UN hold a Plebiscite & let Kashmiris decide their own fate. Both the countries spend half of their budget on defence instead of development just because of this piece of land. Focus on Hunger Index, HDI first. And not on this British left last attempt of divide and rule among South Asians.
Even with current economy India can sustain military hold in Kashmir indefinitely. Yes there is poverty in India far greater than Pakistan but Indian leadership is/was never bothered. So the principal question remains, why should India give up it's hold on Kashmir? Hence the stalemate !

A critical analysis of Indian military strategy & trainings. Only missing to mention the aftermath of removal of 370 & converting to union territory as it is mentioned in previous video, that is the main root cause of indigenous insurgency as Pakistan is busy with internal things & TTP menace from west! It is high time for India to bring a trade agreement for all its neighbors just like NAFTA & then India will enjoy acceptance from all sides & don’t need to worry about its neighbors especially Pakistan & trade route till Europe will be opened too! If India grab this business opportunity then for sure India will enjoy unique position in Pakistan as this will downsize Chinese influence in Pakistan too!

I fully agree with Mr. Sawhney. I think the same way, too. Internal security, counter terrorist operations and CI ops should be left to the CRPF. The CRPF has been created for that purpose only and is well equipped to deal with these. Involving army in such operations degrades the capabilities of the army. Army should focus solely in combating external aggression. It was also one of the recommendations of the Group of Ministers constituted after the Kargil war that that force which has been constituted for its specific purpose should be doing that only. Like, the BSF, ITBP and the SSB should guard borders only and the CRPF should be doing CI ops and CT ops only.

From 1989 to this day, Indian Army has been fighting a low intensíty insurgency in Kashmir. As a result it must have by now, lost its war waging capabilities. That's what has happened to the US Military after fighting low intensity conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. For any military to retain its edge, Scott Ritter said they have to develop and retain discipline, practice continuously to ensure muscle memory and be focused on their duties. The Kashmir issue is already solved. The files are gathering dust in the F.O of both countries. Now India and Pakistan should solve the solution.😂🤦

We had stopped our ops inside IOK with an understanding that RAW and Indian government will stop its proxy ops in Balochistan and KP for a while. But they didnt. So we continue from where we left. And we love it when India undertimates us.
What we want is all our Kashmiri pandit brothers back and Pakistan and Indian Army out from both sides. Majority of Indians think Kashmiris want to go with Pakistan, never but we want independent Kashmir from both parties.

Sir, I agree, that the counter terror operations have led to a daily toll of death of our soldiers. The Military has been there for so long that now the locals have accepted the terror filled life as normal. It is a stalemate and a waste of young lives. I am unclear when you say that the Indian Army has lost the focus of its primary job of preparing for a hot war. I would believe that regular Army to Army exercises with the other armies would be prepare our army for a hot war. In any case Wars of this century are vastly different. Missiles drones and other long range systems target economic and population centres with deadly accuracy. The civilians are the first casualties rather than the men in uniform. Preparation for a hot war is no longer the job of the Military alone. Ukraine has lessons from the current hot war. The entire economic and social resources are to be directed for preparations for war. Your presentation was quite thought provoking Sir.

He does know the reasons for raising of RASTRIYA RIFLE , It was raising for internal security for security of installation and not counter terrorist operations comprising of 75% of retired soldiers and 25 % of soldiers on deputation under the budget ministry of Home , Gen Gen BC Joshi was persuaded to accept budgeting under Defence instead of Home and then only the backlog of RR raising was permitted and , at the sametime the recruitment of 75 % of retired soldiers was done away.

India is in the way of China grabbing kashmir. If they do, Shahbaz Sharief is in no position to object. My guess is, Kashmiris would really enjoy a Chinese re-education camp, just like their Uyghur neighbours. Clean shaven, no traditional clothes, no religious gatherings are some of the perks under a Chinese regime. Add the relocation of Han Chinese with non halal pork compulsory in restaurants, would make it an ultimate Chinese Switzerland winter destination. India has only delayed a Chinese takeover. Time will tell.
