Seen barrelling down the bank through Axminster station is preserved Southern Railway Battle of Britain Class number 34067 'Tangmere', working the 'Atlantic Coast Express' from London Victoria to Exeter St Davids. The train was then handed over to rebuilt Southern Railway Battle of Britain Class number 34046 'Braunton' and Great Western Railway Castle Class number 5029 'Nunney Castle' to Penzance.
Later on, and seen rounding the curve at Eastcliff near Teignmouth is rebuilt Southern Railway Battle of Britain Class number 34046 'Braunton' and Great Western Railway Castle Class number 5029 'Nunney Castle', working the second part of the 'Atlantic Coast Express' from Exeter St Davids to Penzance.
