In this video I am going to show you how to make a clutch cable for your machine. If you have any questions or comments put them in the box below or send me an email. And as always work safe have fun and keep on Snappen . Jim
That video is so ingenious how you showed viewers how to make a clutch cable instead of having to purchase a new one from a parts supplier. Great video.
Jim when I see this video that really should shut mouth of .... some person saying that you switch machine parts not carefully enough... obviously he did not see this one or just did not go through it all. Bless U Jim your soooo much of help and detailed explanations
Liked, Do you have a video where you show how to install a new clutch-brake pedal. I'm too dumb to make one. But I need to install a new ready to use cable.
Did something happen to your clutch/brake pedal or do you just need a cable send me some pictures so I can see what the issue is send them to my email which is jimsfixitshop@gmail.com Thanks. Jim
It’s Parts Tree.Com. they’re in Texas and they have a great website easy to get through and find what you need. Jim Tell him Jim’s fix-it shop sent you
If you’re talking about the standard cable clamps Ace Hardware or any good Hardware would probably have the very small ones if you’re talking about the black rectangular plastic clamp you would have to get out through Parts Tree.Com and you would need your model number. Jim
Hi Jim! I installed a new blade belt on my snapper, I had to adjust it by lossening it, now that the belt is adjusted my clutch cable is too loose even after adjusting the grommets on the cable. Is there another adjustment I can take up slack? It do loose I’m not engaging the safety switch underneath. Also how do I bypass that switch?
@@Garylee62 I get my parts from Parts Tree.Com. In Texas they have a flat shipping rate of 795 regardless what you buy and if you have your model number you can look up on their website and it will tell you how long your belt should be and you could even buy it from them. Jim
I have a snapper and I was cutting my lawn I stopped cutting and when I tried to cut again the blade that cut the grass wouldn’t cut anymore. As I move the lever so the snapper can cut its very loose and the blades won’t cut anymore. The mower cuts on and off like it should but the lever that tells the blades to cut Once I move it forward it doesn’t engage the blades anymore. What do I do?????
Well there is a lot of variables first what size horsepower engine do you have and do you know what size stater you have there are different sizes that put out different voltage, do you have a voltage regulator on the side of the engine should be a inch and a half square half inch thick black plastic piece bolted to the side of your engine.
