I’d be curious to see how much faster your car is than my stock 2013. It’s got the elite package so u know the cooled seats makes it a bit faster.

2012+ you should be fine, only issues is oil burning. I've read of driveshaft propellor issues for 09-11. As long as it was well maintained, all fluids changed at correct intervals and the gears are smooth as butter you're good. Also, there was a letter sent out to j37a4 owners for a top end rebuild due to the oil burning, so can ask if that's been done. All around an amazing car for all weather conditions, and the ELS sound system is 🔥. Better than the 2015-20 TLX ELS. Worse case you're going to burn 1-2 quarts in between oil changes.

You have every Bolton? From your vids looks like you have only cai, Pcd's jpipe and basemap tune. You have the 3.5l right? 5at or 6 speed manual?

@@grimsinx its a bit confusing. So I had a Type-S 5AT that was exactly as you described but also had UR crank pulley. The last race I posted against the Subaru is my 6MT Type-S(ASM color) which is bolton everything minus intake runners. Since then I have added the ported intake runners and had it re-tuned.

Yah I shifted at 7k for 2 runs, but still lose either way. Time for some pcds and better tune. Then it's a win for sure.

Thanks! Yah the TL with stock Pre cats and no intake definitely drops after 6300, but with full exhaust, intake, and tune it'll pull right to 7.5k also.

In North Carolina you pay taxes so I told them and they said they would mail refund once I registered it. Umm no deal. I didn't trust paying taxes twice and wait to see if they would refund me. There is no spare tires, tools, or back seats, 1/2 tank of gas and lightweight rims. Only thing really without ruining the car was passenger seat, but still would've loss. Just need more power to make up for the weight 🤷‍♂️.

Hmm weird, I almost put dbl the milage since and redline to 7800...still running strong🤞

They say 100 lbs. Is about 1 car length. So I figured one OEM seat was about 70 lbs. Either way, I stood no chance, but now I have PCDS I think it'd be door to door the whole time. Unfortunately, the owner sold this Z and now owns a Golf R.

Haha I wish, but yah on the Z it adds 15whp due to the dual intakes💪.

2.0 liter Turbo engines. Also, for performance on the 4g TL it goes 6MT>6AT>5AT. Just get the new 2021 TLX if you're going to get the 2.0 stinger. TLX is going to outperform it imo.

Revsalot that is proabably because of the electronic gas pedal. There is a delay with the computer, its not as good a cable based throttle linkage

I like the look of the 370z way more plus it's cheaper, but the 400 will be easier to make power for sure.

With stock airbox and exhaust system it dies after 7k lower then would it would be making at 5400. Just the basemap tune, with a real tune I would benefit from revving it out and full exhaust. He sold the car and neither of us wanted to do a dig. Cheaper that way.

You have an 8th gen si, totally different engine those love to rev. Need to open up the exhaust on a jseries a get a good tune to rev past 7k and make good power, especially the j37. Stock fuel cut is 6900.

@@RevsALot yeah I know have the G37 and k&n drop ins... with no tune it gave me 2whp... it just gets cleaner and a tad bit more air than stock... no way in hell would it give you 15 to the wheels with no tune. So this Z had to have re tuned his shit or something man. Don’t believe everyone what they show and tell you lol

It's all for fun, TL stayed ahead all of 2nd..3rd hung good till top of 3rd, and 4th Z kept pulling. Z was slightly modded, stock Z would've been really close. Also, I got more mods now and with a tune I'd pull now.
