Nice truck man , like the stance ! Hey how much do you think a -12 offset will stick out . I currently have my wheels in about 2” in from the fender but im looking to get it flush to the fender if not out from the fender but not much and a tire shop told me that -12 will be just about flush , iv been looking online but i cant get a good answer
@dwreckdunn4824
@dwreckdunn4824 5 лет назад
Agustin Herrera it’s probably right on the money of flush with your fender stock wheels are about positive 12 and my methods are 0 and don’t poke out so it will probably be right on look nice

UPDATE: I took my suspension off and put it to stock height and 285s rub really bad I wouldn’t recommend them without at least a 2in+ lift

D wreck Dunn 285s they rub with the 2inch lift? I’m thinking of getting 285’s I have a set of bolstein 6112 Any words of advise? How is your mpg?
@dwreckdunn4824
@dwreckdunn4824 5 лет назад
Cash Miller they will clear with at least a 2 inch lift so if your bilsteins lifted the truck you’ll be fine and if you have aftermarket wheels with at least a 0 offset but mpg went down about 2 mpg less

D wreck Dunn What about the noise with the 285s? is it really bad comparing to stock tires?
@dwreckdunn4824

Nikele Biondo depends on the tires you go with bfgoodrich ko2s are quite but if you do some sort of mud terrain will

What is the specs on your rims. I'm wanting to go with a -6mm offset
@dwreckdunn4824
@dwreckdunn4824 5 лет назад
I have methods “the standard” that are 0mm offset and 16in I had wheels prior to these that were -6 and they poked out about an inch looks nice good ride and ran 265s and didn’t rub

Nice dude. I have a 2017 Taco that I am doing a Back to the future remake with. Do you have a lift it is the truck stock? I am also starting a new Motovlog with my new Suzuki DRZ400 when this winter breaks, im out here in the Midwest and the winter is brutal.

Adventure Awaits thanks man I subbed to you 👍 ya I currently have a 2.5 inch lift through icon and stock height in the back but the 285s really make a huge difference lifts it up another inch and looks beefy definitely a great size tire for the tacos

Any levelings in your truck?
@dwreckdunn4824
@dwreckdunn4824 5 лет назад
Josue Anguiano I’m running icon 2.5 coils in the front that raise it about 2 and half inches to clear the 285s and stock height in the rear is still fine too no issues and have lots of flex and tires tuck well

Akhil Ghosh 285s definitely dropped the mpg roughly on my truck 2-3 mpg less on the street, highway still pretty good

Akhil Ghosh nice a Lexus! I’m sure the 285s would look sweet on it those come with 275 I think so not much of a difference
