This is a low impact workout, but DONT BE FOOLED! It really whooped my butt and I know you're about to get the same fat burn in like I did! All you have got to do is get up and get moving.
4.5 Mile Fat Burning Indoor Walk | 600+ Calories | Beginner Friendly | growwithjo
Sequence: 40 secs Work - 20 secs Rest

Apple Watch Setting: Indoor Walk
I know its difficult to get your body moving sometimes, but once you start, girl; you're not going to want to stop. Movement has a way of giving
us the energy that we didnt even know we could have.
And that's what we are doing today, were not getting all fancy and getting down to the nitty gritty of what the name of the exercise is, or how many reps and sets...we are simply MOVING together. Thats what you need to do to see your goal happen! Find ways to move daily, and actually enjoy it so that you keep on wanting to come back to it.
This workout is going to challenge you; its 60 minutes in total (including the post-workout stretch), and yes there will be times where you want to stop and quit. In that moment, remember your goal, remember why you are doing this for yourself and you may be able to find the inspiration and motivation to keep pushing.
If its too much, the first, second, even third time around...its okay! Give yourself time! Slowly work your way up to the 4.5 MILE WALK even with some of my other videos from my "walk with jo" playlist.

I’m a guy and for years I’ve been dealing with depression and been in various sports and gyms. A friend told me about your videos, and at first, ngl, I thought it was only for girls but I gave it a try. I just know that this made me feel so much better and I’m definitely going to start following it everyday. Recorded my workout via Apple Watch under Indoor walk, this is what it recorded: Total Distance: 4.69 Miles Active Calories: 790 Calories Total Calories: 903 Calories You should change your name to SHRINKwithjo because GIRLLLL I feel the pounds melting off! I did this workout 3 times a week for 2 and a half months and lots a total of 6kgs 🎉 From 58kgs to 52kgs. I have asthma and usually struggle with any workouts I do. But THIS workout, I somehow could pull through. Thanks Jo ❤️ You changed my life for the better ❤

Started up with this routine again and I have faithfully stuck with it for 34 days now. Usually take one day off out of 7. Down 20 pounds and inches unsure, but I know clothes fit me I couldn't get into before. Love this workout. Thank you

I didn't plan on changing my eating habits, but you'll find you do kind of automatically since you put so much effort into getting fit. If that makes sense. It's what happened to me anyway.LOL I wish you all the best.

6/5/23 this is by far my favorite workout. I stopped at 51:00 and already got 4 miles and burned 625 calories. (Apple Watch) I started with Jo back in March 2022 and I’m down 65 pounds. I swear by her walking workouts!!! Love them!!!!

completed approximately 7,000 steps, and my old Fit Pro watch, purchased in 2020, indicates that I burned 243 calories. I'm a bit disappointed that the calorie burn seems relatively low.

Hello. I am almost 80. I became an addict to powerwalk by leslie when corona made it impossible to go to the gym. After almost two years I was looking for a similar but different exercise program and fortunately found yours. Some of the exercises are a bit fast and too much for me especially when you bend down, but I am enjoying your videos very much. Thank you.

This is the LONGEST workout I have EVER done. I pushed myself with this one and I am so proud. Last week the longest workout I had done was your 52 minute walking workout. I can’t stop telling myself how proud I am of me!! I am so freaking happy. Oh and I burned 680 calories with this workout. So your calorie burn definitely depends on the effort you are putting in.

I just did this exercise today (23.12.23) I am 172cm and 75 kg apple watch - indoor walking Active cal 430 Total cal 521 5 km total and 6323 steps. I always burn less calories than mention in the caption but there is no problem I like the process and how I feel after. I really wanted a break in the video but there was not 😁.

I just finished this entire workout. My apple watch reads 571 Active calories 740 total calories in this one hour period. I paused every 15 minutes for a 2 minute rest but I finished the entire thing. Thank you Jo!

One Sunday afternoon I ran by myself in back road area where there’s not much going on and a guy was walking towards the main rd, he didn’t seem like a threat but I still had to make sure I had my guard up. So I had ran on the opposite of the road just to be safe. That was the last time I ever ran back there. So I just workout indoors now

Please don’t do exercises when you are fasting. Sometimes it can be too bad for health. You can do exercises after suhoor I mean early in the morning and after iftar which means after sunset. Don’t do exercises at the middle of the day while fasting.

This was a first for me!! I usually do 30 min a shot and when I started to do this I actually misread how long it was. I did the whole hour and didn't notice the time. No breaks in between. This was fantastic! Thank you for doing this for us Jo. I appreciate you and all you do!

Progress: I started with Jo's walking workouts on March 23 with 200 lbs / 91 kg. 17th April 21: 192 lbs / 87,5kg 14th March: 189lbs / 86kg (I cheated a little bit with pizza and chocolate lol) (Next comment in June) June 6th : 188lbs 85.5kg😊 July 17th : 185lbs 84,5kg Sorry guys, I had personal problems lol! It's August 28th 2022 now and I reached 165lbs/75kg. I did a workout break in winter but I started again in spring 2022

@@artemis7320 it's different I just do every workout she releases and then I walk everyday in the morning for at least 30min. I don't do any diet, I just stay in a calorie deficit (for me its 1900 calories a day) counting the calories really helps me. I eat everything but less. For example a half pizza instead of a whole.

I have been doing this workout for 2 months now, everyday!! Along with 2000’s dance and 10 mins toned arms! Then after i do a 45 min on my recumbent bike!!! My 4 year old son loves you and your workout!!! Down 40 lbs! 🥰🥰🥰

This is my favorite workout! I’ve added 2lbs weights to this workout and burn over 500 calories, the music is so positive and upbeat, and it is a hour long which is what I need to feel like I’ve worked out for the day. Thank you so much for putting this out into the world, you have had such a positive impact on my life with your workouts. I’m happier, healthier, stronger and in the best shape of my life since I’ve started your workouts last June. I turn 41 today and feel amazing! I started last June at 178lbs and now I am 153lbs. There are a lot more positive changes but that may take a couple of pages lol so I will just say thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤

Just want to say I have been a working out for over 40 years with "at home" workouts. I have done all types. Right now, by far these are my favourite. No down to the floor then back up again only to go back down to the floor. I love your format, the cadence, and your energy. I can see (and feel) why you have so many followers. Keep up the great work and thank you for taking the time to produce these workouts

I'm going to start doing this workout from today onwards for as long as I can. And I will update it here. I'm starting at 102KG. Will weight myself first thing in the morning. 21st July 2022- 101.8kg- Done Wanted to give up but finally after 2 breaks, completed it with my kids. 22nd July 2022- 101.2kg- Done Less motivated but still completed it. 23rd July 2022- 101kg- Couldn't do it as I started having heavy cramping for a long time, took rest and didn't workout. 24th July 2022- 100kg- Done- It was tiring but I got it done. 25th July 2022- 99.8kg- Done- Did Half mark 30mins. 26th July 2022- 99.6kg- Done 30th July 2022- 99.5kg- Done 31st July 2022- 99.3kg- Done 1st Augest 2022- 99.2kg- Done 3rd Augest 2022- 99.0kg- Done 4th Augest 2022- 98.8kg- Done 6th Augest 2022- 98.5kg- Done 8th Augest 2022- 98.4kg- Done 9th Augest 2022- 97.9kg - Done 14th Augest 2022- 97.4kg - Done 15th Augest 2022- 96.9kg- Done 20th September 2022- 96- Done Kind of have hot plateau right now so it's very slow.

I do the same and my legs and arms looks so lean. Also I feel satisfied with my workout if I sweat a lot during and post 😁 I love them walking workouts

Hey Jo I m a mom of a 5 months old daughter Ruth my 1st child and when the pregnancy weight kicked was a shock being always thin and fit at 55kg. I started doing your workouts at 3 months postpartum every day only weekends off sometimes and starting at 73kg now I m 64kg and way to go...I love your workout videos I ve not much time as I m the only one exclusively taking care of my daughter while husband is back to work. However I wake up 1 hour before my baby and train, I feel full of energy and happiness . Taking this 1 hour for myself makes me better for my baby for the rest of the day. It was hard in the beginning now is just part of my life along with a healthy diet no sugar, no processed food, no carbs... You re amazing so positive and praising God. God bless you and your babies. I find that mirror behind her so helpful as sometimes I’m not sure how much I should bend my legs so I just look at the angle of her in the mirror and an clearly see and it helps me do the workout in the best form possible. This is my favourite workout channel. Especially with all the walking and walking workouts and it’s actually something I can enjoy and am able to do and actually finish. It's almost a week now since I've been working out using your videos every morning. Today I was feeling so unmotivated and wanted to quit. But I pushed myself to do it, and here I am!! I pushed myself throughout the whole hour of the workout and I enjoyed every minute of it🥺🥰. Now I feel super good and strong!🥰

An hour goes so fast with Jo!! I love these workouts! I started with 15 mins, then moved to 30, and now I do 45 mins to an hour daily! After trying workout programs and barely losing weight, I've finally found something I love doing and that actually makes me lose weight! Keep it up Jo! (And more 45+ videos would be amazing!!)

When you accidentally put this on instead of the 45 minute one! Nearly turned it off, instead thought I'd go aslong as possible and then stop. I COMPLETED THIS WORKOUT!!!!!! Thank you so much! This is an amazing workout! I'm one week in and feeling the burn! I love this instructor; straightforward, doesn't talk your ear off, and smiles all the time! LOVE her! I'm going to do this workout for a month to lose weight ! I'll be updating my weight regularly. Age: 17 Height: 5'4 SW: 247 lbs 1 Month goal: 237 lbs End Weight: 239 lbs EDIT: Hi! Its been a while since I updated! Its September 17 and I'm currently at 219.6 lbs! I've lost a total of 30 lbs since I started my fitness journey! I still do this video about 2-3 times a week on top of going to school. I wish everyone the best! Day 1: It was definitely really hard to find the energy and willpower to finish the entire video but I did it! I know that the work will pay off so i just pushed through. Day 2: It was easier to do it this time, mostly because I've already been working out consistently for the past 4 months so my body is used to the movement. Obviously results are not visual yet but I felt a huge boost of confidence today ! Day 3: I only got about 20 minutes in and decided I would just follow my upper body workout playlist because i really wanted to feel a burn. Day 4: I took a break from this but I walked for about an hour with my dog and also followed a dance tutorial for a BTS song, to stay active. Day 5: Weighed myself and I'm at 246 which is really good for only a few days of work. Day 6: I accidentally skipped today because I was busy with homework and got distracted from calling with friends 😭 Day 7: I finished the whole video with no breaks! Its getting easier and I recently starting a calorie deficit. Day 8: I'm starting to notice some fat loss in my stomach. Not majorly yet but I can definitely see it! My neck and collar bones are also starting to get more visible. Day 9: I'm at 245.4! Already two pounds lost in a little bit over a week. This would be more if I was able to get some walking in during the day, so take walks if you can! Day 10: skipped lol. I'm gonna get back into the flow again. It's okay to have some setbacks, just make sure to keep going when you're ready! Day 11: It was hard to keep going but I finished the entire workout Day 12: Finished and I've been walking for an hour every day with my little brother so I hope that helps me out! 244.6! Day 13: I did only 20 minutes of this today because I was so exhausted. I still walked and did 2 other home workouts. Day 14: Finished the video. I've gone down to 243.6! I've lost 2 lbs per week! Day 15: Skipped because I was out all day with friends and the walking exhausted me lol Day 16: I skipped today as well because I have muscle pains all over from yesterday ☹️ Day 17: Done Day 18: I'm gonna have to skip for a few days due to heavy flow lol I feel bad for skipping so often and I can definitely see my progress slowing down but I know that Ill be in so much pain if I try to do any movement right now. Day 19: Skipped^ Day 20: Skipped^ Day 21: Week 3 finished! I did the workout and I weighed in at 241.0! I've lost 6 lbs which is amazing. I think a piece of advise I would give to anyone willing to give this a try is to keep your mindset consistent. I did skip days and I did eat "cheat meals" (take out, junk foods, bigger meals) but I always got back on it and didn't put myself down for resting or for satisfying my cravings. Day 22: Great start to the 4th week! I skipped due to a massive headache 🥰 Day 23: Finished and I'm going to try to get through the rest of the week without breaks! Day 24: Finished Day 25: Skipped b/c massive headache lol Day 26: Finished Day 27: Finished. I am not proud of my eating habits right now, as I've been eating ice cream and pudding almost every day and my dad keeps buying fast food for dinner, so I've had issues with overeating and bingeing. I'm going to try to focus more on my fitness so doing these workouts and walking. Day 29: Skipped So I'm actually going to stop doing this workout now because the repetition got boring and I also want to start off with a different workout that targets the stomach. I've lost 8 lbs in one month which is really good because it means I was losing 2 lbs per week. I definitely could have lost more but obviously I skipped a bunch of days, not to mention my eating habits were not amazing half the time. But despite all the setbacks, I kept going and I was only 2 lbs off from my goal, which I know I can reach by the end of this week so no problem. I highly recommend this workout if you want to shred a couple of pounds! Appearance wise, I have lost an inch around my stomach and half an inch on my waist and upper thighs. My face is noticeably slimmer. I also had measured my neck because I realized it was very big compared to my head LOL. I lost about half an inch around my neck. My collar bones are more prominent than when I started and I can feel my waist tightening. Not big differences but I can tell I lost fat in my stomach area. Thanks Jo! Edit* I'm going to continue this for about two more months because school is starting soon and I want to feel my best! SW: 230 CW: 230 1 Month Goal: 225 End Weight: Day 1: Done with only one break in between! Btw, it's easier to complete long workout videos like this when you watch a show/movie or listen to some music! Right now I'm watching Modern Family and I've also gone through most of the movies on my watchlists lol. Day 2: I had to skip because it was my dad's birthday and I had lots of stuff to do. Day 3: Done Day 4: Done Day 5: Done Day 6: Skipped Day 7: Done Day 8: Done Heyyy so I'm going to be switching to another video of jo's thats around 30-45 minites because I want to incorporate other short workout videos into mu daily routine! Thank you for your content, i have replaced walking on the treadmill for your videos because they are much lower impact and I can do them at the comfort of my home and anytime. I've been doing your videos to close to 2 weeks now and even though i didnt notice much change my family that came into town the other day could tell i had definitely lost weight! Your workouts are just what i need for someone that survived a stroke 8 months ago and can move but not completely like my right side does. I wanted to do HITT workouts but the ones i used to do i cant now because of my lack of strength on my left side of my body but your videos make it possible for me to get a workout in. Thank you Jo! Keep going and making your wonderful videos. Also the other day i was feeling depressed and almost didnt workout but i pushed myself to and your video completely changed my mood. I’ve been doing these walking workouts for two weeks and I lost six pounds! 😱 I honestly can’t believe it. I’m so happy I found a workout I can do in my apartment and is showing results fast! I’m so so so happy. Just as an FYI, I’ve only been doing the workouts 5 days a week, and interment fasting (eating between 11 am and 7 pm). I plan on bumping up to six days a week :) Thank you for the amazing workouts !

@@Taniere it’s super helpful! I’m down 28 pounds since I started! I now do the workouts 6 days a week with the intermittent fasting and I drink lots of water. My starting weight was 235 lbs now I’m at 207. It’s hard to believe I even lost that much.

I already did this for a few months last year and lost about 35 lbs, but I want to continue! My goal is to have more energy and confidence, as I'm in my last semester of high school and I wanna have a good ending. I'm going to try and do this workout for about 4 months, while gradually incorporating more workouts onto this one. I'll keep you updated! Age: 18 SW: 213.6 lbs GW: ~180/170 Day 1: I finished but it felt so long 😭 I always watch movies or shows while I workout to make it more enjoyable. Today was La La Land :)

Just completed this pregnant and all!! I wanted to give up at 45 minutes, but I pushed though and made it!! Thanks for all your hard work and dedication Jo!! Keep them coming. Im hoping I can stay consistent so I can lower my body fat like you did!!

I started growith jo about a year ago i lost 76 pounds and got way too comfortable leading to a serious cutback in my workouts so today November 1st I'm back at it and prayerfully with the same consistency and determination i started with !!!

I'm so happy I found your channel! I've been struggling with weight since my late 20s, and now at 30 years of age and 6 months post c-section I needed something to help me get back to moving. This is my absolute favorite workout so far! I can get through the whole thing and the cool down at the end feels SO GOOD! I have been trying to lose weight for YEARS, but I always give up on exercise a week in and go back to my unhealthy eating habits. I have been working out for a little over 2 weeks now and It feels so good and rewarding for the first time in my life. I have already dropped 9 pounds and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Thank you Jo for everything you are doing!
