yes, you read that right! 10,000 steps we are doing together today! Its going to test your endurance, and its going to be intense, but don't you worry I have input some water break checkpoints in there to help you check in with yourself and as a marking point for where you can come back to the workout and try to surpass it!
If you're committing to doing the full 10,000 steps with me today, make sure that you have a cushy mat or shoes to protect your soles. This is a long walk and will take some extra effort from your calves and pressure in your feet.
As always, take this workout at your own pace. I personally like to stay on beat to keep my body moving but if you are unable to follow the beat, its totally okay! Find your own beat, your own style, your own groove!

In the period of Dec22-Feb22 I’ve lost 18lb of weight, 5 inches off of waist and staggering 7 inches off of lower belly. I was eating right and consistently working out with Jo 3+ hours a week. I was doing mostly cardio abs workouts and sometimes strength workouts but with body weight only. I’ve been on a weight-loss journey for few months, but only after finding Jo that I’ve fell in love with exercising! Now I don’t stop and I won’t stop. I’m eternally grateful 💜

First thing I do when I wake up is hydrate and do Jo's 1 hour 17 minutes burn out. I finish it. All of it. I've lost a total of 14.5kg in 3 months. Thanks Jo

@@thatchicktoy for the first week I did it everyday. I put myself on a 1200 calorie diet. At night I did her 34 minute after dinner work out. It was pretty intense.

@@aishulko6169 I am not sick. Infact I have lost an extra 4kg doing multiple workouts still on 1200 calories. I have a 400cal breakfast, a 600cal lunch and a 200cal dinner. Works for me🤷🏾‍♀️

this is awesome! I do it 4 times a week, plus running 30 min on a treadmill before workout in two months I've already lost 10 kg(22lb)!!!! Just wow!!! I have never had such good results with anything else at home. Just unbelievable!

I haven't seen any guys comment here, so I guess I'll be the first. Back in February, I experienced a serious nosebleed incident that required a week-long hospital stay. Thanks to God, I made a speedy recovery and avoided surgery, much to the doctors' surprise. Since then, intensive cardio has caused my nose to run, so I've been cautious. I've always loved walking, but intensive cardio wasn't my favorite. Recently, I discovered Jo and decided to take control of my health. I'm now in my second week and determined not to feel sorry for myself or sluggish anymore. Cheers to everyone on their journey!

So initially I thought “Well I’ll probably do about 30 minutes & see how I feel.” 30 minutes turned into 45 minutes & before I knew it, it said “WORKOUT COMPLETE” & I just could not believe it‼️ I actually completed an hour workout & FELT SOOOOO GOOD!!!! THIS MEANS SOOOO MUCH TO ME because I suffer from a debilitating autoimmune disorder!! Jo….U just don’t know how Ur helping to change my life💕💕💕

I could only do till 16:27.. after that I was out of breath. August 2- could do till 38 mins, a little tired but was feeling good August 4- completed the video with breaks in between... tired August 8- completed the video..i was 89.7kgs....now I'm 87.5kgs

I hope Jo you will see my comment! I started 2.5months back when i was struggling to even exercise for 3mins. I was going through a rough patch in my life, suddenly i started watching your videos and felt so motivated. But once I started in the beginning it was so difficult for me. then slowly I increased the time from 3mins to 5mins then 15 and now I can workout for 1hr. Best workout!! It's fairly low intensity w very little plyo movements. I didn't walk 10k steps (I averaged 7k) BUT I BURNED 700cal!!!! I was able to maintain a "fat burn" heart rate the whole video. Will 100% be doing this workout again!!

I’ve always felt so insecure showing my arms but the other day I finally felt confident wearing a tank top!!😭😭 I’ve noticed such a huge difference doing your workouts since December! my arms are much more toned and my abs are slowly making an appearance!! My first day . I literally don’t do nothing but sit around all day and watch Netflix . Literally ALL DAY . But I’m determined to lose 30 pounds before my birthday . Today i was only able to complete 20 mins . But since it’s my first day being active i won’t be so hard on myself . I’ll be back tomorrow and the aim is at least half . By the end of the week i should be able to complete the entire video . I’ll be doing this for the next 30 days to build my endurance for other workouts

Reading everybody's comments makes me feel so proud of y'all lol Anyway, I wanted to share my story, I hope it inspires whoever reads it. I'm 17, I've been bullied so much in the past, I've been fatshamed by my own mother, father and older sister. When I was 10, I was so insecure in my own body and grew disgusted of it. At 11 I decided I wanted to lose weight, I remember working out with my mom (who also wanted to lose weight) and with my younger sister (who just did it to have fun lol), but it was like a yo-yo effect, sometimes we would just finish eating and my mom would be like "we have to lose weight" and then we'd workout for a week or so and stop for a couple months cause we couldn't make it a habit. Food wise nothing changed, we still ate lots of oil and salt and I had a problem which was that if I knew that no one was watching me I would eat sooo many snacks (the amount of sandwiches and chocolate I used to eat is scary). Fast forward to 5 years later (summer 2020) I started doing some more research, wrote the exact snacks I would eat in a day and did a mix of HIIT, weights workouts and discovered Jo alongside other dance workouts. I still didn't love working out and it was hard to get back to it after a rest day but I saw results. School started and everything went downhill again. I had that yo-yo effect again and the results I was starting to see (more defined abs) went away. Fast forward to October-November 2021, I decided that to get back into it I would only do Jo's workouts and a couple other dance workouts (particularly a dance workout with the music of In the heights that I LOVE). I ended up LOVING working out everyday, and started easing back in into HIITs. Food wise, it's also been better, I found out that with the pre and post workouts snacks I'm usually feeling satisfied enough and I also realized that restrictions only made things worse. I'm starting to see results again, not only are my abs more defined but I'm FEELING GREAT AND STRONGER and that is everything that matters. Moral of the story : I realized the most important thing was to love my body and to feel amazing everyday not just to lose weight. I've been feeling like I'm glowing lately mentally and physically and I'm so happy for the things that are coming. Today I'm choosing health over esthetics. Thank you Jo, your smile and your workouts have made me fall in love with workouts when I needed it the most.

Hello Jo, ive been on my health journey since 12/26/21 and lets just say im down 33lbs in 68days. I found your videos 3 weeks ago and you have been helping me soo much. For those that’s wondering how did i lose the weight. 16/8 Fasting, Clean eating, No fried food, no juices. Only H2O, workout 5-6x a week for 1hr. Meal prep, and portion size control. A lot of discipline, consistency, strength and prayer 🙏🏾 ❤️🏋🏾‍♀️. If you want it bad you’ll do what it takes to become a better you. You can do it ladies and gentlemen.

@@marouabessou9767 hi! i have been eating in a caloric deficit for over 2 years and it has made no difference whatsoever. i have looked into my bmr and i eat rather healthy still. i stopped working out while intermittent fasting and i gained weight; my body is so weird haha! i’m a stay at home wife so i think that has a lot to do with it!

I burned 791 calories 🔥🔥 My weight is currently 220 IBS and Im 4"9. Some of the moves I substituted with her other moves I've done in her other videos, as jumping is hard on my knees. My thing was just to keep moving even if I couldn't perform a certain exercise in this video.

Another great one!! Around six months ago i was doing your workouts almost every day, but then i got sick and needed to go on chemo so i had no energy to do it anymore. But 1,5 weeks ago i had my last chemo and soon i will be starting again and i cant wait!! Will have to take it slow but im looking forward to built it up! Keep them coming Jo!!

I'm almost the same! 168cm and currently at 69.3kg. Do you see some results? When I see people losing 5kg in a week I know it's not possible for us, because it's to big of percentage, but I'd love to hear some realistic results. I lost around 2kg in the last 4 weeks, which feels very slow.

First day done! I’ll be doing Jo’s videos to get ready for my vacation in August. Starting weight 167.8 lbs Height: 5’6 / 168cm Updates July 19 2023: 165.5 July 21 2023: 164.7 July 28 2023: 163.3 October 31 2023: Decided to do intermittent fasting and 10k steps a day. It’s working quite well Jo’s videos definitely help you lose weight but intermittent fasting and what you eat are the most important factors imo. My lower belly has gone down significantly and I no longer look pregnant. My advice to anyone reading is to start now so you have your body right for the summer

My whole life I have hated working out. I felt awful because any workout video I tried, I either couldn’t do half the moves or couldn’t finish the workout. If I did do a workout, it lasted a day or two and then I gave up. Then I found this channel… ❤️ I’ve finally found my place. I went from never working out, to working out 5 days a week. I started at 15 minutes and now I just completed Jo’s hour long videos 2 days in a row. I’m not ashamed to say I cried when we got to the cool down and Jo mouthed “You did it!” 😭❤️

Hi jo i my weight has been up and down my whole teenage years one minute I will be 140 and the next I’m 160 and my body stores most of my fat in my stomache and thighs I’m just tired of not being a stable weight so I’ve decided to do these videos for three days out of the week (Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday) I work in a warehouse and walk close to 14,000 steps the days I have to work so hopefully this will give me some type of results my body has gotten use to my job

Kind of hit a plateau in my weight loss. Going to do this one everyday for a week and see if I can break through it. Update 1: 3 days in and I've lost 1lb already Day 7 update: I definitely broke through my plateau! I lost 7.8 lbs this week which is crazy. I think I'll keep doing this one until I hit my goal weight. Only 7lbs left to go!

Me 49. I feel like a failure 😞. I should have at least pushed through the 50th minute. But I workout in secret on a carpet so that I don’t make noise. Oh wow! I just finished this workout and OMG I burned 537 calories and my watch counted 6,347 steps!! THANK YOU Jo that was amazing!! Def doing this again!!

This is my first time doing an hour long workout in 10 years since my diagnosis with multiple sclerosis and let me tell you I wanted to quit a few times because there are some exercises I can’t do but I always find a way to modify them and I did I am so damn proud of myself thanks Jo ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I am so happy I found you! I’ve been on a weight loss journey for a while now. I was lifting weights wondering why I was gaining weight. I began this workout with the idea of only doing 45 minutes. Without realizing 30 minutes had passed, and then the third check point. I enjoyed it so much that I I couldnt believe when I read workout complete. Thank you again for everything

I've only recently discovered Jo and I just love her attitude and personality. Most fitness videos more me, but she's different and I'm hoping I can stick with it and lose some Covid pounds.

Just finished this workout and it's only 8.30am! Yay! I didn't reach 10k steps for some reason but I still burned tons of calories and have never been so sweaty. (Except when I do other Jo workouts 🤣) Total distance: 7.10km/4.5 miles Active calories burned: 551 kcal Total calories burned: 630 kcal Total steps: 7200 steps Average heart rate: 157 Good luck guys! JO!!!! I wouldn't even have dreamt of doing this until 15-20 minute mark a month ago. After doing your 30-40 mins workouts, I didn't realise how I breezed thru the first 30 mins of this and I was able to complete the entire set almost 95%. I burned 575 calories and I had the proudest smile on my face when you said workout complete! I learned something bout myself today and I'm so so happy. So thank you thank you thank you!

Well I started my growwitjo journey a week ago....I've committed to working out everyday after work for at a minimum of 30 minutes......I love her energy & before I know it it's over. I'm going to attempt this hour power tonight.....if/when I feel like I can't do anymore, I simply walk in place for a while and start back up.....🙏 for me

Definitely a lot of fun, I only got about halfway through before my knee started to hurt and I knew I had to stop for my safety. But I got a little over 400 cals and 4700 steps in that half hour, so I'd say 800 cals is definitely accurate for some people with this workout. Just show up and do your best! Good luck everyone!

Steps during this workout: 6299 Total calories burned: 781 HOLLLYYYYYY MOLYYYYYY I LOVED THIS WORKOUT!!! From the music mix, to ease of doing this for someone with significant lower back and joint pain. It was challenging, but low impact enough for me to do it without much pain. I'm a new mom, I WFH, and am at my desk for most of the day, so this workout was just what I needed this morning before my baby gets up. The last 10 minutes of this workout literally felt EUPHORIC!!! Idk if it was because it was almost over or because I was having that much fun. So so so thankful I found Jo's channel and that its helping me on my journey to getting back to myself. THANK YOU!!!!

OH MY GEE!!! I saw this workout a long time ago and I refused to do it, because I KNEW it would be hard. So I continued to do smaller workouts, but TODAY was the day that I decided to try it. I decided, even if it takes me all day to do it (if I have to break it down bit by bit), I'm going to try it. I just finished this AMAZING workout. I shocked myself by even doing the scissor jumps and the razor jumps. I didn't even know I could freaking jump!! Thank you SO much Jo, for all you do for this community.

Oh Jo, Jo I loved, loved this workout I thought I would not have been able to do it when you said, "this is the WARM UP" I was like - WHAT?!! But I stood the test and passed it. Your exercises have caused me to be so disciplined --- my secret in the mornings is to put on my gym wear as I get up and keep them on until my workout for the day is completed.

I loved this. Perfect for my active rest days. My fitbit says 6,399 steps, 441 calories, and it kept my heart rate in a good range where I was being pushed but not to where I felt like I was dying. This was the first workout video I tried by you and it was very fun and you made me smile 😃

if you're just starting to work out, you don't want to do an hour workout. Try 5 to 15 to start.

if you’re freshly new to working out, it’s better to take baby steps. what i mean by that is starting off small then working your way up to workouts like these. try 20-30 minute workouts first since you say you can only do 20mins only. if you still feel fine/great every time you finish that 20min workout then try adding 10-15 more mins into your workout and so on. of course you don’t need to take baby steps and could just take the full 1h exercise if you have a good enough stamina for it but otherwise try doing this method.

If there was one workout I wasn’t able to finish it was def this one. At first I felt guilty that I couldn’t finish it but towards the last water break when you said it was okay to stop and have a break that just made me feel so much better and reminded me to stop because I knew I was gong to finish the workout to push myself for the wrong reasons. THIS‼ When I say I had a great time doing this, I mean just that. First, let me say thank you Jo for all of your hard work, effort and dedication. It's greatly appreciated! Secondly, I finished the entire workout the whole way through. I felt myself overwhelmed with emotion almost towards the end. During the cool down, I shed tears. Tears of joy that is! Shew girl! Coupla times I thought you were gonna kill me but then I concentrated on my form, saw your smile of encouragement, and pushed through. This is the longest of your workouts that I've done and at 6:45 this morning I was like.. Jo.. I can't believe you got me out of bed this early for this.. only for you. And now I remember why. Okay..... Currently sitting at 105 kg - 230 lbs, 170 cm - 5'7. Been dealing a lot with depression, went through a really hard time and gained a bunch of weight. Posting this to keep myself accountable sort of and hopefully to inspire someone else too if I see results.. 🙏 My plan is to do this every single day, and do leg day training 3x per week - nothing special, just some squats, little bit of strength. Going to cut my calories a lot because I've just been overeating and had a lot of health scares lately.. so I need to do this! Will try to update every month or so!! Good luck to everyone ❤️

you can do this! remember, everybody starts somewhere, so don’t be discouraged or compare yourself to others! it’s all about consistency, and remember, make sure to take rest days! especially when your body needs it! good luck with your journey! i’m so proud of you! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I was doing the same workout for years and I noticed a change but I wasn't consistent. I happen to stumble across your workout and it encourages me to workout everyday sometimes twice a day. 5 months in

@@ladybug99ization 11 months. I also have some medical conditions that have caused my slow weight loss. I started out last year not bring able to pick up my kiddos or go for long walks outside.

I thought I would see how I got on with this tonight, thinking after a day of work and school runs and chores etc I may be able to get halfway through and come back tomorrow..I am going to bed with the biggest smile on my face after completing the WHOLE WORKOUT!! I am so proud of myself!!

I won’t lie I was so nervous to do this! I haven’t worked out for an hour solid since I left school almost 3 years ago now! But I did it all the way through & the stretching video after too! I’m so happy and feel so accomplished! Thankyou Jo for everything you do!

At the 15 min mark I was like oh noooo I don’t think I can do this.. but pushed myself to the 30 min mark. Then I was like “I got this!”.. at the 50 min mark I was like “nah I can’t do this anymore” but then I prayed. I asked God to push me to make it. Next thing I know, “workoit complete”! I cried! I can’t believe I finished the whole thing with no stops (only for water). I have a bad knee and sprained my ankle not too long ago which gives me such problems nearly daily. I can’t stop smiling! Thank you so much for these videos!!!! The weight needs to go and I think finally figured out what will help! Thank you Jo!! May God continue to bless you ❤

i never comment on workout videos but I gotta say this. It's been a while since I didn't have fun doing exercise, especially cardio, but when I do your workouts I always have fun, it's amazing how contagious your good energy is. I feel amazing and i still feel happy even after finishing it, tysm for doing these jo! I'm totally grateful. 💗

Omgosh!!! This workout was killer and soooo fun!!! Loved the freestyle...I can't believe I made it all the way through and even encorparated 8 pound weights at times... I'm so proud of myself, and proud of everyone else doing this workout!!! Awesome job

This workout is total perfection (as are all of Jo's workouts)! The care that Jo takes in constructing these workouts is so obvious -- the pacing, the moves, the music coordination. It results in workouts that ride that fine line between challenging and exhaustion, are fun, and get results.
