40 MIN TABATA?!?!? "ABSURD!" They said...
This workout will TEST you, but i know for a fact that you can do it. IF at any point in this workout, you feel a little overworked or overwhelmed, take a break sis...its okay, it really is. There is no need to overdo it - the results will come if you stay consistent and keep slowly chipping away at your goal. If you do this, your results will be more permanent and sustainable!
Todays’ workout starts with a 5 minute warm up - we will be doing 1 minute for each exercise.
Then we will go into the tabata portion of the workout (the remaining 35 mins). We will be doing each exercise twice. The first round will be a “practice round” and the second we are going to go ALL OUT! You heard me sis, ALL OUT

Been following this weeks challenge and been following a few weekly challenges. I’ve noticed that slowly but surely I am becoming fitter, my stomach has also gone down from 39in to 35in ☺️ even when I feel unmotivated I still give it my all. I love how encouraging everyone is and the willingness to not give up even if you can’t get through the whole video.

I don’t follow the weekly workout routine only because I’m focusing on certain parts to build on my body but I do incorporate ur more focused workouts such as the “burn in 10” series, arms and legs. But I also utilize ur walking videos as either warms ups or cool downs (I know sounds strange) but it’s a great way to begin and end feeling accomplished. My progress overall, because I started with ur workouts is down 50lbs (230->180) from June 5th to today. I love the enthusiasm everyone seems to have with working out. It used to be taboo to work out but now it’s definitely more of a community push to be healthier, however that may look.

I cried the first time i tried this workout from frustration and anger at myself for my weight and quit with 10 mins left. Today, i tried again and I finished it. No tears today, just sweat. I'm proud of myself!

Did this one today and it was tough. Felt a little defeated, after not being able to keep up at a few points. But pushed through and finished. My husband said just keep doing this one until you can do it with easy. Mahalo for the challenge!!

Don't feel defeated.. Say to self long as I keep moving and pushing I done awesome.. . i dont look at her as i move.. That mind frame will push u and one day u will look up as she moving and see u moving same pace...😀

i cried at 30 minute mark, i got a vision from the Lord that I was fighting my unhealthy self. I broke down and took a 5minute break and got back up and finished the last 10 minutes crying and fighting who i used to be so i can become who God always knew I was. Freedom from PCOS (heavy metal toxicity imho) and obesity and eating my feelings!!

After a year of working out for a hr a day 6 days a week after my pregnancy I struggled to not even lose 5 pounds. I switched to a combination of your workouts this past year and have since lost 30 pounds. Just wanted to say your workouts are a game changer and they work. Stay consistent and you will notice huge changes!

Same boat. 6 months now of working out 6-7 days a week 45 min at a time and increasing my daily step count and I lost 11 pounds and haven’t been able to lose a single pound for over 2 months now 😢

DAY1: Tried this and ended up surviving for 25 minutes. DAY2: completed full session , took me nearly 1 hour and a half but GOD DAMYUMMM!!!!!! the WAY i sweated!!!!! honestly for the first time I'm willing to continue a workout without worrying about weight-loss. The way you made me feel encouraged and happy yet shy I LOVED IT!! THo I'll notify if i lost weight or build muscles but my first priority would be my happiness about enjoying this workout. F23- 63kg

one thing i'll always appreciate about jo is how well she matches up moves to the music she chooses so we're actually working out to the beat and the music isn't just background noise. it makes maintaining a pace and focusing sooo much easier, and makes working out always feel like a fun dance party 🥰

This week was the first time that I decided to follow your workout schedule. Added a couple of pilates workouts on top of that and together that was quite an intense week. Your workouts are my choice of cardio for the last month or so, basically, ever since youtube suggested it to me - I look no more! Love the fact that these workouts are not over the top crazy, loving the all standing exercise, music is uplifting and your positivity is contagious. Really glad I found this channel and thanks for all the work you put in. Looking forward to some strength training workouts with light dumbbells in your weekly schedules! It's been almost 2 months since I decided to make working out a part of my lifestyle and people started noticing the change in my body, which is nice. I think I've lost around 3kg. Never had strong abs and it's surprising to discover the contours of a six pack starting to shape up 😄

A week ago I had to stop 3/4ths of the way through this workout. Today I did it all and was so proud of myself! Just remember that if you can’t finish something today that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to finish it down the road! ❤️

Yay. I did it. I’m 62 yrs old and it was challenging to say the least but I pushed myself and managed. So proud of myself. Only couldn’t squat and lunge too low as I have knee issues but I did upto the point where it felt comfortable. Your workouts are simply awesome. Thankyou Jo. You’re the best.

I kept telling myself I was gonna stop at 30 minutes but juts kept pushing and im so glad I did, I feel it everywhere. Thank you Jo! You don't know how much of a blessing you are! it's so hard for me to keep up with workouts but I do with yours AND see results. in the past three months I have lost 20 pounds by doing your videos and eating clean. im 24 and 135 now. OMGGGG! I tried this workout over a year ago after consistently working out with you for 6 months and was so sad when I couldn’t complete it, I’ve been scared to come back. I’ve told myself to try this one again a million times since and always talk myself out of it and did a different one. You make me feel so safe and happy while working out. I have really bad social anxiety so attending a group class has always been off the table. But since I found you, working out is fun, anxiety free and motivating. It's also nice to be able to do it at my own pace without feeling embarrassed or judged. Thank you for everything you do

In just that 45 minutes I definitely was dripping with sweat and burned a total of 310 calories!! That’s more than I typically burn when I follow 3-4 slower workout videos back to back. Insane burn, insane workout, definitely going to keep doing these Tabata and walking workouts weekly. Think I found my new favorite way to sweat!!

Honestly I almost give up today because my kids have been sick all day and it was such a difficult day for my family but after I put them to sleep I pushed my self and did it ! It really helps ! It makes me feel more confident and ease my anxiety. Thank you jo 🥰

I had shoulder surgery about 7 months ago and cannot do the kinds of workouts I used to do. I love that with your workouts, I can modify and not have to do planks or moves that stress my shoulder, and I still get a great workout. Your channel has been a lifesaver for me!

Thanks Jo for empowering all of us. Weighting over 100 kg i never knew what my body can do, but i know now i can do anything if i commit to it. I done 1 hour workout and later i saw your new video so i jumped of the sofa and did this as well. I feel i can climb the Everest now 😁

Newly subscriber… honestly Jo, I’m at an advance fitness level and skipped many of your workouts on my recommendations🙈. I became more interested when your workouts became a little bit more challenging. I started doing your workouts and I am so thankful I found you! Everyone is fighting something mental or physical or both and having your motivation really helps. Your attitude and personality come through and it keeps me going when I think I can't. BTW I finished this workout!!

This workout was FUN and HARD. Sweat ALOT. burned 370 calories, walked nearly 4km, did 4000 steps. Some were hard and sometimes I found (with the lunging and squat pulses) I preferred the faster ones as the slow ones burnnnnn. Was doing her ab one all last week and decided to switch it up to a 45 min one instead of a 20 min one and I felt it. Thanks !!

I started this workout yesterday and I was so proud of myself for completing it. I’ve been doing the 3 mile walk for a week and yesterday I felt I needed something for intense. I’ll definitely keep doing these 1 workouts for 3 months 👏🏻💪🏻

This was by far the hardest one I’ve done. If I do it again, I’m going to have a towel handy. I ran out of dry spots on my shirt to wipe my face. I had sweat dripping from my ears! 🥵 thanks for making these so fun and encouraging. Hello all the way from Australia 🇦🇺!

Man, this one got me. Google Fit said I burned 336 calories doing this. Like dang!! I am covered in sweat and feeling great. Of course, praise to God for giving me the strength to do it. I'll be coming back to this one for sure.

Hi Jo first I want to say YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION!! I love dancing Zumba and I came across one of your videos felt amazing after one workout continued I was 218 after my 5th child and was difficult to get the weight off I weighed 125 before my 1st child. After staying consistent for results I’ve stuck with you for 5 months now and I am now 189! This video was difficult I wanted to cry I wanted to give up, but like you said in the beginning if I can finish this I CAN DO ANYTHING! I was a sweaty mess after this one. It really put me to the test. I burned 325 kcal with an average heartrate of 104. Since starting grow with jo back in march I have lost 15 pounds.

I did this workout a few days ago and it started to get a little challenging towards the end but I pushed through it!! I was soooooo sweaty afterwards 😹😹😹 Your videos are always so amazing because you’re consistently motivating your viewers and are so full of energy. Awesome workout Jo!! I started your workouts after having major surgery and have been doing them since. I’m looking to lose about 100 pounds total, and these workouts help me to see results! Just tried this one and burned a total of 450 calories! I do have to make some modifications but I’m excited to keep progressing!

Did you change your diet as well? How long did it take you to lose 25lbs with these workouts and how regularly did you do them?

@@kristinadodig3998 Yes I had to change my diet to very low carbs and I only eat once or twice a day doing IMF. I started working out in March 2021 I workout Monday-Friday. This week I'm gonna start running for two weeks to drop the remaining weight. Going to start slow then build on it. I do not eat sugar, soda, I have a replacement, I had to change it all for this to happen.

this workout kicked my butt, i burned 649 active and 789 total calories. super intense even if you need to take it slower at some points!! sometimes i couldn't go at same intensity as you. i had surgery a couple months ago so i have to take it a bit slower with the squat/lunge/jumping type exercises until i don't feel pain around the surgery area (surgeons orders).

The pulsing definitely hurts my bad knee. There was a lot of side steps and pulsing that made it hard for me towards the end.

I have a problem knee also. Some of the exercises I do in moderation or not has deep. Others times, I'll run around my room and the hallway or do a different exercise while she does something that I think will affect my knee. Even if you just march in place, stay strong and keep at it. I wish you well.

I'm glad I finished this workout but it was definitely a marathon! Probably the toughest one yet! This was the only workout of yours that I had to take an additional break (or two 😅). Hopefully soon I'll be able to complete this without the extra breaks! ❤

I did this one today, and oh boy it was challenging! I gained 60lbs during the pandemic, and I was crushed to feel my body decline in performance. I wasn’t able to keep up with some parts, but I pushed through!
