Honestly i dont know why "weeping angels" and Doctor Who are so "popular" like ive always known about Doctor Who, but i dont think i know anyone whos actually watched it, not even my grandma. Weeping angels are like the only thing i know in the show besides the magical telephone booth thst the doctor travels in. I think its better to relate stuff to SCP-173 which is much more well known and isn't as old or forgotten. I think weeping angels are just used cause they kinda started the whole "moves when you look away" trope for horror games.
