Kruber and Kerillian having feelings for each other is touched on in Loner's journal entries, where it is neither confirmed or denied. However Kerilian did have a slight overreaction to finding out about loner's thoughts on the matter by tying him up and hanging him over a cliff with the intent to let him fall, only releasing him because he convinced her it was "just some bad poetry." so take of that what you will.

Great video but I have to mention that Witch Hunters DO like dwarfs, (they don't like elfs tho). They are Sigmarites, after all, and one of the stricture of the religion is literally "Aid and respect Dwarf-folk", hence why Saltz refer to Bardin as "Master Dwarf" despite him being just a ranger and an outcast from his own society. Sigmar was a friend and allied of the dwarfs and received his magical hammer Ghal Maraz, the namesake of the franchise, from a dwarven king he saved.

It’s hard to overstate just how good the characters and dialogue in this game are. I’m more invested in the slowly growing friendship between these psychos than I am the plot of the entire 40k universe.

Vermintide is my absolute favourite series. From the deep, sometimes hectic, but satisfying combat to amazingly written characters just make me come back to the game again and again. Thank you a lot for this review as it highlights the game's highs and lows very well.

This game seems simple to play and master when you first pick it up. You quickly realize there is more to surviving at higher difficulties, and you learn them through trial and fire. Nothing feels better than side stepping an assassin and blowing him away with a hammer to the head. I still shiver at the thought.

You know, there's a mechanic where if there aren't any allies within a specific distance, disablers will start spawning and targeting you specifically, which gets faster and starts to spawn them in sets of two after a while. You can go off on your own and survive, but it's not recommended to try your luck if you have a choice.

I am glad more people appreciate the Vermintide series . it like one of the few games that actually took the l4d2 formula and actually improved on it and end up baking it own unique BREAD of gameplay with it (not a cheap copy like many before it ) . what is so rare ( i wish it had less bugs tho)

This video ended up being _way_ funnier than I thought it would be. You somehow managed to condense the story well enough without missing any story beats and threw a few jokes that are both funny and true. And the way you briefly described Warhammer Fantasy and the characters as well as their classes is great. 10/10

What a great review to ask for. My significant other recently introduced me to Vermintide proper, and I've been hooked. Sinking roughly 100 hours into the second game over the course of August. It was also my first venture into the Warhammer Fantasy universe. And now I've grown an obsession to learn more. Unfortunately, my local book stores only sell 40K books, and nothing on Fantasy. I've been taking my time with the game, spending those 100 hours as Bardin alone. Looking forward to playing with each of the other characters at some point as well. I genuinely cannot get enough of the game. I don't find the experience repetitive. The melee combat is just that satisfying that it blows any possible boredom out of the water every single time I load it up. It has been a very long time since I last found a game that hooked me like this. Years in fact. Despite putting in around 100 hours, I'm still working my way through the campaigns on Legend. I still have a lot to learn. Not really sure if I'll ever get into Cataclysm myself, but will at least try it. I don't really enjoy modes that heavily learn towards needing a min-maxed playstyle or build in games. But that's just me. I don't find many reviews on Vermintide 2, ones from recent times that is. And when I do, they're usually short 2-4 minute videos. Too short for a review, in my opinion. Or ripping Vermintide to shreds as a wannabe "Left 4 Dead clone". Either way, very pleased to see Vermintide 2 having active players who're out there speaking about a gem I can't believe I missed out on years ago.

Slayer is speedrunner bait incarnate though, I knew skips with that class before they patched it out. I always got people to follow me on the skip in halescourge where you could skip like a good 2 minutes of the map by jumping across the river and then reviving your team mates who jump across and grab the ledge

Sigmar male, became based and Sigpilled. Kerillian: Hot but also a crazy asshole alternative hippie freak who got kicked out of the house by her family for being a crazy asshole alternative hippie freak. Now a tree. Sienna: Cool old punk lady who also has a crippling drug addiction who is weirdly enough the straight man of the group at times. Has hair now.

Yeah, that's pretty accurate. As someone with 1400 hrs, just have fun. You'll get better as you play, ignore midmaxing, experiment. There are objectively better and worse things to do but unless you wanna do cata or cata+ it doesn't really matter. Funny and entertaining video, love it!
