TIPS BELOW: Another deep breathwork session with long breath holds. The retentions are my favorite part, as I experience a deep state of bliss, especially when I push a little past my comfort zone. I recommend laying down if you feel like stepping out of your comfort zone in this one. And as always, it doesn't matter how long you can hold your breath, when you absolutely have hit your limits, TAKE A SIP, then let it back out and continue to hold. This little trick will help continue to build up your Co2 tolerance and enable you to hold your breath longer. Much love to this growing community. I appreciate all of you. If you are looking to dive deeper, and practice longer breathing sessions to help unlock some blockages and find some meaning you can head over to my patreon channel: patreon.com/breathewithsandy?Link&
Hey sandy question I have been doing breathwork for about a little over a year. I am so in love and I have passed out 3 times which that is never my goal. Anyways these times where spread out the last time was like a couple weeks ago and I did something to my neck working in garden. Now when I do breathwork I feel like I might go out. I feel like I need a neck adjustment and that might be why. Hope you can understand. Lol 😆 🤣 blessing to you and all your work 🙌 🌬🔥❤
Okay this video I laid down with pillow under head and didn't get to that point so maybe it it pace too idk I think it's time for me to find a teacher this breathwork is making me so aware and alive so thankful and grateful 🙏 I love cold water I love all water I also do qigong in it lol you guys are awesome just like me.
28 minutes before starting this session I was feeling tired/irritable/moody and I wanted to reset my brain. I have been following Sandy on youtube for a couple months now and I can say this one felt exquisite. I was able to come back into my body and really be present with myself. I’m so glad I did this. It’s changed the trajectory of my day 🙏🏼
OMG. I almost passed this one up, I literally thought it was not comfortable until I did it. You are the truth brother. Amazing journey with you. Peace & harmony
God bless you! I am a light stutterer but feeling often a anxiety in my diaphragm in physical form of tension/tightness. i trying out varius breathwork methods from your channel since one week now (its my first contact to breathwork) and i feel soo much better and safer in my speech. Trust the process, but i dont do it only for my stutter, i feel how good it is for me. I will report more benefits!
That was amazing, I really love the challenge of the longer breath holds. I can not wait to try this one again, first thing in the morning. Thank you for holding space and sharing your knowledge.
Haven’t commented in a while, cuz I always write the same thing…. Awesome session again 🙏 🤣. Even tho I hop around in other breathing channels, I find myself coming back here… it’s like my breathing home! 👌❤️🙏
@@BreatheWithSandy Big love brother ❤️ for your soul helping mine, and for everything that you do 🙏 and now that you are settling in France, nous pouvons pratiquer ton français si tu le désires?! 🙂
Hi Sandy, I love your videos, your work helps me a lot❤️. I started following you about 3 months ago and I don't miss any video. I didn't find anything in Portuguese and I see that because of the language many Brazilian people do not have access to content about breathing. I want to start producing content about breathing in Portuguese, I'm from Brazil. I have no experience with editing and animations, I would like to know how you make this effect of the circle growing and emptying like the movement of the lungs.
He’s not gonna share that, so don’t hold your breath (pun intended ) haha . I have a feeling by seeing who he responds to and who he doesn’t he’s a typical stuck up yogi type, Holier then thou. I still appreciate his videos tho.
I responded to Gabriel in another comment my friend. I get a lot of comments, and since my third eye is so open and bright from all of the kundalini yoga sometimes it blinds me from seeing some of those comments. I’ll work on grounding myself more. Much love my friend 🙏🏼
You are love. You are loved. You are a divine being. You are beautiful. You are special. You are eternal. We are love. We are loved. We are divine beings. We are beautiful. We are special. We are eternal. The illusion is that we are separate individuals. We are all interconnected. All are One. Anything that happens in your life, know this, and remember who you truly are. Know who we truly are. Know, that we are the Divine. Much love, for All of us. Thank you Sandy for your life changing videos and practice that you share. Thank you to everyone for Being. I love you all.
I felt it! It happened at the end of the final breath retention when I inhaled in round four. I am convinced now. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, for the guidance. I am so greatful!
So simple and yet so magical. Magical that we can penetrete to the deepth of our brain and indeed our entire body cells with simple manipulation of O2 and CO2 levels... Thank you ❤️
Did you know doing just 8 strong bhastrika breaths on your knees while holding your belly with your fingers, then on the last breath in you press everything into the belly very strongly while you let go of the perineum and boom, you almost fade out and have this super strong psychedelic experience which can even shoot you into your dream world or what I can the spirit
During breath retentions, you really go deeper and deeper into yourself and that's where the magic happens! The longer you hold your breath, the greater this intimate state of bliss.
Good morning Sandy. Every morning at 6 am I am with you practicing Pranayama. I love this one as well as the others I have tried. I have worked my way up to a 3 minute breath hold!!!. It helps my ocean swimming significantly. I leave for a small beach town in Colombia this week. Soon to practice at the edge of the Caribbean Sea. Thanks Sandy. Mark.
Gratidão Sandy, tem me proporcionando uma grande melhora em vários aspectos em minha saúde e desempenho. Estou curtindo muito e acompanhando todos os seus vídeos. Desejo tudo de bom a você!
Sandy Hello. I have observed many positive changes from these Pranayama practices. Stress and fear common in the modern world seem to take away breathing ability, depth of breath, even the desire to breathe deep. As though the ego armors the body with rigidity. The sinuses get either plugged or altered from their natural curving path from the nostrils to the lungs. Like a traffic jam at rush hour. Tension in the mind and body even to the slightest degree,🌞 hinder the breath holds. As though panic is lurking. Staying present, relaxed, allows the breath hold to seem almost effortless. A certain clarity arises that points towards what is good, what is best. As though you could hold your breath for even longer. Sandy thank you again for this. I have met many many people over the years that practice Yoga. Very few however had a clue about Pranayama. I always considered it essential to my life. I gave up teenage beer drinking years ago, quit smoking marijuana. I drink water to start the day, eat natural foods, stock my fridge with fruit. Calisthenics in the sun to stay strong. I consider you a brother. I see your strong physique, your deep comforting voice, your encouraging words. Be wise Sandy. Stay away from the bad and let the good be beckoned by your strong spirit. Much love and gratitude from Colombia. Mark.
I appreciate the feedback and all of your words. Sounds like we have similar interested my friend. Substance free just taking in a lot of prana and movement 🙏🏼
Thank you so much for doing these wonderful videos! I've done yoga and meditation for few years but few months ago I lost my motivation. I'm so glad I found your channel, I'm totally hooked! I love your calming voice, your music, everything. :)
Ok man I’m not gonna lie, when I’m doing the breathing I get so high!! If I make it to the breath hold I feel I can fly!! Doing the hold is easy and this poem is cheesy 🤣 But seriously bro, 🙏🏻 Thank you!!! 🙏🏻
I want to express my gratitude to you Sandy. I've decided to commit to starting my every morning with Breathwork meditations. Your channel is all that I need. Beautiful work, very nicely put together practices. Thank you 😊 💓
Sandy. With you every morning at 6 am here in the Dominican Republic. I have practiced Yoga since the age of 14. My first Asana was Sarvangasana on the living room floor of the family home in North Vancouver. I started Pranayama in my twenties. I too love the long breath holds. After practice with you I walk over to the beach and swim in the Atlantic Ocean as the early morning sun lights up the clear sea. Namaste Marko Vida.
Much love Sandy, I think this was one of my favourites. I felt so much peace and towards the end I could feel light shooting through my head and exploding behind my closed eyes. Thank you for all that you do
Hi all! I LOVE these videos :) I have a question.......Does anyone know which factors can effect how long we can hold our breath for? As usually I can do the 90 second breath holds easily but yesterday, I could only last 60 seconds, which is very unusual! I do have an absolute iron deficiency, which can cause shortness of breath, I wonder if this could have an impact?
Heart rate (don’t do it after exercise or anything that’ll increase your heart rate) Empty stomach vs just ate Laying vs seated Mouth vs nose Best time is when you wake up before you eat 🙏🏼
Hi, just practiced this session for the 1st time. Amazingly, my heartbeat went to lower than my lowest in my sleep! Wow. Thats powerful. Is it normal to have felt quite cold when practice this particular session? Thank you
@BreatheWithSandy Hi Sandy, I'm amazed to have your reply as you are my guru. Thank you so much! I've been following your sessions almost every day for about 2 months now, when I started searching for breathwork. I feel so lucky that i have found you. It has opened a new world for me, and I feel great when practising. My deepest gratitude 🙏 . Best wishes to you and your family ❤️.
