As a 14 year old 120 IB’s am throwing high 60’s no lower then 67 and low 70’s no higher then 75 this video will help a lot soon when I start to get on the form maybe it can get me up to low 80’s

Why don't the hardest throwers in the MLB have their heads behind their belly buttons before release (Chapman, Bauer, Cole, etc)? Slow motion them all and show me where they have their heads that far behind their belly buttons during any part of their motions.

Both are most easily understood by thinking of the vector field as representing a flow of a liquid or gas; that is, each vector in the vector field should be interpreted as a velocity vector. Roughly speaking, divergence measures the tendency of the fluid to collect or disperse at a point, and curl measures the tendency of the fluid to swirl around the point. Divergence is a scalar, that is, a single number, while curl is itself a vector. The magnitude of the curl measures how much the fluid is swirling, the direction indicates the axis around which it tends to swirl. These ideas are somewhat subtle in practice, and are beyond the scope of this course. You can find additional information on the web, for example at mathinsight.org/curl_idea and mathinsight.org/divergence_idea and in many books including Div, Grad, Curl, and All That: An Informal Text on Vector Calculus, by H. M. Schey. Recall that if f is a function, the gradient of f is given by ∇f=⟨∂f∂x,∂f∂y,∂f∂z⟩. A useful mnemonic for this (and for the divergence and curl, as it turns out) is to let ∇=⟨∂∂x,∂∂y,∂∂z⟩, that is, we pretend that ∇ is a vector with rather odd looking entries. Recalling that ⟨u,v,w⟩a=⟨ua,va,wa⟩, we can then think of the gradient as ∇f=⟨∂∂x,∂∂y,∂∂z⟩f=⟨∂f∂x,∂f∂y,∂f∂z⟩, that is, we simply multiply the f into the vector. The divergence and curl can now be defined in terms of this same odd vector ∇ by using the cross product and dot product. @@brentpourciau I have a question. I am a high school senior sitting 82-83. My coach has pointed out that I lean back pretty far in my delivery. Is leaning back necessarily a bad thing? Do you think it prevents me from getting the most out of my lower body?

Kiefer Lord shows an unstable foundation (core). Tightening that would create more torsional stress and in return most likely add a few mph to your velo. I’d work on a stronger core and back.
