Question : in the lore the emperor always saw the space marines as temporary, with regards to the table top do you think space marines are becoming the thunder warriors due to the recent increase in primaris models.

I have two oop Squat servitors, that never made sense to me since the worst kind of punishment for a Squat was banishment from their hold and family. This banishment reflected bad on the house and family for generations and throughout the offenders life and that is bad when you are so long lived.

I thought it was pretty cool how the novel "Flesh and Steel" not only worked servitors into the plot but showed a glimpse of exactly how they were created, which I don't think I've seen in any of the other 40k books I've read.

Hmmm... Ok so we have a bit of a conflict of theories over here. You're saying AI got corrupted by chaos and went apeshit, Arch says AI became aware of Chaos and decided that to destroy chaos one must destory all life. The theory here relates to chaos being a possessive force, that chaos demons can possess anything material without a chaos presence ("soul") so they can possess rocks or pencils... but considering that pencils have no means to really be controlled AI maniche was a simpler choice. But if that was the case the first AI ever would already start going apeshit... Also those machines would so be using chaos insignia. Arches theory goes to answer why AI waited several millenia before their uprising. Becuase they were gathering intel on the universe and slowy they became aware of the phenomenon of chaos, how it works and what fuels it, that way AI decided their quest to destroy ALL life, in fact, it would be anything but a chaos possession because the goal of AI is to destroy chaos for good, by destroying life. No Chaos God would profit from this campaign because AI has no emotions, no lust, it doesn rot, even Khorne who would love the carnage would realize it wouldn't last eternally if machines just kill everything. So I wonder who's correct over here?

Its a shame that GW is such a dumb company that only for admech servitors are a thing now, they could sell hundrets of boxes just with a mix of battle and "scenery" servitors, they could sell servitors just for fluff with a few candles and scripts and stuff and i whould by the heck out of it, i love the modells and the individuallity around them for kitbash.
