Not true. A bunch of Aeldari Harlequinns managed to slip onto Holy Terra to try and visit the Emperor of Mankind right after the Ork showed up, verbally slapped the entire High Council of Terra with its dick, and left. Mind you, said Ork came down from a *zoggin' artificial Moon* which the Orks parked over Terra, so the Ork's arrival is much more impressive.
Wait, if the Orks constantly produce spores which eventually grow into more Orks, wouldn't Terra have a (most likely) short-lived Ork infestation problem? Then again, they were probably wiped out very quickly.
no, because terra is a HIPER-hive world, no as fuckin necromunda but a really big one, so there is no sufficient dirt the spores can get in and infest to grow orks
Orks are Orcs in Spaaace with a twist. Comedy relief sometimes and plot tool for variety when the invincible hordes of enemies are not Nids,Necrons or Daemons.
Look man, everyone has his taste. But to me, their existence in this universe is uninspired. They were like let's take gnomes, dwarfs, elves and orcs and put them in space. They game needs more original alien races.
You forgot to mention how they travel from planet to planet.Lexicanum says that they built giant catapelts and throw them selfs on giant rocks towards the direction they think there are habitable planets.
Ooo boi we're in dis video let's show them a proper WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH
No no, You need more volume on you're WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH, idealy from the diaphram and spraying as much saliva as possible. For best results, you should be wildly spraying un-aimed automatic weapons fire
Fun fact, orks don't have hair. They take a special squig and have it bite onto them.. a hair squig, then they bind around its mouth so it won't unlatch.
Yup, Orks are psychopathic Mushroom Men, who warp the very fabric of reality and are obsessed with fighting, killing them only makes things worse, because when an Ork dies, they release a massive cloud of spores that will grow into more Orks and fighting them, only gets them even more fired up.
Oi! Ye 'talkin orks eh, ya git? I'z gonna tell ya 'bout orks! Ehrum, *Won*, orks iz da bigest 'an da strongest. *To*, Green iz best. *free*, Ork luv free things: 'Foigthin, 'foightin, 'an der bannerz. *for*, Green iz best. *Faive*, Orkz loik 'ta krump 'an stomp, 'an smash, 'an krump da 'umies. *Zix*, Orks don't loose, we'ze just 'leggin it, so it don't count, den we'ze come back 'an foigth again, zog it! Any kuestionz?
Alex McLean By that assesment I assume that you are new to warhammer 40k? No, they are a creation by a now -presumebly- extinct spieces, only remembered as the "old ones".
Thank you very much! I'm a Dane myself, so when I saw your profile picture I had to take a look at it. I thought there was some swedish writing above the Danish flag (Dannebrog) , but I wasn't completely sure so I thought I better ask. ^^ Once again, thank you for the explanation. Have a great day Sir. o7
I wonder what would happen if Gork and Mork turened from fighting each other and started in on the other chaos gods. I would pay to see that little contest go down. LOL
Wouldn't Tzeentch just be all 'Everything is going according to my plans!!!' Like he always does? Nurgle would suddenly have them stomping through his garden and crying over it, Khorne would fight them both. With Kaine's shards manifested to aid him. Which would be awesome. A blood god, and a War god, fighting the two ork gods. Not sure about slannesh.
I think its happened before. While in the older additions a story had Gork and Mork come across two daemons and beat them up so badly they actually begged not to be killed. The two daemons being Khorne and Nurgle.
You'd think we could alter engineer one of those spores if we managed to capture an end of life ork. I wouldn't mind a clan of orks fighting for human kind.
Lore suggests that the orks are fundamentally uncontrollable, and were too savage to be truly used even when the Old Ones first created them. They were always an indiscriminate weapon.
@@dark7element I don't think the Old Ones would have made them without having the means to at least get rid of them when the war was done. Being master's of genetic engineering it's likely the Orks do have something of a advance genetic kill switch.
Or Dunno if mushrooms are considered vegetables, atleast right now. I've read some that portrays mushrooms as a bacterial formation, but its likely incorrect.
I only got into 40k over the last 6 months to a year, but I'm pretty much addicted already. I appreciate the quality and content in this video; Thanks for posting.
isn't their something in the astartes codex that says if you run out of ammunition fighting these boys you can just aim an empty gun at them and scream "BANG" and it will literally kill them?
Great video though I have to bring this little criticism up since it's triggering my inner biologist really hard... FUNGI DON'T HAVE CHLOROPHYLL OR UTILIZE PHOTOSYNTHESIS! They are heterotrophs, not autotrophs!!
1. Quit looking into the Slaaneshi side of the net heretic! 2. There's conflicting info on if they have 'dangly parts' between their legs. A good shot to the groin will bring down an Ork just like it would any human. It might be they just have huge clusters of nerves down there or something.
The Primarch videos will come after the faction overview videos. The schedule is a brief overview on each faction. Then a brief overview on Space Marines and their creation. Then the Emperor. Then the Primarchs. Etc
I wonder if a band of orks might start worshipping the chaos gods by some incidents or encoouters with some of the original worshipers... If yes... I guess that would be a whole new level of chaos...
OY. I 'as a questchun fer yer. Wat's der diff'rence between a warboss and a warlord? Is it the size of da WAAAGH! 'e kommandz? Or do dey just chooze wut sounds betta wif deir names?
Hmm, I wonder if all orks are eradicated from the galaxy, will this rob the power from the Ultramarines to win wars when their gestalt psychic field dissipates?
Yes. As Remliez mentioned, they have their own written language which is a combination of glyphs and phonetic runes. They can also learn to read/speak other languages (mostly done by Runtherds as mentioned in the video), but the truly scary Orks are the ones who speak other languages and *aren't* Runtherds. Case in point: Warlord Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka, the biggest and baddest Ork alive in 40k, can speak fluent High Gothic, which for 40k humanity is like if you could speak fluently in medieval Latin today. The fact the 'dumb Ork' can speak something as advanced as High Gothic is downright terrifying.
