This video is fantastic. This look is so beautiful, and it looks like it suits you so well. In the film footage near the end, it looked like you were really have fun with it. I will be sharing with my mother who is a huge fan of the fashions of the 1940's. She is as much a lover of history as I am. I was wondering if you could do a style revival for the Medieval period or even a modernized Marie Antoinette. I remember that very intense Beauty Beacons video of Marie Antoinette, which was simply amazing. If time travel were possible you look like you could fit in with quite a few historic periods. I admire your dedication to all the research required.
This is probably sort of oddly specific, but I always feel sort of inspired by the effortless approach you take when applying your complexion products, regardless of the decade/ era you're aiming to represent. I love how you use such a minimal amount of foundation and concealer, it always looks so so pretty
Awww, I love the 40s, a very intense time. I still have my moms shoes that she wore in the 40s. You forgot the stockings. I also still have the gater belt and stockings with the seam up the back. Mybdad ended up passing away from his wounds recieved in WWII but lived long enough to have me. Still have his uniform. I certainly would not want things to go back to that time as women had it really bad but it's fun to research.
Id wager the men had it pretty bad too lol. Tough times for everyone. "A time when men were men and women were men and children were men" as my Grandfather would say half joking half serious
I absolutely loved this one!! Like everything looks amazing: make up, hair and outfit. I wish I could do that hairstyle on daily basis, love how smart and elegant it looks. And of course you look stunning xx
So beautiful! This style really suits you! Have you ever tried Besame makeup products? I had seen a RU-vidr review these vintage inspired products where she tried matte lipsticks and cake mascara. They seemed to look very nice but was wondering if you ever tried these. Love your makeup too!😊
Heavy contouring? In the 50s? What? Back then women tried to look as round and feminine as possible. There was nose contouring but only celebrities did that. Where did you get that information from?
