He didn't even TRY to explore any part of the map, then complained and said there was nothing to do. Why did Phil even BUY Elden Ring? He clearly hates it.
He has to play the latest games for views, begging, subscriptions, gout, hogans, grooming, enabling Derich, claiming all criticism is just detractors, SNORT, abusing Jasper and Khet, excuses, getting made fun of by Pandalee when hes sitting right next to her, etc.
The fact that bg3 makes boatloads more than elden ring is hilarious. I love baldurs gate but elden ring is perfect bait for paypigs. Dents and trolls love to watch him suffer
One thing I kept thinking throughout the intro to the boss... WHY WON'T PHIL SHUT UP? He's like "OH IT'S THIS, I KNEW IT, WE SAW IT" like BRO shut up and just enjoy the moment. Would be god awful sitting next to him when watching a movie.
"Yeah it's gonna be the dancing... lion thing." Whoops, almost called it by it's actual name despite totally not having looked this up. Usual lies and guide reading, and being all smug "I knew it was gonna be a lion!"
I don't understand why he still goes into games blind it doesn't make sense expecting his chat to be able to walk him through the game he doesn't know, it's purely ego he thinks he is better for being worse at the game it's just a toxic way to come at a game, I already know how to beat the game without playing it because I'm a top player meanwhile every one else buys the walkthrough magazine with the game
@@Jason0binladen the point of the comment is that he doesnt goes to games blind, he even knew the boss was a dancing lion, how did he know that? Clearly he has seen gameplay or guides already, and then acts smug af saying like "see? I told you it was a lion i was right!"
@@butteredtoast3032 I mean to regards to the name thing, if you did watch the shadow trailers, you would have seen the lion dancer boss. Most people would be able to tell what it was

@@ELpeaceonearth I just got the dryleaf arts and put bloodstep on it and yeah my job is to get in close and zip about whole my mates blast magic and I get in-between them and the bosses
How funny that Asmongold also rage quit because his meme jump attack build was also struggling since the bosses no longer stagger. He got a lot further in than DSP though tbf
Is he SERIOUSLY complaining about having to explore the map in elden ring??? Why didnt he compain about having to find upgrade materials in the main game?
He made the same complaints about that last Zelda game as well, about having to explore to find things. It's almost like he doesn't genuinely enjoy games or something.
How is he getting killed in this horribly designed game? He's doing nothing wrong, he's doing everything correct. Like when he rolls into a wall and then the camera closes in because it has nowhere to go. That was 100% dropped inputs, there was nothing he could do.
i don't even play this game and i thought didnt u just position wrong i cant stand ppl like this its never their fault and it's impossible to improve cuz they play flawless
They want you to lock on and lock off when you need to and literally run out of the way and then dodge when locked off. Lock on when you actually have to aim at the enemy. But even then. You would still have to cheese the boss.
He was begging hard tonight because most of the tips from the 1st stream were from one dent. I don’t see this game cracking 100 bucks in tomorrow’s stream. Specially since he’s doing star dew valley at night. There’s 1 dent who drops a big tip
And he'll blame the game for the low support. "Fromsoft fucked up the DLC. People don't like it, it's not popular, it's why no one is showing up to the stream and supporting it."and he'll drop it, like he does with every other game.
@@PenguinWithInternetAccess Don't worry about it, was definitely set up way in advance. He seemed very calm going into the DLC despite the low support streams previously. Give it a few more streams, the dents will be broke (again) and Phil will be back to $15 streams and threatening to wage quit.
I love when he says "They fucked it up" to things that everyone is enjoying except him, he'll be in a better mood once someone sends him the new cheese build
I believe the devs said they made the game harder to prevent cheese. The only way to sorta cheese is by doing the perfect parry method but even then, that takes timing and skill. Phil just spams buttons and gets mad when his character doesn’t do all things at once
theres a legit way, its called grinding runes. Philly cheese head here is too lazy to grind runes. Its painful to watch his playthrough. Zero exploration, will probably rq b4 finding any of the new weapons.
"All I wanted was a lot of legacy dungeon stuff, maybe some cool big Boss fights" Goes right to exactly that, fights exactly that, does nothing but bitches and whines. What a wild and robust individual.
Im playing my first ever playthrough of base elden ring and its my first Souls like game now yes there is issues like hitbox issues or input issues and the camera but even tho i yell bout it mid fight i never keep it against the game cauae its not so big that it breaks the game so when i inevitably do beat the Bosses i just move on, i only hate it when Rng is bad and i get hit with some bs or sometimes i get hit when it should not have counted or i hit the enemy but no damage is registered but meh i grew up with worse BS in games so its not that rough to work around with time. 🫡
Yes. He replayed the game with a magic build for a reason - to cheese through everything and also the DLC, but now all bosses are skill checking him and he hates it. He did the same shit in DS2 where he spammed lightning on everything, reached the Looking Glass Knight boss (whose shield reflects lightning attacks), got skill checked there so hard he was fuming at how suddenly the game became harder.
He really expected to just steamroll through this DLC with little to no effort. And just watch the tips flow in! But I guess FormSoftware had other plans! I love it! 😂😂
Spoilers bro ffs. Also he cheesed a pretty tough enemy he called "Wolverine". He was singing in this tarded way what he knows everyone waa thinking like it didn't bother him (btw those that do that do care). Then when he got his rear pushed in by the giant stanny stabby guys he got cocky and still died. "Oh so it's like that alright then" then got absolutely crushed thinking he would own them. The guy is a full time fraud. The sooner the gout takes him irl the better for mankind for real.
"Is it going to be the Dancing Lion boss? It has to be the Dancing Lion. We saw the head in the tower before. Yes, it could be the Dancing Lion" WE FUCKING GET IT!!! Jesus Christ on a unicycle, he treats his viewers like they're watching an episode of Blues' Clues.
I was thinking the same thing 😂 like jesus christ dude i get it, you've seen gameplay before and are trying to act smug, you dont need to repeat it over and over expecting validation
I was just about to comment how often he repeats himself and you're totally right, it's the kind of thing you'd see on Blue Clue's or other kid's shows. He does it CONSTANTLY.
"this is stupid you have to go grind to progress" You'd swear this man didn't play the base game, you can't run straight to the first key boss and kill him without getting better items or levelling up unless you're unbelievably skilled and he is not.
@@entropywins_ Of course I did However, the game design indicates that fighting him straight out the gate is extremely difficult and therefore you should go explore other areas first, it's the same design language From used since DS1 with the graveyard beside Firelink Shrine. DSP acts like he has never played these games before.
@@PenguinWithInternetAccess His dents will tell him that you can skip Rellana and he'll be all "hey look, I totally legit found this path that leads around Castle Ensis, wow, I don't have to fight this boss? I'm totally surprised, dood!"
he can never do a simple attack. its always gotta be his weapon art. also his reaction time is so bad lmao. also he said that the Lion Dancer wasnt "outplaying" him.
"i did a second run to grind for this dlc, what was the point of that grinding then?" gee phil i dont know, especially since fromsoft literally said grinding outside the dlc is pointless when they talked about the scadutree shards
On the lowest of keys I wanna see someone take a level 1 character to the dlc and fight stuff using only the blessings idfk I say this like using a mod or something
it'd be pretty funny to see dave's ideal game, does he even want to press buttons? or should the game just interpret that he wants to win then the boss just keels over and fucking dies followed by an absolute tidal wave of loot and experience along with the message "you are a true pro gamer, the trolls have been owned"
Just wait until he comes across another boss later on Dual wielder incredibly aggressive and seems resistant to magic Porky gonna get roasted(I did too lmao)
@@lefteron6804She seems more vulnerable to faith damage. My slashes did barely anything but the ash of war on the sword I was messing around with actually did a decent amount. I'm dex/faith so I haven't tested it personally but people are telling she's highly magic resistant and I believe it alot of casters are. Honestly even as very experienced souls player I'm getting folded pretty hard unoptimized build aside. The salt from Phil's playthrough is going to be insane.
"The boss isn't even hard, it just kills you in two hits." I played very little of Elden Ring but in my understanding of it that means you aren't strong enough to fight it and need to explore somewhere else to level up unless you're a hard-core Dark Souls player who likes grinding. And he just now says "they expect you to go around and collect sht" like yeah? That's what Elden Ring was like? I haven't played the DLC but...what.
Some good DSPisms today: "Boss after my own heart." What the hell is dick lightning? "Immune to a magical Hail Mary." Aka Cheese "I've hit the wall. (10 seconds later). It's not wow I've hit a wall and it's to hard but they expect me to grind in the open world." Pathological lying, he doesn't even know he contradicts himself anymore.
Dick Lightning was this dumb meme he created while cheesing Dark Souls 2 with the Lightning Spear miracle back when it was OP. Of course, in true DSP fashion, he berated against From Software when it got nerfed for the DLCs
@@TheLaurelCrown okay, to me it sounds like something that requires penicillin. Grandpa always said "Stay away from girls that give your dick lightning."
@TheLaurelCrown Remember how that playthrough was all sunshine and rainbows until he reached the mirror knight, a boss that was immune to the lightning. He raged pretty hard against that boss because he didn't hone his skills at all. He had the nerve to call that boss's moves cheap despite cheesing the whole game
@@alexandergregoire2573 He's raged at so many souls games they have kinda merged in my memory. Especially DS2, he's redone that one a ton. Personal favorite, Ludwig.
Fought him yesterday with a bleed build, and killed in my 4rth attempt. Rellana on the other hand... Five hours. If he's having trouble with the first boss, he's going to quit at the knightess of the twin moons.
As always, once the money from the Dents dries up, Dave's true colours shine through. He doesn't like videogames, his 'business' is all about scamming viewers every stream so he can go gambling at night...
On a side note, I absolutely love the design of that boss and how it takes inspiration from the Lion Dance; even its movements incorporate it. And the music? Incredible.
He's painfully bad at fromsoft games when he can't brute force his way. He takes 30 tries before he even bothers trying something different. Excuse after excuse. The next few weeks are gonna be some great content. 5:40 classic example. Magic build. Right up in there,
Nao guise here's the deal. As you know I don't like fun, so I don't want to play the game just "support" me hint hint, sound good? Worthless humans ack ack ack /snort.
Dude just doesn't enjoy games. It's valid to say that exploring to find the upgrades isn't fun FOR HIM, but claiming that it's bad and that "they fucked it up" in some objective sense is just dumb.
It makes you dumb though if you claim to be a fan of this franchise, when grinding to get stronger has always been a thing. He needs to stick to games that don't really expect anything from him.
I am sniffing out a early wage quit. Only 35 dollars by the end of the night. Not even that many superchats. Phil must have been grumpy that he wont be pulling Hogans tonight 🤔
Bro there’s no way he expected a 40 hr dlc to just be linear asf, Elden ring was all about exploration and why wouldn’t the dlc be the same, the fact he said, “they don’t even tell you where the items are at” bro wtf is the point of you getting the dlc
He is going to be in for a rude awakening when he realizes that the Scadutree Blessings doesnt change as much as he thinks. I was able to defeat the Lion with just one upgrade. I hope nobody that watches him actually believes that FromSoft is 'FORCING' people to 'explore' the open world to progress. It is simply a skill issue.

In all souls games it's well known that exploration is your ultimate Alley, if you refuse to explore like Asmon gold or this loser in the video, you might finish the game , but it will cost you dearly
This is the same thing that happened for dark souls 2. He cheesed the game with 'dick lightning' cause you have absurd amounts of magic, and the lightning spell was busted. But they sky rocketed the bosses magic resist in the dlc or something and made magic builds substantially harder to use. Alongside it generally being harder he flipped the hell out about it and said they ruined it, despite the vast majority of the fanbase complaining that magic builds were so good it made the game too easy.
well obviously if everyone is saying the game is too easy with magic, and phil is saying they fucked it up, one can come to the logical conclusion that phil is correct and everyone else are morahns. he did nothing wrong, he did everything correct.
''I can't win until i collect shit'' Isn't that how every game is made ? If you are not good enough to beat the boss or the challenge in general guess what , you can do side stuff to make your character stronger. Like that's gaming 101.
I think the holiday special Phil made where the troll says "It's almost as if he plays games...*silent pause longer than it needed to be*...to have fun?" would be a great clip addition to these when Phil says stupid shit like "Why did I play this game a second time?".
I love it when he continues to have his ass handed to him and he can’t survive more than 8 seconds, yet he’s sure he’s some kind of authority in analyzing what the boss is doing. It’s literally like, “What’s going on in front of your eye’s doesn’t matter dents, I’m clearly an elite gamer dood. SNORT”
"I dont use guides" has admitted to using guides on several different occasions. "I'm probably gonna get my butt whooped not knowing what this is" welcome to games Phil...🙄 that's how they usually work, especially FS games.
First off this guy sucks at the game but i dislike how some of you guys cry about people looking up guides when ALL STREAMERS ASK THEIR CHAT WHERE STUFF IS, THAT IN SHORT IS OTHERS GUIDING THEM lol. Best part is those guys never get cooked for asking people bout these things live yet everybody else gets cooked. I got bored in the base game for not finding more Bosses to fight so i looked up guides on where they are not weaoons armour etc. Just bosses to beat them or die to them and practice fighting better i feel yall need to stop the hypocrisy.
If he's struggling with the Lion we're in for a good time with this DLC Then again he'll probably look up all the Scadutree Fragments and get overlevelled for the harder bosses
Lol I love how he just starts frantically panic rolling every single attack. He never remains calm and times it properly. When he manages to dodge, it is pure luck.
Seriously😂 I swear sometimes it seems like his roll button is stuck down. I mean I’m hot garbage at the game and I still time my rolls better than that. Bro isn’t even trying.
He is 100% wrong about the blessings they are there SPECIFICALLY so you can not steamroll the DLC with overleveled builds to ENCOURAGE you to explore just like the main game to get stronger organically.
As always when he gets no money he just starts complaining about everything. A dent needs to hurry up and figure out the build so pigroach can cheese his way through it like he does with all souls games but then claims he’s really good at the game. When he can’t cheese we see his real skill level
you know what's funny? you can summon that warrior freja to help with the fight. she provided the distraction i needed when i needed to heal and i killed this boss after about 9 attempts
I used Mimic Tear, kinda achieved the same goal. Just another target for the boss to focus on to give you breathing room. I'm playing a melee build with no ranged options and dividing aggro between targets definitely helps. Phil refuses to summon or do anything to make these bosses easier because it seems he'd rather just endlessly complain instead of using the tools available to him. I don't get it.
Souls like Noob here this happened to me today but cause im on pc...i was retreating back and to the right while using a flask then the pots around the putrid avatar got me stuck thing is on keyboard the keys are two keys you need to press at the same time to jump and bam i died, that's not the games fault but i happens when you are already using two hands to run+flask and then need to jump 😂 here is the keys i needed to hit in order to do all that... SD+SHIFT KEY(lefthand)+R+F+SPACEBAR(Right hand)+Mouse for camera movement. So yeah i think i was justified in yelling for dying to something so stupid 😂
I saw this coming. The dlc is SOOOO vertically layered. Yes, it seems hard to maneuver at first. But it makes sense when you start doing the “legacy dungeons”
Also, the difference in pronunciation for 'Archipelago' is simply that British folk say 'Ah' instead of 'Ar', which is obvious. Of course they're both 'correct'. THEY'RE THE SAME WORD, FUCKING REGARD.

Yet here we are bitching about how he has to actually play through the game. Remember that no one forced him to buy this DLC. He could have easily chosen to wait a week, see how the gameplay was, then buy it. Oh but of course if you told him that he would tell you "BUT THEN NO ONE WILL WATCH AND SUPPORT YOU STOOPIIDDD". And at the same time, when people were telling him it was going to release on his day off, he was telling people that it didn't matter and he wouldn't play it because he doesn't care about day one views. There are so many cool new weapons. Phil is stubborn. He didn’t prepare like they warned him. They said, make sure you have all the smithing stone bell bearings because when you’re getting all these new weapons, you’ll want to level them up. Phil isn’t smart
I've said it before, a company does not employ multiple people and spend dozens of hours to create assets just to throw them away because a man-child needs to make money.
Phil just wants to not think, he wants to be guided to the best items for the best build and then go and try a boss and beat him in 10-20 tries and tell chat he learned the boss pattern or something. He hates to explore or think for himself because if he would play just of what he thinks everyone would realise how truly stupid he is.
Porky Burnell complains about the combo extensions bosses have...y'know, if you keep standing right in front of them and in their range they gonna' do that. You have to position and space yourself better to avoid those. The very first major boss in this game, Margitt, demonstrates this. Pretty much every subsequent boss does it in some way. Heck, some regular mobs do it. But if he had this sort of learning capability he wouldn't have racked up over a thousand deaths on his playthroughs combined.
remember when he first met the tree sentinel in the base game and fought him for like 3 hours and his chat was telling him to leave and come back, and then he said anyone who runs from bosses is a pussy and that you need to overcome the challenge. pretty funny seeing him run from this boss. i think this dlc is going to filter him. the scadutree shards aren't going to fix his skill issue.
"Nothing has staggered yet in the DLC." Bro, Rellana was a beast but her poise was trash. When I finally beat her I probably staggered her 4 times, and I'm running a Faith build. Same with Blackgaol Knight. Stop trying to magic cheese everything, Phil. You goof.
DSP being bad at the game and having the avsolute nerve to say THEY fucked it up? Just because you have to change up your playstyle and cant just stand still and throw spells and have to actually learn new things doesn't make the game fucked up.
