Finally got me a lock to try mine on after having it for 6 months. I didn't wanna try it out in the field. To my surprise it was fairly easy. After decoding it, I traced my key and was only off by 1 cut. Looking forward to using now. Thanks for the videos.
@@BoredLockpicker went well to be fair slight wear on one of the wafers 1st cut didnt work progressed one of the cuts by 1 and it worked.thanks for uploading.
I’m having hard time figuring out how to use this manual lishi pick hy22 has weird tips but the insert guide has no where for the pick to come out of, any suggestions??
watched your video. thats old school lishi's. It looks like you pull the wafers down into it using the marks on the side to line it up. I think you're better off getting the "modern" version of the tool
@@BoredLockpicker agreed. I do like these old ones tho! Just curious how it was supposed to work. Appears to be picking sideways instead of up and down, just threw me off. I was able to pick my car lock with it, with some trial and error. But yes, the modern 2 in 1 are much awesome but I really dig these old school ones too. Thanks for checking it
Had a 17 Sportage that called for HY22. Wouldn't fit into the door cylinder. A properly cut toy48 worked fine. Kind of weird this lishi fits many Kias but not the sportage. Can't find any info and paying for a key code sucks.
It is a prox, no ignition cylinder. The drivers door is the only lock. I definitely need to figure it out. I'm not paying over 40 bucks for a door key lol. I did notice on websites that sell the tool will list all the vehicles and the 17 sportage is not included.
Fuck that shit, I have the lishi for Ford 3 types, Toyota 4x, gm 5x , Honda 1 type, mit 2x, Nissan 3x, maz 2x Chrysler 2x etc. and more but this hy22 I’d rather purchase the code. 14$ fuck it
