24 first is not to much, I'd argue he's more well rounded and ready to play then anyone in this draft, when you consider blocking, toughness, speed, release package and route tree.

@@jmcghane besides it’s not like the Niners don’t have the money to pay both BA and Purdy. Also who’s going to come in and take over right away for BA? Our mission is to get better. We are not better trading BA.
I would rather have a 1st pick and get a big body at WR who can make contested catches. I want to Purdy to be able to just throw it up and win our WR win one on one.
I mean Kyle, Lynch and Jed all have said pretty much anyone is available if the offer is right. So another way to spin a narrative to have everyone clicking their post. When it happens it'll happen.
Anyone except Purdy, there is no way they would trade Purdy, if he stays healthy he’ll likely be their franchise qb for ten years plus, maybe fifteen- they wouldn’t trade Purdy for three first round picks, not that it would be offered. I don’t think they’d trade Purdy for ten first round picks, he’s a once in a lifetime fit for Shanahans offense.
@@HerbSterbermerbler Kyle loves Brock. They respect each other and work well together. Coaches have say that Brock can hang with Kyle. Good together. Brock runs the offense very well.
I just more and more get the feeling that BA's heart is no longer in SF, that would really suck and I am certain that if he left, it would break our collective hearts. I pray however that I am wrong. NINER EMPIRE!
Yeah there is so much BS out there. Other execs obviously know he’s worth a 1st if not more. He was a top 4 WR this year as a 2nd team all pro. They just want to try and drive down his worth so they can get him for less, but it won’t work because the 9ers know exactly what he’s worth. I really hate this pre-draft time of year 🙄
I’m hoping BA stays, but I’m to the point, hey if he wants to stay pay him but if he doesn’t let him go and get a couple of good draft picks for him and let’s get this 2024 season started🫵🏻😏 LETS GO 9ERS 💪🏻
It makes sense. If the draft is deep with receivers, and niners need oline depth which most starters come from early round picks. With 2 first round picks niners could get 2 starting OLinemen, or 1 OL and 1 DL potential starters which would fix their major issues. Aiyuk is a stud but they need pass pro way more than a starting WR.
Idk how the team and BA are far away in negotiations when GM yesterday or was it today I forgot put out statement saying there in good talks with BA about a deal
So, the worst case scenario could happen: the 49ers trade Ayiuk, but some other team gets him for $20/year, or much below what he was asking for from the 49ers.
If we let BA go for a 2 and 3 im gonna be pissed. bro is top tier talent. Comapared to DA with the insane ability to block down field. whoever gets him for a 2 has this ish set on rookie cuz even on madden your ash aint getting this guy for anything less then a 1st and 2nd plus a player we can build up
I hate the business end of the NFL. I wish Aiyuk would just accept what the organization feels they can afford. Next year, the new Purdy contract is probably going to hurt a lot.
BA was a 1st rounder, was one of the best WRs last season. He's not going anywhere. Rememeber his Agnet has hot thiese rumours down. Why on earth would the Niners settle for a 2nd rounder for BA who was a 1st rounder.
It’s funny that these people will say that’s too much but yet they will be selecting a wide receiver in the first round. They just wanna lowball the Niners and give a second round pick so they can still have their first round pick. I can’t scan other teams Brandon Ayuk is worth a first round pick, they better not take anything less
Trading your up and coming QBs favorite target would effectively slam the niners superbowl window shut. There is not a WR in this draft that will match BA's production in their rookie season. They trade him they deserve to be drawn and quartered.
No leaks have come out of 49ers front office since Jim Tomula...if (very big if at that) somehow word got out, my guess it was dripping with sarcasm. As in "yeah we'll trade BA...for a first round pick pal"
Why is it always the receivers. I said it before. No team can spend ,52 mil a year on two receivers. Your looking at a huge contract fo Purdy next year.
You should not say that they are not close. That is pure speculation to the point that it is garbage. It is not credible. I simply do not get what is the point of all this speculation on Aiyuk. Once we an actual announcement from Lynch we should stop focusing on Aiyuk. Bottom line is that no team will trade high draft picks for Aiyuk and then pay him more than $25 million a year in a year with a lot of rookie wide receivers. Especially in an off-season with very few blockbuster trades. Someone is yanking the chain of the reporters covering the 49ers trying to create a story out of a non-story.
Just heard the same thing on Larry's show. No way just a second round pick. If to Washington, both of their second round picks (36 and 40) and a player would be sufficient.
Well….it has been said that anyone is available for the “right price”. So all we can do is wait and see. We really don’t know. Like you said, keep an open mind. We’ll find out on Thursday.
The 49ers want a championship and Aiyuk wants that big payday. I'm sure he wants to play for a contender also, but it seems as though that paycheck is first and foremost in his mind right now. If the Niners don't have the bag to give him, he's going to have to go. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is.
A 1st round pick means nothing. It guarantees nothing. If anything it's unnecessary pressure on the team and player to be nothing short of great or you're a "bust". If anything it's insurance. Plan B, like you said. It's posturing from the Niners just like unfollow the Niners is posturing from Aiyuk. Aiyuk needs to know that allowing a little discount to allow his QB, that he praises, to be able to sign too, is not an L. Aiyuk is young and so his maturity but he needs to know there's a greater and bigger picture.
Bruh..... tHey nOt trAdiNg BA..... He's under contractual control for this season and they can franchise tag him the year after. They not letting him go. They'll prove it one way or another 48hrs or so
Bruh, let's use our two senses. If they want to much for BA, they don't intend to trade. You make an obscene offer, something no one would would circum to, and you keep your player. But of some off chance you get a bite, pull the trigger.
I hate the 2nd and 3rd deal. Hes worth a first period well rounded, tough, wr that can do everything and arent divas dont come around that often. You can get a good wr but they dont do or dont want to do the other stuff
My opinion if they trade BA it would be a huge mistake from higher up they have all the pieces that they need for a superbowl run again just not a good move for the 9ers
I realize there's a salary cap, but why trade a receiver at the top of his game. I know there are lots of WRs out there this draft, but it seems like taking a chance vs. a sure thing.
The only way BA goes for less than a 2024 1st it's because it will be a high 2nd and a 2025 1st. Otherwise BA ain't getting traded for less than a top 20 2024 1st rd draft pick. The only way they trade him is if they can get close enough to get one of the top 3 OTs
All i got to say is we better get somebody good for B.A. he's a hell of a player so we better get somebody just as good for him honestly i hope he doesn't go anywhere but. But we better get somebody just as good for him hope he doesn't go to rival team
This aint nothing that we don't truly UNDERSTAND. Every player has a price. BA's price is at least a first round pick, however obviously the organization would like to keep him. They have 22 first round grades. If they believe they could find a first round receiver with that trade then they would likely do it.
GM that thinks this is a wide receiver rich draft needs a reminder. Draft picks are a crap shoot and Aiyuk is a proven WR. If a team is up and coming and might be a #1 receiver away from contending, pull the trigger. A high draft pick WR might need a couple of seasons to fully develop into #1 and a rebuilding team can afford to wait.
Come on, bro I don’t even know why you’re reporting this. I’m not saying that it ain’t true because nobody, but the Niners can definitively say that, but what I will say is let the record reflect in the process since the beginning of Lynch and Shanahan there is no leaks nobody gets inside information about nobody when it comes to situations like this I really only take information from one person seriously and that’s David Lombardi the only nuggets you pulled out of this was the corn out of Mike Silvers 💩
All pro receiver with still a year under contract and hasn’t been franchised before is worth at least a first and second round pick with potential to become a first with incentives. Niners should not take anything less. Historically many round 1 wr bust.
If they trade BA for a 2nd rd pick then this staff deserves to be fired. And I'm not one to normally say fire Lynch/Shanahan but it is not worth it to lose a guaranteed AP receiver for a 2nd rd pick where you aren't finding his replacement
It's a load of rubbish. "But" if true I would want way much more than just a first round pick this year. At least a first round pick + players or players.
It probably will happen, otherwise they wouldn’t be looking at these college WR’s, and they would’ve gave him a contract by now, niners definitely up to something because they can’t pay two guys 25 million.
Yes, trade Ayuk to Indy for pick 15. Then select Fautanu. Next select APJ or Zach Frazier. Third, Christian Haynes. Later take Reiman, best blocking tight end. Perfect upgrade for the OL. Give Purdy time, and he will throw for 5000 yds. Ayuk is surley, salty, grumpy, unlikeable. Pick a highly likable WR later in the draft.
Translation: Trent Baalke is feeling the heat over his terrible personnel management in Jax and is trying to drive down the Niners asking price by leaking stupid shit. Result: We call his bull and stand on business.
@@greenm0bsta889 he has been lapped by the Texans, lost his best receiver, drafted a mediocre player in Tra Walker and may get lapped by the Colts if he can’t find someone for Trevor to throw too. They’re toast if they don’t do something fast
If you actually look at the splits from this year, they don't typically become run heavy until 2nd halves of games when they have a lead. They are a bit more balanced and at times start games more pass heavy. I've been tracking closely this year to see how different it is with Brock to past years
@strawberryreacts9585 I love Aiyuk but you can't pay 2 receivers $55 million per year of the cap. It's not feasible. He'll either have to play his last year on his deal or he has to take less than he's asking for.
@@greenm0bsta889 Eagles paid AJ Brown, Devonta Smith and Jalen Hurts. If they pay BA then it would be likely that next year they would move off of Deebo
