I think I see why you chose to get this mouse instead of directly supporting FinalMouse. Because damn! sitting in that virtual line when I secured my ULX Cheetah was a ball ache haha but I knew I needed to. It would be lovely to see an update on this mouse in... perhaps a month or so, because if it can stand the test of time and not break like my Xtrfy Mz1 poo poo mouse then you may save someone time and money. Or even save their parents money haha. Keen to see more from your channel bro.

PS I have the same microphone as you lol... Maybe you can do a little tips and tricks type video on how one can get the best audio quality out of that snowball. For example could that be used to start making music from someone's room? (asking for a friend :P)

One last question before I have to dip... Can you maybe compare this mouse to the ULX Cheetah internals? Would love to see if this would be worth looking into for future reference. Thanks bro beans :) oh and change the title to "first impressions" this would not yet constitute a "Review". remember to say within the parameters of your title of the video. Might be well worth putting profession effort into something you have potential to be a Professional in. Awe my bru! keep well

I will make sure to make an update after a while and I will compare this to the ulx cheetah and the wlmouse beastx mini in the future. and tbh I don't really know any good settings for the mic and I just use nvidia broadcast 😅 and thank you for the tip regarding the title! I'll change it up a little since this is technically my first impressions of the mod and not a full review.

$100 for 4k is crazy, just sell your sl12 and get the ulx the next time you can order is in march and it’ll be batch 4 you will have no qc issues

it's pricy like I mentioned in the video but I already had a starlight 12 and modding it was something that I wanted to do. I'm getting the ulx at some point if the qc is fixed and I'm gonna get the wlmouse beastx mini next month.

You can take the ULX pcb and put it in the St12 that also works

What is the point of magnesium shell anyways like I get it its solid and stuff but no one is going to grip the mouse like an orc, going for upgrades around a >200$ magnesium shell its pointless, the shape is not even that good

I would only recommend this mod if you already have a starlight 12 or you can buy it second hand for a good price like I did. for me the mod was the fastest way to get the shape I want in 4k. I prefer the small finalmouse shape over every other shape I've tried because it's the most comfortable for me.

the shape is good for fingertip, you can try the infinity hump v2 mod if you're a claw gripper

4k feeling is just plazebo if you run 800 dpi there isnt enoth data to realy trigger 4k

this is true to some extent in that using a higher dpi will benefit you more when using 4/8k. I use 800dpi most of the time and it does utilise the 4k most of the time as shown in the video
