Yeah, I think this's a good idea, having separate assembly videos for things like the pumps and valve bodies of transmissions in addition to the normal tear down and reassembly videos that you do. I think it makes for an easier learning process for the rest of us and gives you more opportunity to make videos cause you don't have to spend as much time filming.

I didn't see the pressure spring and ball with the nail like pin install.

Hi Hiram. on a 2009 chevrolet silverado 4l60e dose the pump have to be removed to do the boost valve or dose the electrical plug come out. Thanks again for videos

Dear brother i hope that u can help me to find out the problem in my chevy trail blazer 2008 ,Last year, August 2016 I change the 4W drive case and become little better for a year and recently, I encountered same problem when shifting to 2nd gear looks like there is car hitting from the back. This is after the car was stock on the sand beach and we force the car to move by changing the 2W, 4W up and 4W down switch for half an hour. Then it happens also in 3rd gear but lighter than the hit on 2nd gear. The rpm gauge was playing also from 3 to 4 when we were driving going up off road looks like the gear is having a hard time shifting or not shifting at all. Then, when I rest the car the following day, sounds better but starting to hit again on 2nd gear after staying the car open and long drive approximately 80 kms. It starts shaking when its shifting and after awhile its start to be stronger then to hit/pump again like car hitting from the back. Whenever the car will rest long time it will be okay but when you start to use it for driving the car will start again to be like that. And when I stop the car and go under if you shift between D-R you can hear sound like jangle. god bless u am hisham

what is the performance difference between the 95 dual spring and the 06 and up single spring for the pump slide.

Any chance you can show the replacement of the 4L60E oil pump cover plugs and the cup orifice plugs? What tool do you use to remove and install them?

Hi I have a 89 dodge dakota that leaks transmission fluid out of the front of the tran really slow until it warms up and then it leaks out a lot faster what would be my problem. any help would be awesome and thank you

My tcc solenoid does not fit tight down into my pump when I install it just wiggles around loose in the bore. What am I missing ?

I have a 98 Chevy blazer LT 4x4. what can cause the front to leak can it be just the front seal or can the pump seal to. it doesn't gush out but leaves a puddle. I shouldn't have to rebuild the pump just for a leak do i

Thanks for the helpful info, but everyone I see put there vanes in they just fall right into place I try that on my 03 envoy 4.2l with all new 13 vane rotor, slide, plastic guide, and new vanes since the old rotor broke in 3 places. So when I assemble mine the vanes get tight and my last 4-5 vanes wont go in at all due to no space I tried spinning it, with the spring in/out, multiple positions and still can't get them all in what I'm I doing wrong?

Where did you get the kit from? I couldn't understand the name you gave.. it was very muffled at that point.

Hey Hiram have you had any good luck with rebuild pumps for these units? I have had tons of problems with rebuilt pumps through various suppliers and they just can't seem to build them right. Example low line pressure after warmed up is the biggest issue I ever see, when this happens I end of going oem pump straight from genera motors and presto! No delayed engagements anymore when hot! Any advice on good rebuilders for these pump?

Quick question Hiram! Is the 04 and earlier 4l60e transmission pump and the 06 pump interchangeable?? Like if I have an 06 4l60e transmission, can I replace its pump with one from a 04 4l60e transmission?
