My favourite DOOM line is “When he on the mic you don’t go next.” That’s it. That’s the biggest flex, the biggest power line, the most raw a rapper can get. He’s telling you that there are no other rappers that can come after him, can outperform him, or that can replace him. He cemented his legacy with that line. And in true villain fashion, he meant it and I believe it. No one can hold a candle to doom. RIP DOOM

probably one of my favourite comments I've seen online addressing DOOM's death, was something as simple as _"I never knew the guy, but I can't help feel bummed about their death"_ DOOM always kept everything enigmatic, emphasizing the unimportance of the person behind it, but man, I can't help but feel sad.

My favorite DOOM verse is also on Doomdsday, and it says: "Definition "super-villain": a killer who love children One who is well-skilled in destruction, as well as building". Right here he shows up his dual imaginery as a Villian, he can kill and destroy, but he can love and build. It makes me remember about Bakunin, the russian anarchist who said that "The passion for destruction is a creative passion". Althou, I Think that MF DOOM isnt the villian, the industry music is the villian, he came here to fight it, but he had to learn first, he had to get profound, patient, smooth, ninja and he became a villian. People who rebel are often called "Villians" or "terrorists". There is nothing more dangerous to the power than people who told the truth. DOOM understood this, he was a strategist. Thank you for this. It’s therapeutic in a sense. I never knew the man, but the excitement I’d get when I would find out he dropped something new is something I never got from other artists. I know a lot of people say “there will never be another like them” that may or may not be true for others but no one makes stuff like DOOM did. We are lucky to be alive in a timeline where DOOM existed.
