5 Ingredient Chocolate Oatmeal Bars! These are so quick and easy to make. This simple bar comes together with only 5 Ingredients, and who doesn’t enjoy chocolate and peanut butter?:)
5 Ingredient Chocolate Oatmeal Bars
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
Whisk till creamy
Add:
2 cups oatmeal
Press into lined 8 by 12 baking dish baking dish, Or:
(A doubled recipe makes 17 times 11 cookie sheet) bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes till golden and edges are lightly browned.
As soon as lt comes out of the oven:
1/2 cup peanut butter (just blob lt on! lt will melt in the oven and will spread easily after lt comes out out the oven. You don’t need to spread it if it seems like the bars are soft)
sprinkle with :
1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Return to oven till chocolate chips are melted. Spread chocolate all over bars.
lf the bars look to soft or your peanut butter ls very thick it might be a good idea to do the following:
OR: THIS WILL ENSURE THE BARS WONT CRUMBLE! melt together the chocolate chips and peanut butter double boiler and spread over cooled bars
