Been practicing Chi Gong and yin yoga since my 30's I am 70 now, I have no medical conditions, I give credit to these practices, lifestyle and diet, I love this practice, I like doing new and different movements, keeps it from getting boring, so I'm not just going through the motions, learning new sequences keep the mind stimulated and staves off dementia. This has a really nice flow; I love how they guide you through, that the breath flow is part of it, elements are mentioned and what each movement does in the body, thanks for posting.

This was a really nice collaboration. Your styles compliment each other very nicely and I so appreciate you introduciing us to knew things and people, Nick. You are a kind hearted, generous person and I appreciate tyou soo much. I loved feeling some cmparisons with exercises in Qigong with Nate's Korean style: #1 reminded me of Pulling 9 Cows By Their Tails, from Yi Jin Jin, #2: reminded me of Monkey, #3: 2 hands holding up the sky combined with Arrow from the 8 Brocades, #4: Tiger mixed with Horse Shakes It's Tail (I think thats what it is called) #5: Crane grows into Phoenix. All really nice. Also, Nick, great way of bringing us into the standing meditation's body alignment. You have really developed that so nicely. Great job both of you! I'm inspired.

And now, looking at the " bigger picture" rather literally , I notice that you both have the same tee shirts ! Which are rather fabulous. Qigong, exercise, meditation, breathwork, awareness, beautiful location . And fashion . What a Team ! :>)))

Loved this video. Longer than I expected, so it challenged me a bit, but something to keep returning to, until it flows easier. Thank you so much. This is my favorite qigong channel.

Qi u later😆! You will Nick! I’ve been following you continuously for years now (silently!), and want to share that I’ve decided to replace my morning run with your guided videos, which I keep doing outside despite the cold. As rarely we bring the body near the ground (snow), qigong is a wonderful winter outdoors practice!! My body asked me for a deep long rest from years (decades?!?) of regular running. You are my caring answer :-) Salutations de Montréal! PS: your videos, pace, voice, pronunciation, editing, photography, have evolved to real pieces of beauty! Keep it up mon frère!

A wonderful relaxing session. Very Dao and yin/yang. Natural - nature setting, peaceful both in mood and movements and very much 'going with the flow'. Nick another memorable routine to practice. Thank you and also for introducing Nate. Yin/yang of the light turning to towards dark with the sunset backdrop.

Thank you, again?, for this great routine. A great combo. Both challenging and soothing. As I am doing more qigong, slowly, slowly, I identify areas of tension in my body. And even more slowly, sometimes I find a release of that tension.

I’m 72 and have limited range of motion in my shldrs. I can’t reach the back above my waist when doing the beginning of this routine. The best I can do is reach my sacrum or glutes. Any suggestions, Nick?
@georgenada6413
@georgenada6413 Год назад
Hopefully Nick will chime in with his take, but I asked a similar question on a another QiGong channel I follow a couple weeks ago, since I recently injured myself and need to not do any particularly straining moves. Here was his response: "Qigong should never damage you. If you have physical limitations work within your comfort zone. Remember the intention behind the movement is even more important than the movement. Focus your mind on the area being worked during those exercises and move your body through the range that is comfortable for you." Hope this helps!

This is the correct answer! Yes, glutes or sacrum or fine.

非常好的視頻,一切都來自中國,與布羅卡的作品有相似之處,確實,靜態位置對氣能非常有效。為了有效,必須每天練習。
