Thanks for joining us again! Today's video we give you an overview of how to 5 lug swap your e30 using Bc Racing Coilovers and Condor Speed Shop brackets. We are very stoked with the swap and are planning to go the same route on our other E30 Coupe!

I recently did the rear 5 lug swap and also had the same brake issue you talked about. I ended up upgrading my brake master cylinder to the 5 or 7 series one, cant remember, but it didn't fix my issue. Deleted the ABS, still didn't fix my issue. Checked the calipers... they were on the wrong sides. The nipples were pointed downward which continually trapped air in the system and wouldn't come out regardless how many times I power bled the brakes. Swapped them to their appropriate sides and orientations and viola, no more spongey brakes that went to the floor. Love the new suspension on your build man, looks mean! Can't wait to my fronts.

I hope you see this. For the front wheel speed sensor do the e30 sensors bolt right up with the new E36 knuckles?

Jesse! Sorry for the lag bro but the sensor DOES fit in bore however the bolt holes do not line up. Since we deleted the abs in this car we didn't even hook any of those wheel sensors back up 😬

What swaybar links did you use? They look adjustable.

They are the garagistic links but unfortunately they turned out to be too long for the ride height 😭 I have to cut them and rethread to make them work. This will be in a future video!

what did u guys do with the rear? what parts were used other than the 5 lug hubs?

Hey Cesar! Thanks for the comment. The rear is made up of Z3 (straight 6 model) hubs, and rotors, and carriers (caliper brackets), E36 calipers and pads 🙂👍 Keep in mind that this set up will work with 1986+ e30s. Earlier cars had a smaller rear wheel bearing requiring e36ti parts

will i be able to use airlift bags instead of coils if i swap? ill have to just get e30 rears but e36 fronts correct?

Christian thanks for the comment! We are not 100 percent sure about front bag set up because the sizes vary but if we'd have to guess then yes as long as the hats fit

Do you use original e30 break lines? Or the ones for the new calipers(e46)?

Hello Juan! From what I remember I flipped the caliper upside down to use the E30 brake lines that they would reach. BUT depending on how low you go you can actually use them in the e36 orientation. Send us a dm via Instagram and I'll send you some pictures of the set up! 🙏

Hey there thanks for the comment! The condor speed shop 5 lug control arm bracket allows you to use the stock E30 control arm so we went that route and used the stock ones 😊

Hey Jay! Thanks for the comment! So you do not have to use these exact coilovers BUT they do have to be specific for the 5 lug swap. Megan racing makes a set of coilovers for the 5 lug swap as well. coiloverdepot.com/products/84-92-bmw-e30-5-lug-conversion-megan-racing-coilovers-euro-ii?gclid=CjwKCAjwo_KXBhAaEiwA2RZ8hCuiTgfqUDrHizV_fOEOarbl5HTTM9OJuYdx1PUx-x3xBqOqTdxkchoCj9wQAvD_BwE A google search for "E30 5 lug swap coilovers" will yield a couple of different manufacturers that provide this for the community 😊

@@josipperic4072 Hey man! We haven't confirmed that approach so we honestly don't know yet BUT we do have a buddy that used e36 M3 coilovers and had camber issues. We think there might be geometry adjustment in the e30 specific coils. Let us know if you read otherwise because that would be a great approach as well! thank you for commenting josip 🙌
